Chapter 48
One of Us
JUSTIN
Justin was walking on cloud nine for the next week.
The architect took Averyâs ideas and created some great plans and work-ups. The board picked the one they liked the best, and the finalized plans were sent off for city approval and permits.
With their connections at city hall, they were hoping to get the go-ahead to break ground in the next two weeks.
The construction crew owner was a close friend of Stevoâs and completely rearranged their schedules to make this the top priority, so they would be ready on a momentâs notice to start.
Justin even encouraged them to start bringing the heavy equipment over on the weekend. It was going to be quiet and not much going on.
Everyone was actually excited, and the meeting Justin had the night before with the entire MCâold ladies includedâwent exceptionally well.
Everyone loved the new ideas and congratulated Avery on a job well done. Justin wanted to ride that momentum and promised lots of bonus money paid out if they got it done by next summer.
Justin was whistling to himself as he sat at his desk until he heard the knock and looked up to see Heather. He sighed.
She had been pretty handsy and persistent on trying to get back in Justinâs pants, or him in hers. She didnât like that Avery was the only one to hold his attention no matter what she tried.
So the fact that she was here again set Justinâs temper rising.
âWhat do you need, Heather?â
âWell, I was just checking to see if you needed anything. Any stress reliefâ¦or other activities?â she purred as she walked to his desk and sat down on the edge.
He hated that he had slept with her. She wasnât that attractive to him, but she was willing and that was all that had mattered to him for a long time.
But Avery changed him and opened his eyes to so many new things.
âNo, Heather. I thought I made myself perfectly clear that I am married and have an old lady. I love her and have everything I need with her,â Justin stated.
âI wonât repeat myself again. If you make any more offers or advances on me, I will have you expelled from the club. Do you understand?â
Heather pouted. âFine. But I just thought you should know that your ~old lady~ didnât do the liquor order right. We are down on Jack and wonât have enough for the weekend.â
âI will take a look and figure something out. Now get outâand remember your place!â Justin barked.
âMy place used to be on my knees sucking you off,â Heather reminded him with a wink.
âLast warning!â he yelled, and she turned in a huff and left. He knew she was going to be a problem, and sooner rather than later he was going to have to kick her out.
He sighed again and picked up his phone, calling his wife to see what was going on after checking the invoices to see Heather was right.
As much as he loved her, he didnât want to pick up after her if she wasnât getting the ordering right.
He didnât have time since they were doing weekly runs for Gio and had encountered some pushback from some other group.
âHi, Justin, how are you?â she answered.
âHey, baby, Iâm okay. How are you and the peanut?â he asked lovingly.
âWe are just fine. A little queasy, but nothing that some tea and toast wonât fix,â she replied, which made him smile.
âGood. Hey, can I ask a question about the ordering?â he asked carefully.
âSure... Did I do it right?â
âOh yeah, things look good, but I am just curious about the Jack for the bar. We only have two bottles left and that wonât get us through the weekend,â Justin explained.
âOh, I know. The distributor called me after I placed the order and said they were short on inventory for some reason.
âI am going this afternoon to the liquor store to buy some more to tide us over. I left a note for the sweet butts explaining everything. Is that okay?â Avery said.
Feeling relieved that she was doing everything correctly, he smiled. âYep, all good, baby. I was just making sure, but you have everything under control.â
âOkay. I gotta run into the bakery, can I call you when I am done?â she asked.
âNo, you go and do your thing. I will be home tonight after checking on the bar and strip club. Iâll see you then unless you need something, okay?â he replied.
They hung up after ~I love you~âs were exchanged. Justin got up to go fill in Heather and stopped short of the bar when he heard her talking with another sweet butt.
She was telling her how sheâd found Averyâs note but got rid of it and pretended that she screwed up to get her in trouble with Justin.
Alice, the other woman, didnât reply when she saw Justin standing there looking enraged.
She stood up and walked away so she wouldnât get any backlash. She liked her position in the club and wasnât going to jeopardize it.
Heather stood up, wondering what her problem was, and paled when she saw Justin in the bar mirror behind her.
âIs that fucking true?â Justin demanded.
âWhat are you talking about?â Heather stammered.
âAlice! Tell me what this bitch said to you,â Justin bellowed.
Alice came right over and explained again what Heather had said. Heather braced for impact.
âGet out,â Justin growled.
âWhat?â Heather asked, totally shocked.
âGet the fuck out of my clubhouse and donât come back. You donât get to fuck with my wife and what she is doing here,â Justin spat.
âJustin, you donât mean that!â Heather said.
âOh, I fucking do. You are done. If I ever see you here again, you will not like the consequences. Now, GET THE FUCK OUT!â he yelled.
Heather threw down the towel she was holding and stomped around the bar toward the door.
Justin walked over to make sure she left. He stood like a giant tree blocking her way back in and crossed his arms.
Heather looked back and smiled at him. âThis isnât the last of me, Justin. I will be back and you will want me in your bed!â
âNot if you were the last pussy on earth. Now get off my property,â he hissed again, and watched as she got in her car after flashing her tits at him and left.
He texted the board that she was out and Alice would be the lead bartender from now on. He went back inside and told Alice about her new job, then reminded her what would happen if anyone fucked with his wife.
Alice nodded and went about her work. Justin was just thankful that he didnât have to put up with Heather anymore.
