"come on moni get out the car, we at nana house so mommy can go to work." sai'elle said to emoni.

"okay mommy. i quick sleep." emoni said falling back asleep in the carseat.

"this damn girl- emoniii. babygirl. emoni. baby. nana has toys and food. emoniii come on mommy gon be late." sai spoke softly while kissing emoni's face.

"okay okay mommy i up GOSH."

"emoni rose. who are you talking to? i have to work, you know the drill now lets go. you slept all day."

"okay mommy." emoni replied with tears.

"princess don't start that. i didn't mean to get loud. mommy's sorry okay but just watch how your tone is because that's not nice."

"okay baby?"

"yes."

"knock on nana's door for me." sai'elle spoke more softly.

one thing milan hated was making her child upset and feeling how she felt as a kid.

so she made it her mission to ALWAYS let emoni know adults can be wrong, make mistakes, abs say sorry too.

don't get sai'elle wrong, anita was the best mom but sometimes she was a little bit strong with them because she was a single mom working 2 jobs.

with sai'elle being in her thoughts, she didn't hear emoni telling her that anita opened the door and didn't hear anita calling her until she felt emoni let go of her hand.

"im sorry mom, i zoned out."

"it's okay my baby."

"we'll talk later." anita mouthed to sai'elle.

sai is happy that her and her mother have a better relationship now that they went to therapy and since she had emoni.

sometimes sai'elle wishes her mom was like that with her but she's glad that emoni gets to experience a healthy and strong relationship with her nana.

"okay but her schedule for today is no sleep until bedtime. she relaxed and took naps 2 times today. she ate breakfast and lunch so dinner is whatever you decide. snacks are in the bag, only 2 after dinner and she has to pee before bed. bedtime is at 9:15 since daycare is at 7. her ipad and everything she needs is in the bookbag."

"you done? baby i got it. i have thre- two kids and i've watched rosebud before so i'm good. thank you for the list but emoni is in perfect hands. i promise." anita spoke with her usual warm smile.

"i'm sorry nita girl but okay well kisses baby, come here. be good for nana, i love you and i will pick you up from daycare tomorrow."

"okay mommy. i love you. mwah."

"i love you more baby always. mwah mwah mwah."

"okay see you. love you mommy, see yall tomorrow." sai'elle spoke leaving out.

driving to mystic, sai felt slightly sad that emoni couldn't go with her dad due to him not answering or pulling up.

sai has been a single mom before and she'd do it again but she remembers the sad night feelings and doesn't want to rob emoni of the experience of having a dad.

as sai'elle walked into her job, she noticed cymone sitting their staring straight ahead looking angry.

knowing they aren't on good terms and why, sai got irritated and was ready to fight her because of the situation.

"good evening all. how was yall day? bad? aw well i'm here now so it's alright." sai giggled and got everybody to laugh.

"i'll be in my office bookiesss." sai'elle says ignoring cymone.

sai'elle walked in and closed her door wondering why the fuck cymone was out there.

as sai gathered her materials to do a tattoo at 5:00, she heard her door opened and didn't even need to turn because she knew exactly who it was.

"please leave. i'm not doing this at my place of employment and i have a 5:00. its 4:20, leave now thank you." sai spoke not even turning around.

"so you gonna act like a bitch to me because you was being in my business?"

asthonished by how cymone spoke, sai turned around with her eyebrows furrowed.

sai didn't even know how she wanted to handle that so she just said the first thing that came to mind.

"i was a what? no hell no bitch. you got me fucked up. YOU was fucking two other females putting MY health at risk so yes i'm upset. i don't know them from a can of paint. of course i'm upset. you could've given me anything." sai'elle said whisper yelling so nobody outside heard the twos conversation.

"you acting like a child. that's ridiculous. i didn't fuck 2 other girls, i fucked my ex because you followed that girl back on instagram and lied about it."

"i didn't lie about anything. i told you i fucked her on new years and did her tattoo BEFORE i even met you or knew who you were. i had ONE conversation with the girl about her tattoo and piercing healing. now you see why i didn't want to believe you wanted to be with me because that's not what you do in a relationship/talking stage whatever. you wanted to meet my daughter too? tuh hell no, you was popping up everywhere i was at. yeah no. you 100% stalked me and literally wonder why i blocked you and all that." sai exclaimed getting heated.

"you just a fake gay bitch who aint healed from her babydaddy and father leaving. you could've communicated."

"I COULD'VE? NO YOU CO- get out."

sai'elle closed her eyes and did her breathing techniques trying to not hit her and jeopardize her job.

all sai heard was cymone mutter "bitch" and the door slam before the tears started pouring. she couldn't believe she fucked that girl and gave her access to herself.

she felt so disgusting. she felt used like she did as a child. throwing her trauma in her face? weird and nasty.

** knock knock **

sai wiped her face and turned around gathering more of her stuff to do her 5:00 because it was no 4:40.

"yes come in?"

"hi sai'elle? i'm here for the 3 tattoos at 5. i'm kira."

"hey boo, i'm sorry i'm usually more prepared. you ready?"

"girl it's fine. i got all day but yes ma'am." kira replied laughing.

"okay let's go then." sai replied with a fake smile.

soooo this was the flashback..

cymone's done and weird, no more her. that was weird of her.

we met kira👀.

next chapter will be a timeskip, sorry this was supposed to be out yesterday but shit was crazy.
