analeya was sitting in her car around 7:00 pm rolling up while  music was playing at a medium tempo.

she hadn't spoken to anybody but her grandparents, but even then she only called to tell them what happened and that she was okay.

"my affection" by summer walker played in her 2024 nissan sentra while she laid back and sealed the blunt.

since my teens go by in a coach seat

analeya sung along to the song while she smoked and reminisced on the times where she wasn't sad. she was so tempted to go back to her old ways but she needed to be alone.

the girl wasn't aware that she was on thin ice with her family and friends.

"i can't believe this shit man." analeya said with tears streaming down her face and starting up her car.

truthfully she didn't even know where she was driving to, she was just driving around to clear her head.

recognize by partynextdoor and drake came on which made leya feel a pang of guilt in her heart.

"this one of her favorite songs." analeya thought to herself about her girlfriend, sai'elle.

analeya stopped the car and realized she was at the cemetery. she was avoiding it but her subconscious knew where she needed to be, that's why she drove there.

the young girl walked to the burial plot and took a deep breath.

"hi trin-trin. they been cleaning your stone baby." she spoke wiping the tears that already started to form.

"i know you probably cussing me out right now because i haven't been here in a while. i'm sorry. i just couldn't face the reality of you not being here anymore. sometimes i can face the truth and other times i can't. i miss you so much bro. i wish you were here. my mom came back, she's trying to get custody of arya and she wants a relationship with me and booda. i couldn't deal with all that, i shut down and drove to your old apartment just to remember you weren't gonna be there with open arms." analeya said pausing to breathe.

"i miss you, i miss my godson i have to get him soon. i wish i could've stopped you trinity. why would you leave me, tremani, & treyvon? i feel lost. can't make no friends but your ugly ass husband trey, i know you cussing at me fa that one too. i can just hear you now girl. i miss us as a crew. it was us 3 forever. my sister and brudda. we barely even talk anymore, he's so hurt and it's like what do i expect? it's been a year today. im gonna start visiting more tho i promise. show me a sign you hear me bitch damn! got me talking to the air and i know you clowning me." she said softly chuckling remembering what her bestfriend would say in this moment.

as analeya laughed it started to drizzle. she knew it was merely a coincidence but her bestfriend loved rain and there it was starting to drizzle.

"oh you here huh bitch? i miss you tho baby. tremani misses you and trust me treyvon does too. i love you baby. have fun up there. let it rain all night for us, goodnight trinity hope harrison." analeya said kissing her finger then kissing the tombstone.

while analeya was leaving she heard a car door slam and she heard a small voice call her name.

"godmommy!!"

"godsonnnn!" analeya said smiling happily and running to pick him up.

"oh my gosh tremani you are so big baby. this gonna make me cry i miss you so much. you're almost 6 tooda. you were just my small tooda man." she spoke with tears forming in her eyes.

analeya hadn't seen her godson in a while. due to her busy schedule, her grieving, and just feeling scared to reach out to treyvon.

"no godmommy, don't cry. mommy always cried just like you. i miss you and mommy. can i come over? i haven't seen you in forever." tremani spoke shyly.

"yes yes of course. i'm sorry i really missed you mani butt."

"damn am i gonna get the same treatment?" treyvon spoke smartly with a smirk.

"i'm sorry von. hi."

"hi? come here man." von said pulling analeya into a hug while rubbing her back.

this made analeya break down crying. she couldn't fake it anymore.

"aye mani, go talk to mommy. i'll be there in a second."

"ain't gotta tell me twice." tremani said running to the tombstone.

normally treyvon would tell him stay but he ain't want tremani in this conversation and trinity was buried right where they were standing. just down more so mani was safe.

"aw come on crybaby. i missed you sis, you coolin?"

"i'm sorry von i just couldn't. i know she was your wife and that's tremani's mom so i should've been there for you guys but i just couldn't face y'all. i should've been there. she called me twice, i'm so dumb bro."

"aye aye, first of all ley, we're good. secondly she may have been my wife but yall been friends since the sandbox pooh, i know it hit you hard. i reached out but i also gave space because i understand. i love trinity but she killed herself. she swallowed those pills. not us, we cannot blame ourselves and we cannot blame her. we were there and we trusted she was okay but you and i both know how good she was at hiding her emotions no matter how good we knew her. nobody could've seen that coming but we're okay. mani understands you're busy and i do too. just don't be a stranger." treyvon said to his bestfriend while kissing her forehead.

"okay von, i missed you. i'm sorry i stayed away." analeya spoke finally releasing from the hug and wiping her tears.

"it's cool. i'm not mad, we're good pooh."

"okay good! well i'm gonna let y'all enjoy your time with trin and mani and i'm going to go fix shit with my girl in the morning probably. y'all can come by when y'all leave if you want. you two are always welcome! address ain't change. i love you and tell mani i love him." analeya spoke finally releasing a breath she didn't know she was holding.

"okay goodnight, drive safe. i love you too and so does mani."

analeya smiled softly and turned her music up before pulling off.

she finally felt like she received some type of closure and peace with the situation. now she had to make things right with sai'elle.

little did she know that was something that was not happening.
