sai'elle was sitting out back of her house smoking and sipping her wine listening to her playlist.

it was officially 12 am which means that sai was 22.

she was grateful she made it here after everything she went through.

life was picking up for her. she left everybody alone and made her daughter sole focus again.

her passion for doing tattoos grew so she started getting multiple clients booking a day.

she couldn't help but shed a few tears thanking God for her seeing 22 and being successful.

"hard to call it all my fault mama, tried to keep you out dat drama mama." sai'elle sung along to fwu by partynextdoor.

emoni was at her dad's because tristan wanted to relieve some of sai'elles issues on her birthday.

sai loves her daughter but raising her all alone is hard sometimes and she doesn't ask for help so people in their family step in and take emoni for a few days to help her.

tristan helped much more and they've been on better terms lately.

sai'elle lowkey got her bestfriend back.

depression is no joke.

heartbreak is no joke.

** knock knock **

sai'elle was already feeling a little high and tipsy so she stood up slowly and walked to her door.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY BITC- why the fuck you look sad milan?" naloni said while her smile dropped.

"i'm good sister, thank you so much. I'M 22 HOEEEEE!"

"mhmmm, we gon talk." loni spoke side eyeing her little sister and walking in.

"so what we doing boo?"

"it's your birthday sai, we can do what you were already doing boo."

"okay bet, i'm just smoking and sipping on some wine."

the two girls walked to the back and sat down in the backyard chairs.

"oouu nice lil vibe back here. cut that music down though because we are about to talk."

sai'elle turned the music lower and poured her sister a cup of wine.

"ou this the wine that mommy be having."

"yeah."

"okay i'm excited now boo." naloni trailed off.

sai'elle peeped how loni kept checking her phone and turning her brightness down.

"that's weird." sai'elle thought to herself.

"speak on why you're sad sai'elle. let yourself feel emotions, all that hardbody shit is done. talk to me baby sister."

"whew hold on." sai'elle said wiping her tears and taking a deep breath.

"i just miss her. i don't want to call her or anything because it's pointless. i'm hurt and i would rather not fix stuff for her to pull a tristan. she was my everything and i was falling hard man. you don't even know. worse than you and mari."

"oh damn that's saying something." naloni said sipping her wine.

sai'elle giggled remembering how hard loni and mari fell for each other in the beginning.

"but yeah i love her. we met 8 months ago and she became my routine as soon as we talked after emoni birthday. it's like i became codependent hella fast and i promised you AND mommy i wouldn't do that again but i can't help it. the way she treated me and acted towards me just had me feeling like the prettiest important princess EVER. i don't know man i'm just stuck."

"so then what's the problem toodie?"

"you still call me that shit ew." sai'elle said with a scrunched up face.

"yes you'll always be my toodie, my first born toodie. but stop trying to change the subject."

"ughhh fine. the problem is there is no problem. she messed up and i wanted to fold as soon as she said sorry. i can't be that person. she hurt me, she left emoni and moni not her daughter but she knew that once she got with me and met my daughter, things had to change. i'm just hurt as shit and i been pushing these emotions away but it hurts." sai'elle said wiping her tears away and breathing slowly.

"can i be honest toodie?"

"yes."

"it sounds like you need to heal from tristan and everybody else. it sounds like she gave you the reason you were looking for. i'm not disagreeing with you, she was wrong but i think you like that she messed up because it gave you a chance to run. she's not chasing you and you seem more at peace with that. you are scared and that's okay, i promise it is but why suffer and miss her when you could go back to therapy and work stuff out with her?"

"oh bitch you just clocked my dumb ass."

"i always do."

"seriously though, you are right. it's a big deal that she hurt me but i lowkey am glad she did it because i was scared, i was falling so fast and i couldn't. i'm scared to admit how much i've fell in love with her. she got me thinking about more kids naloni, she is i swear she is." sai'elle said smiling and reminiscing on the good days.

"so call her."

"no i'm jumping on business. i looked her in her eyes and said that's what i wanted. i told her i wanted her to go away. i gave her all her shit and i'm supposed to just call? i can't naloni."

"here y'all go with this standing on business shit. you shouldn't do that shit when you are with somebody, y'all are supposed to communicate forgive and move on. standing or "jumping" on business is played out sai. give her a call. i would never lead you down the wrong path."

naloni tried her best to teach sai'elle different because she saw how standing on business almost ruined her relationship with amari.

"ou i hate when you right." sai'elle said mugging her sister.

"i know."

"loni, you always gotta be sick?"

"DO! now turn me up hoe, you 22 and crying the fuck?" naloni said getting in sai'elle face.

"okay true, change the song let's get it together and go live."

"FROM THE FRONT DOOR TO THE BACK....." was heard throughout the backyard.

"oh this my shit. live i'm bouta cut the fuck up."

"me too sis come on. i might be fucked up but at least i got to twerk." naloni said coming over and getting ready.

LATER THAT DAY.....

sai'elle woke up out her sleep hearing voices in her house.

last thing she remembered was her sister and her on the bed watching the boondocks. the night was honestly a blur after the 2 cups of wine and 2 blunts.

sai picked up her phone and saw all the messages and posts about her birthday and smiled.

she responded to everyone then did her morning stretch.

"it's like a reward." she said to herself as she giggled.

sai'elle got up and went to her bathroom to brush her teeth, wash her face, and pee before getting her day started.

once she finished in the bathroom, she walked back in her room and started looking for an outfit for the mystery events her cousin and sister had planned.

"ONE TIME FOR THE BIRTHDAY BITCH." naloni screamed bursting into sai'elles room.

"TWO TIMES FOR THE BIRTHDAY BITCH." amiyah yelled walking behind naloni.

"THREE TIMES FOR THE BIRTHDAY BITCH." they yelled in unison.

"FUCK IT UP IF ITS YOUR BIRTHDAY BITCH." amiyah, naloni, and sai'elle yelled together.

amiyah was naloni and sai'elles cousin that moved to atlanta a while back so they hadn't seen her in a while.

also due to a petty argument she had with sai'elle a few months back.

she was 25 so she was between them. the girls were inseparable as kids.

"MIMI BITCH I MISSED YOUUU." sai'elle yelled jumping up.

"I MISSED YOU SO MUCH MOREEE TOODIE." amiyah said hugging her cousin.

"i'm actually having a bomb ass birthday now like i don't care about anything else. thank you for being here pooh."

"i'm sorry toodie, i was trying to get here earlier but my flight was delayed." amiyah said pouting.

"it's okay you're here now. i'm sorry about everything, fuck the argument. i want our bond back."

"i told you she was gonna say that." naloni started laughing.

all three of the girls laughed and then amiyah hugged sai'elle.

"i see where you was coming from now. we both did too much though pooh, i love you. we good girl now fuck off me with that sappy shit."

"oh bitch you sick for that." sai'elle said jokingly while mugging her cousin.

"IS!!"

"okay now get dressed hurry, you see we ready boo." loni said spinning in a circle.

"okayyy. give me an hour."

sai'elle quickly ran in the bathroom and cut the shower on then turned her playlist on shuffle and hopped in.

IDGAF by mariah the scientist, tee grizzley, and chris brown started playing.

"oh this my shit" sai'elle said to herself while lathering her rag with soap.

she was using her shea butter dove bar soap paired with her coconut shea butter body wash.

(a/n: the shit smells so good yall, my go to scents be vanilla, coconut, shea butter, or cocoa butter!!)

after performing a fake concert and washing her body, she got out the shower.

walking back in her room she dried off and put on her baby lotion.

she saw 2 outfits hung up so of course she picked up the one that looked more calm.

she put on medium washed ripped flare jeans with a orange long sleeved cropped shirt and some cute orange wedge heels.

sai'elle then walked to her vanity and put in her silver stud earrings with a cute S necklace and her bracelets.

thankfully her lashes, hair, and nail appointment has been done so she just had to fluff her lashes and brush her hair.

"i look good as fuck hold on." sai'elle said lowly while spraying herself with her vanilla warm sugar perfume.

"AND DO HOLD UP CAUSE MY TOODIE PRETTY AS FUCK YALL." naloni yelled walking in and recording.

"we been knew that though!" mimi said sitting down on sai'elles ottoman bench.

"WE ALL LOOK GOOD FUCK!" naloni said laughing.

naloni had on a long purple bodycon dress with some clear heels. she also paired it with her gold jewelry and had on her fruity bath and body works perfume.

amiyah had on a black bodysuit with a cropped jean jacket on and some cute pumps. she paired that with some rose gold jewelry and wore her valentino perfume.

"okay i'm ready! where we going?"

"we going to eat boo. we treating you today so don't bring that fuck ass wallet anywhere toodie." mimi said standing up and grabbing her car keys.

"why my wallet gotta be allat? but i'll just have to keep my ID in my pocket because what if a bitch want a drank?"

"okay fine bring the wallet but don't try to pay for nothing or ima fight you sai'elle i'm forreal."

"i'm not i swear. look pinkies!" sai'elle said excitedly.

the girls made a face at toodie and sai'elle saw them and mugged them back.

"we gon do this til we die and even after that. now come on, you know all 3 of us do it." said sai'elle rolling her eyes.

"pinkiessss!" the three girls said after locking pinkies and kissing it.

"i'm driving!" naloni said hurriedly.

"shotgun!" sai'elle spoke while jogging to the car.

"good cause i like the back seat."

the three girls got in the car and immediately started listening to sza.

"NOBODY GETS ME BUT YOUUUU!" they sung together.

after 15 minutes of driving they pulled up to z on 23 rooftop bar.

(a/n: i'm not from texas so i'm ngl to ya, i don't know if this good or not soooo. forgive me if i'm wrong.)

"ou i'm bouta eat so good! thank y'all deadass." sai'elle said rushing to get inside.

"calm down boo! but you're welcome toodie, only the best for you." naloni said kissing her cheek.

"bitch i told you bout kissing my toodie when you suck dick." mimi said frowning.

"you be kissing my toodie and you eat ass. so now what?"

"let's just go.. my face feels violated, yall are sick individuals." sai'elle said laughing.

"she lying on me toodie, i never ate nobody ass."

"sureee amiyah, let's go. no more ass eating talk. i'm sick to my stomach."

the trio walked into the place and were immediately seated.

they looked at their menus and immediately saw what they all wanted.

"hi i'm paris. i'll be your server for today, can i start you guys with drinks or appetizers or are you ready to order?"

"hi paris! we're all ready to order. can i have the strawberry lemonade to drink and to eat can i please have the grilled salmon florentine?"

"yes ma'am and for you?" paris said pointing at amiyah.

"can i please have the peach pina colada and a water also please and to eat can i please get the roasted half chicken?" amiyah said.

"of course and for you?" said paris looking at naloni.

"can i please have the blackened rib eye and to drink can i have a sweet tea please?" said naloni.

"okay got it! i'll be right out with your drinks!" paris spoke with a smile while grabbing the menus.

"thank you boo." amiyah said happily.

paris walked away and they turned towards amiyah.

"thank you boo." sai'elle said mocking her cousin.

"oh fuck y'all, i'm being nice. and she look good so no harm no foul."

"sick!"

"well guess i'm a germ." amiyah said giggling.

the drinks came and the girl were catching up while waiting on their food.

they truly missed this with each other.

THAT NIGHT....

their late lunch outing had went good and they got so full that they came home and crashed.

it was around 10 pm when amiyah popped up first looking around seeing it was dark then checking her phone.

after seeing the time, she shook her cousins awake.

"we gonna be late! get up." mimi spoke waking them both up.

"um late for what?" sai'elle said groggily while scratching her head.

"toodie touch ya nose and get dressed."

all three girls woke up and went to freshen up and then they brushed their teeth.

once they finished and got dressed. they all took pictures together and posted toodie.

"we are so cute like fuckkkk!" amiyah said recording on snap.

once they were satisfied with how they looked and took enough videos, they all got in naloni's car.

they pulled up to the club and instantly seen all the people outside.

"oh my gosh, it's so much people."

"nope! we gon get it, let's breathe and pray." naloni said dismissing sai'elles antisocial tendencies away.

"okay. thank you God for letting toodie see 22 and thank you for allowing us to be here to witness her healing process and turning 22. please keep this club under you loving and gracious hand oh God, please let this night be fun and one to remember for my toodie. protect all of us as we walk inside this building Father God. these and all blessings we ask in your name, Amen!" amiyah spoke seriously.

"AMEN! okay sister mimi with the Holy word." naloni said.

"AMEN! i see you deaconess amiyah." said sai'elle laughing at her cousin.

"y'all play all day come on now."

the trio walked to the club and got in, once they got in their section they had strippers and hookah.

"IT'S MY TOODIE BIRTHDAY! TURN UP." naloni yelled while smiling.

"I'M 22 BITCH WHATS TEAAAA!"

"okay shots boo."

"22 shots?" mimi said knowing how scary her cousin is.

"oh bitch you're sick. 22 shots my ass, i'll take 6."

"i was playing toodie, we all gon take 4."

"we? but loni driving." sai'elle spoke confused with furrowed eyebrows

"amari ubering here to drive us back to your spot so that we can all enjoy ourselves." said naloni while picking up her shot.

"OKAY SHOTSSS! baddie baddie shot oclock!"

they all took their shots and kept going til they all collectively had 4.

"whew because never did i mix casamigos and don julio reposado." sai'elle said scrunching her face and sipping on her lemonade.

"light and dark. damn, i may get pregnant tonight." said naloni while shaking her head.

"straight people problems. can't relate!" amiyah said laughing and high fiving sai'elle.

"sick people!" loni said laughing.

"ISSSSS!" the 2 girls spoke while giggling.

as the night went on, the girls took more shots and got drunker.

strippers was twerking, they were twerking, bottle girls was twerking. the whole section was lit.

"i miss analeya. let me call her fuck all this."

"YES BITCH CALL HER." naloni yelled slurring her words.

"YUP CALL. I DONT KNOW WHO WE CALLING BUT I'M LEFT OUT."

"never mimi, we'll update you tomorrow if we can remember."

sai'elle pulled out her phone and texted analeya.

after what felt like hours, she called her and waited for an answer.

"hello?" analeya said groggily.

"baby i want us back i miss you. where you at? i'm drunk and horny as fuck!"

"she is leya she is!" naloni spoke in the back cracking up.

analeya perked up hearing sai'elles voice.

"baby- i- sai'elle where you at mama? you remember you called it quits."

"fuck that dumbass break. i want my leya back."

"i'm not leaving you at no club drunk. where you at?"

sai'elle sent her location and then started singing to analeya.

analeya hopped in the car and started driving to the club.

"hold on mama. i'll call right back."

"okay hurry baby." sai'elle spoke sluggishly.

analeya called amari and told him to pick naloni up so she wasn't left alone.

after arriving at the club and seeing amari, they both went in and saw their girlfriends on the couch with their cousin twerking.

sai'elle felt herself being snatched down and seen naloni being snatched before she looked up and saw her ex-girlfriend.

"ou hey sexy face. wait who's mimi going with?"

"who's mimi?" analeya said looking around.

"m-my cousin."

"amari taking her with him and loni i think."

"okay pick me up." sai'elle said rubbing all over analeya.

they walked out of the club and she heard sai rambling.

"bye amari!! bye loni and mimi. kisses, i'm bouta get fucked!" sai'elle yelled.

"ME TOO BITCH I'M GETTING PREGNANT." naloni said giggling and stumbling.

"not me.." mimi said hiccuping and walking to the car.

out of the 3, she was the least drunk so she functioned better.

after analeya situated sai in her seat she released a breath she didn't know she was holding and thanked God.

leya got in the car and drove towards her house while glancing at sai'elle every couple minutes.

"i missed you analeya."

a few seconds later all you heard was light snores and that sound alone made leya tear up.

"i missed you so much more ma." analeya said smiling and rubbing sai'elles thigh.
