today i was meeting sai'elles family and not gonna yieee, i was scared as shit.

it was a lil get together already happening and sai kinda just ran the idea by them and everybody was all for it.

i kinda already met them, not everybody but i met emoni, naloni, amari, kali, and semaj. but i didn't know everybody else and i don't know what to do. i'm scared because i don't know what she did or didn't tell them or if they are accepting.

she's letting me meet her mom, baby father, and grandfather. naloni, amari, kali, and semaj will be here as well. also her baby father folks will be here.

it's not too many people to me because that's the important people in her and emoni's life so it's cool, i'm just scared what they gon think.

they all downstairs already, i'm lowkey stalling because a bitch scared.

i looked in the mirror to see if i looked presentable and i think i did. i have on baggy jeans with dunks on and my shirt is a long sleeved black shirt.

i walked downstairs and all the attention was on me.

"oh fuck no i'a go upstairs right now." i said in my head.

"hey everyone."

"everyone this is my girlfriend analeya. baby this is my mom anita, my grandfather paul."

"hi analeya, it's nice to see you baby. you joyce granddaughter? anita said hugging me.

"yes i am, she told me she knows yall."

they walked out and went out back to talk with the other guests and eat.

sai'elle went with them to get tristan's family, so i was just standing here.

a few minutes later, i heard the sliding door and seen her walk in with them so i stood up so they could sit.

now it was just me, sai'elle, and tristan's folks.

"now this is emonis dad tristan and his momma debbie, his grandma leanne, his dad anthony, and his grandfather christian. they are my second family. i love them down."

"wassup." tristan said to analeya.

they walked out back as well to finish enjoying the cookout.

sai'elle laughed at me and i shot her a look.

"she laughing as if she not next tomorrow."

poppa christian walked outside and now it was just us three.

"y'all 2 come with me downstairs."

me and tristan both followed behind sai downstairs.

i looked at tristan and he looked at me.

"we genuinely just bestfriends. i don't regret my daughter, that's my lil twin but i wish we woulda been friends first because we definitely better as bestfriends. i still got love for her, she brought me my child but this is strictly friends."

"ight that's cool, i fuck with that and i understand that. i wouldn't want y'all to be beefing or nun and i love sai'elle and emoni so i definitely am on the same page as you." i said as he nodded at me.

"okay so we good?" sai'elle asked.

i laughed at them both, honestly if i didn't know them. i'd think they were brother and sister.

i love the way everybody is calm and welcoming, i was scared for nothing.

as i walked out in the backyard with them and was instantly hugged.

when i looked down, i saw emoni and i immediately picked her up.

"hi moni." i said spinning around with her in my arms.

"hi leya! i missed you." she said while giggling and holding onto my neck.

"i missed you too moni."

"okay i go play now."

i took that as my cue to put her down, not before giving her $20 and then i walked off to go sit down.

"wassam bro. hey sis." i said as i dapped up amari and hugged naloni.

the rest of the night was spent with everybody talking and having a good time.

after 3 more hours, everybody started heading out and then it was just me sai'elle and emoni.

emoni was in bed already, she had a long day so sai'elle bathed her and as soon as her head hit the pillow she was sleep.

i took a shower and waited for sai'elle to be done with hers.

"so how was it?" sai'elle asked coming out the bathroom and laying on the bed.
