Vol. 1 Ch. 138
Shut Up, Malevolent Dragon! I Don’t Want to Have Any More Children With You
After dinner, the two little dragon girls helped Leon move. In reality, he didnât have much to move since he originally came aiming to take over the Silver Dragon Temple, and nobody told him he was supposed to âsettle downâ here.
His clothes and some daily necessities were all bought by Rosvitha for him. The most valuable item he had was his black-gold battle chariot, but it was currently locked in Rosvithaâs warehouse. Other than these, there wasnât much else.
Each of the daughters carried two storage boxes and walked out of the nursery one after the other. After confirming that the daughters had left, Leon looked at Rosvitha.
âYou told me last night not to enter your room after seven, but today weâre going to live together. Oh well, life, every day is full of surprises.â
Rosvitha crossed her arms and glanced at him, knowing he was deliberately teasing her, but fortunately, the queen had long mastered the ability to counterattack.
âAgreeing to live together doesnât mean anything. I just donât want to disappoint our daughters. But youââ
Leon raised an eyebrow. âMe? What about me?â
âHmph, you look so happy. What, do you enjoy sleeping in the same room with me so much?â
âClose enough, Puxin Dragon, Iâm just doing it for our daughters.â
Sure enough, in any aspect, their daughters were the shield for this pair of hapless couple.
After exchanging a few words, Leon also took a storage box, opened the drawer of the desk, and put away several books and the letter that the master had given him before.
Oh, of course, there was also the toy bear on the table that Rosvitha had given him when they were in the Flowing Cloud Valley, which he also put into the storage box. After packing up, he and Rosvitha stood at the door, surveying this small nursery room.
Sighâ
Having lived here for so long, suddenly moving out, thereâs still a bit of reluctance in my heart. After all, many âunforgettableâ things have happened in this nursery room.
How was that phrase said again? âThe small house may be tiny, but it creates legends!â After sighing slightly, the two of them left the nursery room and locked the door.
When they returned to Rosvithaâs room, the two little ones had already bravely volunteered to prepare for their parentsâ cohabitation.
First was the clothes, as the two of them were going to share a wardrobe from now on. They stood in front of the large wardrobe, discussing where each piece should go.
The couple stood silently on the side, watching this scene without instructing their daughters on what to do, giving them full autonomy to figure it out on their own.
The intention was to respect their daughtersâ thoughts and foster their independence, but when Muen started rummaging through the wardrobe, Rosvithaâs expression suddenly changed.
Leon keenly caught onto this, âWhatâs wrong?â
âOh no⦠Muen, waitââ
But it was too late to stop her. Muen held up a black corset bodysuit in one hand and a pair of black stockings in the other, turning around and asking blankly, âMom, is this some new type of pajamas?â@@novelbin@@
Leon looked at the clothes in his daughterâs hands and instantly guessed what they were. Well⦠from a certain perspective, they were indeed pajamasâ because pajamas are what you wear when you sleep, right?
Rosvitha chuckled awkwardly, quickly walked over, took the bunny girl set from Muenâs hand, and then hid it behind her back. âN-nothing, just some old clothes I was planning to throw away.â
Muen nodded and turned around to continue hanging clothes with her sister. Leon stepped forward, slightly leaning to Rosvithaâs ear and whispered, âItâs been a long time since the bunny girl thing, hasnât it?â
Rosvitha gave him a glare. âWhat are you trying to say?â
Leon shrugged, gesturing towards the bunny girl costume in her hand. âIf you really wanted to throw it away, would you still have kept it until now?
Hmm, Mother Dragon, could it be that youâre still not satisfied with our last bunny girl play?â
âKeep talking nonsense, and Iâll use these socks to shut your mouth,â Rosvitha threatened through gritted teeth.
Leon instinctively recoiled, raising his hand to his mouth, making a gesture of locking it.
As they continued rummaging, Noia suddenly turned around holding a strange uniform. âMom, is this also some new type of pajamas?â
In the eldest daughterâs hand was a pure white uniform with a red cross on it. This time, Leon was left speechless, while Rosvitha struggled to suppress her laughter.
âWell, just leave it there. Mom might~~â She glanced at the Dragon Slayer beside her, who happened to be looking at her too. The coupleâs gazes quickly met, Rosvitha snorted lightly, withdrew her gaze, and then spoke meaningfully, âMom might~ still~ find~ a~ use~ for~ it~â
âOh, okay.â Noia nodded and turned back, neatly stacking the nurse uniform aside.
Rosvitha glanced sideways at Leon again, then stuck out her tongue and made a silly face at him. Leon rolled his eyes at her, hands in his pockets, remaining silent.
The daughters continued organizing the wardrobe.
Both husband and wife couldnât help but feel a bit nervous, wondering if they would come across any other play props, like a mini whip, high heels, blindfolds, or anything like thatâ¦
âWow!!â Muen exclaimed.
The coupleâs hearts skipped a beat with that sudden cry. Please, let it not be something too inappropriate for children!
âItâs couplesâ pajamas!â Muen exclaimed.
The sisters turned around, each holding a set of pajamas. Both sets were identical, just that Noiaâs was pink while Muenâs was blue. Upon seeing this, the couple breathed a sigh of relief.
It was the coupleâs pajamas they had bought for their last date in the Sky City for Noiaâs âParental Loveâ essay, but they hadnât worn them yet.
To them, a couple pajamas were like prison uniforms! They wouldnât wear them, not even if you threatened them!
However, someone had a different opinion.
âAfter you guys start living together, can you wear these couple pajamas every day?â Muen asked excitedly.
Rosvitha nodded, âAh⦠yeah, sure.â
âThatâs great~â Muen expressed her excitement.
But Noia felt like her parents were just fooling them. She remembered that they bought those pajamas on the day she wrote her essay, which was a long time ago.
But over such a long period of time, the pajamas had been sitting in the closet in Rosvithaâs room, with the tags still attached.
This indicated that they hadnât worn them at all. So, it was highly unlikely that they would start wearing them just because they switched from separate rooms to cohabiting.
Noiaâs clever eyes turned, and she had an idea. However, instead of directly asking her parents to wear the pajamas, she silently put them away.
When Leonâs clothes and daily necessities were almost neatly organized, and the couple was about to breathe a sigh of relief, Noia suddenly asked, âMom and Dad, youâll keep living together forever, right?â
The couple was taken aback, looking at each other, unsure why Noia asked this. But Leon nodded, âYeah, Mom and I will keep living together, to take care of her.â
Noia nodded thoughtfully, âOkay, I understand.â With that, she took her sisterâs hand, âThen, we wonât disturb Mom and Dadâs cohabitation life anymore. Goodnight~â
âGoodnight, Mom and Dad!â After saying goodnight, the two little ones held hands and hurriedly left Rosvithaâs room.
Leon was puzzled, âWhat did she mean just now?â
Rosvitha frowned slightly, âI donât know⦠I can never guess Noiaâs thoughts. Well, anyway, weâve fulfilled our daughterâs wish, moved in together, soââ
Rosvitha turned around, pointing at the sofa, âFrom today, thatâs your bed.â
Did cohabitation mean they had to sleep in the same bed? In such a big room, couldnât they just sleep wherever? There were always more solutions than difficulties.
Leon had anticipated that Rosvitha would make him sleep on the sofa after they started cohabiting. It didnât matter to him; heâd sleep wherever.
Itâs not like he was eager to sleep in the same bed as Rosvitha. Just the thought of it would give him nightmares!
But following his principle of ânot easily letting Mother Dragon have her way,â Leon said, âBut our daughter said I should take care of you. If we donât sleep together, how can I take care of you?â
âDo I need you to take care of me?â
âWell, you never know. What if you want a glass of water or need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, but then you open your eyes and ~~ encounter a spider or something⦠Tut tut tut~â
âShut up! Thereâs no way there would be a spider in my Silver Dragon Temple! And even if there was, I⦠I wouldnât let you onto my bed!â She didnât sound very confident as she said this.
âHehehe, so in your mind, Iâm even more annoying than a spider.â
âThatâs right!â
âOh, so⦠does that mean youâre admitting that Iâm in your heart?â
âWhat a cheesy pick-up line, Casmode, youâre not even close to grossing me out.â
Great, a back-and-forth banter of equals was their first thing after moving in together. What a good start.
After exchanging a few words, Leon walked to the edge of the bed, grabbed his blanket, and threw it onto the sofa. Then he placed the toy bear on the back of the sofa chair.
The abode of the married, cohabiting, children-having but still single gentleman was now complete.
Rosvitha glanced at him, didnât say anything, and went straight to bed, pulling back the covers and settling in.
As the night deepened, moonlight filtered through the windows. The cohabitation life of the strongest dragon slayer and the Silver Dragon Queen officially began tonight.
