Vol. 1 Ch. 163
Shut Up, Malevolent Dragon! I Don’t Want to Have Any More Children With You
The doctors examined Rosvithaâs body and, after confirming no adverse reactions, left behind several doses of medicine to expedite her recovery and some postpartum care instructions before departing.
The two little dragon girls also stopped their gossiping and eagerly approached the bedside to see their new sister.
âSheâs so tiny! Feels like she could be punched far away,â Noiaâs tone was quite serious.
Leon knew she was emphasizing the babyâs âsmallness,â but the wording was a bit too⦠draconic.
âOh dear sister, donât scare the little one,â Muenâs gaze fell on the baby, adding, âOne punch might not be enough, it might take two.â
Alright, alright, you two just bully the little sister who canât understand what youâre saying right now. If she could understand, youâd probably get a spanking with the cord just cut off.
In the bedroom at this moment, Rosvitha lay on her side on the bed; Leon held the baby and sat on the edge of the bed; the two daughters stood on either side of Leon.
A family of five was quite harmonious.
Muen tiptoed and gently pinched the little sisterâs cheek.
Soft and chubby, with a hint of baby scent.
Muenâs eyes sparkled with an idea. âSister, Mom, Dad, letâs give little sister a name!â
âWhat name does Muen want to give to her little sister?â Leon asked.
During their pregnancy, he and Rosvitha had also thought about the name for their second baby. But they never found a suitable one.
Until now, the baby has landed, and we still havenât figured out this name. But since Muen brought it up, why not brainstorm together as a family?
Muen blinked her beautiful eyes, touched her chin, pondered for a moment, and said, âLetâs call her Star~ Muenâs name means âmoon,â so itâs reasonable for the little sister to be called Star~â
Reasonable⦠indeed, itâs quite reasonable. But whether itâs the word âstarâ itself or using some other homophones, it doesnât seem quite suitable for a princessâs formal name. A nickname might barely work.
âStar isnât quite right,â Noia said.
Muen pouted, âThen sister, what name do you suggest?â
âWell⦠since my name comes from the ancient hero of the dragon clan âNoahâ in English, for the little sister, letâs choose a homophone of another hero.â
Noia thought for a moment and said, âHow about⦠Blaze?â
Muen, with a serious face, evaluated, âThat sounds like a barbarianâs name, sister.â
âWhereâs the barbarian in that?â@@novelbin@@
âItâs totally barbaric, not as good as my star.â
âBlaze!â
âStar!â
âBlaze!â
âStar~~~â
The sisters simultaneously turned to look at Leon.
âDad!â
âHuh? Uh⦠whatâs up?â
Leon startled, almost dropping the little daughter in his arms.
âDad, which one do you think is better, Star or Blaze?â
Leon pursed his lips, actually thinking both names were quite ordinary. Just as he had thought earlier, âStarâ didnât have much meaning, and its pronunciation wasnât suitable as a name.
As for âBlaze,â setting aside whether it sounded barbaric or not, it simply didnât sound like a girlâs name at all.
However, he didnât want to dampen the enthusiasm of his two daughters, so he glanced at Rosvitha for help.
The queen naturally understood the thoughts of her captives. After a momentâs thought, she addressed the two daughters, âNaming is a very important matter. Your father and I couldnât decide even after thinking for a long time, so we canât be hasty now.â
Muen shyly leaned towards her sister, playing with her fingers and said, âWe understand, Mom.â
Noia gently tugged at Muenâs little tail, rubbed her cheek, and considered the harmless little sister quarrel earlier resolved.
With age and experience, even they couldnât avoid having differences in opinions. But that wasnât a big deal. It was good that her daughters had independent thoughts. And as twin sisters, they wouldnât actually fight.
Leon and Rosvitha trusted their daughtersâ moral character.
âAlthough we havenât figured out the name yet, could you girls help Mom and Dad by telling us, does our little sister look more like Dad or Mom?â Leon timely changed the subject.
Of course, he redirected it to the less contentious topic between him and Rosvitha.
Rosvitha lay on the bed, rolling her eyes in silence. It was only because she was a bit weak at the moment that she didnât have the energy to argue with him.
Otherwise, when it came to this matter, the Silver Dragon Queen would never yield! Dragon genes were the coolest!
âThe baby has just been born, so itâs hard to tell who she looks like for now,â Rosvitha paused, then as if remembering something, she added, âBut you can take a look at her⦠tail~â
Leonâs body stiffened, âTailâ¦?â
Seeing his reaction, Rosvitha smiled satisfactorily, âYes, a tail. Our little daughter has a super~~ cute dragon tail~â
Leon still remembered the first time he argued with Rosvitha about whether Noia and Muen looked more like him or her. He had logically presented various physical features of their baby daughters, thinking it would make the dragoness admit they looked more like him.
But what was the result? Rosvitha simply said, âThey have tails,â and that completely disarmed Leon.
So during Rosvithaâs pregnancy, Leon had diligently exposed his unborn daughter to human culture through prenatal education, hoping that after birth, she would have more human characteristics. But in the end, did dragon genes still dominate?
NO!!
âDaddy~ Daddy~ Let us see our little sisterâs tail too~â Muen excitedly bounced a couple of times.
Leon sighed inwardly. A tail was just a tail. But if there was a third child in the future, they would definitely restore human glory!
With that thought, Leon carefully placed his daughter on the bed and then slowly uncovered the blankets wrapped around her.
Once uncovered, the trio saw a short tail wriggling beneath the babyâs lumbar spine, resembling a large cocoon â the most straightforward comparison a human like Leon could come up with.
After all, he had never grown a tail himself. Muen and Noia leaned over the edge of the bed, tiptoeing to get a better look at their little sisterâs tail.
Muenâs eyes were almost sparkling, and her mouth formed an âOâ shape from her sisterâs tail cuteness.
âSo adorable! I want to touch!â
She slowly reached out her hand, extending her index finger to gently poke the babyâs tail. It was soft and supple, with a cute texture. As Muen touched it, the tail twitched slightly, and the baby let out a low hum.
âWow~~ So much fun~~â Muen applauded.
But Leon frowned as he looked at his youngest daughterâs tail. âThe color⦠Why is it different from Noiaâs and Muenâs?â
Noia and Muen both had silver tails like Rosvitha. But their youngest daughterâs tail was more⦠pink?
Half an hour ago, when the doctor brought the cleaned baby to Rosvithaâs side after cutting the umbilical cord, she also noticed this, but she thought it was a lighting issue. But now, it was morning, and the babyâs tail still seemed pink?
âLet me see.â Rosvitha said.
Leon brought the baby to Rosvithaâs pillow. Looking down, indeed, the tail was pinkish.
âBut itâs not pure pinkâ¦â
Rosvitha gently pinched the tip of the babyâs tail, where there were a few small red scales. She murmured, âItâs more like⦠diluted red.â
Red?
Leon startled, suddenly realizing something.
At the same time, a maid came to report from outside, âYour Majesty, Your Highness, Princess Isabella has arrived.â
