Vol. 1 Ch. 168
Shut Up, Malevolent Dragon! I Don’t Want to Have Any More Children With You
After dinner, Rosvitha asked her two daughters to stay behind and then solemnly said, âNoia, Muen, tonight Iâm entrusting you with a task.â
The two little dragon girls perked up immediately upon hearing there was a task at hand.
âMom, whatâs the task?â Noia asked.
Rosvitha returned to the bedroom, brought out the youngest daughter, and carefully handed her over to Noiaâs arms. Noia felt a little flustered, though it wasnât her first time holding her little sister. âMom, is thisâ¦â
âTonight, your little sister will sleep with you to foster the bond between you three sisters,â Rosvitha explained.
Noia glanced down at her sleeping sister in her arms and nodded, âThatâs fine, Muen and I have been wanting to sleep with her anyway.â
âYay~ Tonight I get to sleep with Xiang Xiangâs little sister, so happy~â
âShh~â Noia quickly lifted her tail and used the tip as a finger to gesture âquietâ near her sisterâs mouth. âDonât wake her up.â
Muen nodded obediently, pinching her sisterâs tail gently.
Rosvitha clapped her hands. âAlright, now that the task is clear, make sure to execute it well.â
âYes, Mom!â
Noia settled her little sister in her arms and turned to her younger sister.
âMuen, letâs go.â
âYes, sister!â
Dragon sisters, special forces (with kids), move out!
The two little ones marched out of their motherâs room in perfect sync, one after the other.
Leon sat at the dining table, nibbling on a piece of bread while silently enjoying the spectacle before him.
He noticed that Rosvitha had truly changed.
From the stern and serious âLady Motherâ who rarely smiled at the beginning, she had transformed into the âgentle motherâ who could now amuse the children and engage them in various family affairs with her interesting words and gestures.@@novelbin@@
Although in the eyes of her subordinates, the queen was still the workaholic queen, privately, she had become completely different from before.
Such a transformation was indeed unexpected for Leon. In his impression, the Dragon Clan had always been a group of stubborn and autocratic individuals.
He hadnât expected Rosvitha to undergo such a noticeable change in just a year.
Humph, see that, Mother Dragon? Compared to your Dragon Clanâs outdated and rigid educational principles, our human ideals are far ahead. Enough to take you twenty years to catch up.
And Rosvithaâs subtle transformation had also influenced her daughtersâ changes.
Especially Noia.
Although the eldest daughter still demanded excellence from herself with high intensity and standards, she had long ceased to be as closed off as she was when Leon first met her, afraid to reveal her true feelings and emotions, only able to reach out to others through repeated trials.
However you look at it, this family was indeed developing towards a better direction.
Thinking of this, Leon sighed with relief, âThe daughters are understanding, they know to share the hardships of life with Mom and Dad.â
Rosvitha, with her back to him, let out a cold laugh, saying nothing.
Leon was taken aback, somewhat puzzled by her cold laugh.
Was there something wrong with what he saidâ¦
Gulp⦠Why do I have a bad feeling about this?
âLeon,â Rosvitha still had her back to him.
Leon swallowed hard and shifted on his seat, âW-what is it?â
âThe other day, defeating Constantine must have been tough on you,â Rosvitha said as she slowly turned around.
A seductive smile adorned her face, a cute dimple at the corner of her lips, her silver eyes locked onto Leonâs as she took slow steps toward him.
Leon lowered his gaze, focusing on her dainty ankles peeking out from beneath her skirt.
Her steps were slow, but Leonâs heartbeat quickened.
The Dragon Slayer radar buzzed incessantly.
Years of accumulated experience made Leon instantly realize what Rosvitha intended to do.
He slowly stood up, then circled around to the back of the chair, facing off against Rosvitha with the chair between them.
âI warn you, Mother Dragon, the book says after childbirth, itâs recommended to abstain from intercourse for at least two months, as it can cause significant harm to the womanâs body.â
Rosvitha raised an eyebrow, âWhat book are you reading?â
ââPostnatal Care for Mother Dragons.'â
Wrong. He hadnât actually read that book at all.
The âat least two months of abstinenceâ referred to human females, not beings as robust as Rosvitha.
Rosvitha chuckled leisurely, realizing Leon had poured all his cleverness into dragon slaying.
If he thought about it carefully, heâd realize that since she dared to make a move like this, she must have done some research on post-pregnancy health education.
For a being as large as a dragon, they could usually recover in about two or three days after a smooth childbirth.
âWhatâs with this âat least two monthsâ nonsense? Iâve never heard of it!â
âAlright, Leon, since youâve figured out what I want to do, stop resisting, be a good boy.â
âYou⦠Youâve seen my strength when I killed Constantine. Let me tell you, just because youâre my childâs mother doesnât mean Iâll show you any mercy.â
âAww, Iâm so scared~ Dragon Slayer, please be gentle with me, okay?â
Rosvitha said with exaggerated playfulness, but then swiftly changed her expression to a mischievous smirk.
âTsk, if you really had the ability you did when you killed Constantine, would you need to bargain with me here? Youâd have knocked me out already and peacefully spent the night.â
Uh-oh.
His little scheme had been mercilessly exposed by Rosvitha.
Wait, wasnât it said that pregnancy made one less sharp for three years?
How come she wasnât just as naive, but even smarter than before pregnancy?
After failing to convince her through coaxing or reasoning, Leon attempted to appeal to reason, âThis doesnât make sense, Rosvitha. I havenât done anything wrong today, why do you⦠why do you want to⦠to do this to me?â
But the queen just snorted, âDo you know how long itâs been since we played the game of queen and captive? Six months and seven days! Do you know how Iâve spent these six months?â
âYou⦠Whatever you want to do, itâs none of my business! If a male like me can endure it, why are you, a female, so addicted?â
âItâs not addiction, Leon, itâs the queenâs desire for conquest.â
âFirst time Iâve heard someone describe submitting a homework assignment as an addiction in such a refreshing way.â
âStop babbling. Look at how youâre mouthing off now. Iâve let you go for six months, and you dare talk to me like this. If it were any longer, you might even try to take my throne. So, I need to discipline you in time, to make you understand our familyâs status.â
Leon closed his eyes and sighed in resignation, rubbing his forehead, âGrind the inkstone to kill the donkey, grind the inkstone to kill the donkey! If I had known, I wouldâve left Constantine alive, waited for him to come back for revenge, and dealt with you then!â
âOh? Since you put it that way, I might have to reward my guardian even more, donât I?â
ââ¦Thereâs no escaping it now, is there?â
The queen narrowed her eyes and smiled, âVery clever, my dear.â
With things having come to this point, it seemed he had to submit to tonightâs assignment. But even so, Leon would rather die standing than kneel!
With determination, Leon gritted his teeth and stomped his foot, pushing aside the chair between him and Rosvitha, striding towards her.
Before Rosvitha could react, Leon pressed her shoulder and pinned her against the wardrobe.
Rosvitha was slightly startled, looking into the black eyes so close to hers, her heart skipping a beat.
Hmm, after such a long time, she had indeed grown rusty, to be taken by surprise by this man.
âSo, itâs the queenâs desire for conquest, the family status, and how youâve spent these six months, huh?â
Leon held Rosvithaâs wrists, slowly lifting her arms and finally pressing her wrists against the top of her head.
Their faces were close, their noses touching lightly, breaths mingling, eyes locked.
Rosvithaâs eyes were seductive, continuously teasing Leonâs lips with her fiery kisses.
âSo, whatâs it going to be? What are you going to do to me?â
