Vol. 2 Ch. 52
Shut Up, Malevolent Dragon! I Don’t Want to Have Any More Children With You
âDaddy, why do you look even worse? Is the Dragon Strength not working?â Aurora asked, her face full of concern.
Leon was at a loss for words.
*Sweetie, itâs not that the Dragon Strength isnât workingâit might be working *too* well, and your dad might not be able to handle it...*
No.
It wasnât just that *he* couldnât handle it.
Rosvisser probably wouldnât be able to either.
Thinking this, Leon glanced at Rosvisser.
She was still watching with amusement, apparently forgetting the last time they dealt with the chaos Dragon Strength caused. That wasnât exactly a pleasant experience for her, either.
Rosvisser, too, found herself caught between laughter and tears.
The good news: their youngest daughter was a born genius, mastering the art of concocting Dragon Strength by just four months oldâsurpassing 99.9% of adults. Who wouldnât marvel at such a half-human, half-dragon prodigy?
The bad news: her father had become the unwitting test subject for this genius, the so-called âDragon Strength body.â Leon, a man whose life was filled with both glory and absurdity, now found at least two-thirds of his life's drama coming from the little girls he cherished so much.
Leon thought *Moonâs* sneaking treats from the offering table had been the peak of chaos, but now *Aurora* had upped the ante, leaving her father completely defeated.
âItâs fine,â Rosvisser said quickly, trying to smooth things over. âDragon Strength is a wonderful supplement for dragons, but the effects just havenât kicked in yet.â
She turned to the three little ones and reassured them, âOnce the effects set in, Daddy will sweat it out tonight, and by tomorrow morning, heâll be back to his energetic self. So, donât worry.â
âReally, Mommy?â Noa asked, doubtful.
She couldnât shake the feeling that her fatherâs expressionâone that seemed to say *âdonât save me, Iâm done forâ*âwasnât something that could be fixed by simply sweating it out.
Rosvisser sighed internally.
She really wasnât great at lying to her daughters.
Was she supposed to explain that their father was about to lose it, and things were about to get, well, very unsuitable for children? Of course not.
Rosvisser steeled herself and said, âOf course itâs true. I promise, once the supplement kicks in, Daddy will be fine after a good nightâs sleep.â
With that assurance, the girls seemed to relax a little.
âOkay, Daddy, make sure you get plenty of rest tonight!â Moon said as she stood beside the bed, gently shaking Leonâs wrist.
*Rest? Sweetheart, I doubt Daddy will be resting at all tonight.*
âYeah... Daddy knows,â Leon replied weakly.
âAlright, itâs getting late. You girls should head to bed now, too. Tomorrow, you can play with a fully recovered Daddy, right?â Rosvisser said, trying to quickly get the little dragons out of the room.
Dragon Strength had quite the potent effect, and once it kicked in, things could get pretty intense.
âOkay! Goodnight, Mommy! Goodnight, Daddy! Get some good rest!â they chorused.
âGoodnight...â Leon mumbled.
The three little ones left the room one after the other, and Rosvisser escorted them to the door before locking it behind them.
By the time she returned to the bedroom, Leon was already sitting up in bed, leaning against the headboard.
His face was noticeably redder than before, but his eyes were becoming clearer.
No, not clearer.
More... *excited*.
Seeing this, Rosvisserâs knees went weak, and even her tail instinctively curled slightly.
The first time heâd taken Dragon Strength, on that wild, stormy night, was a memory sheâd never forget.
Back then, she had pushed Leon too far with her teasing, leading him to impulsively activate the Dragon Strength. What followed was pure madness.
But this time, he was already sick with a coldâsurely that would dampen the effects of the supplement, right?
Hesitant, Rosvisser slowly approached the bed and extended her tail toward Leon.
âHere, want to play with it?â
She remembered how, the last time he went berserk, heâd clung to her tail, calling her his wife the whole time.
This time, she decided to take the initiative, hoping to soothe him like a child before things escalated.
Leon rolled his eyes, about to snap back at her for treating him like a child.
But strangely, a voice whispered in his mind:
âGrab it, grab it, grab it.â
Leon frowned, tapping his head in an attempt to dispel the strange urge.
But it didnât work.
âGrab it.â
âGrab it.â
âGrab it.â
Annoyed, Leon clicked his tongue, and before he realized it, his hand had already grabbed the tip of Rosvisserâs tail.
It was cold, soft, and smoothâan incredibly pleasant sensation.
Startled, Leon quickly tried to explain, âI-I didnât mean to! My body just moved on its own...â
Still being stubborn.
Rosvisser crossed her arms, watching him with amusement. âYouâre gripping my tail and saying you didnât mean to? Not very convincing.â
At her words, Leon tried to let go.
But his hand seemed glued to her tail, refusing to release. The cool, silky feel was just too comforting for his feverish state.
Simply holding it wasnât enough anymore.
Staring at the long, silver tail in his hand, Leon swallowed.
Then, under Rosvisserâs slightly shocked gaze, he gently pressed the tail against his burning forehead, letting out a satisfied sigh.
*The Silver Dragon brand ice packâyouâve got to try it.*
Rosvisser smirked, her tone slightly disdainful. âShould I be thankful youâre not trying to put it in your mouth?â
âWife...â
*Oh no.*
The term âwifeâ was always a sign of Leon going into full-on crazy mode.
âYour tail is so cool and smooth. It feels so good.â
âDo you like it?â
âI love it.â
âWell, if you love it, just keep holding it and donât do anything else, okay~?â
âYes, maâam!â
Soothing a sick child was something any mother of three could easily manage.
Letting Leon play with her tail was definitely better than whatever *else* he might want to do.
After all, even though he was sick, he still had the enhancement from the Nine Infernal Gates. Rosvisser wasnât about to test what Leon was capable of in that state.
She didnât want to end up dealing with the infamous â42-degree flaming club.â
Rosvisser sat on the edge of the bed.
Leon continued to play with her tail, holding it close like a treasured toy.
After a while, the fool asked, âWife, your tail is so fun. Why donât I have one?â
Rosvisser snorted. âI offered to get you one before, but you didnât want it. And now you want one? Too bad!â
Just because he wanted it didnât mean sheâd give it to him.@@novelbin@@
He was too spoiled as it was.
But Leon, in his slightly crazed state, didnât push the matter further. Instead, he suddenly fell silent.
Rosvisser didnât find this odd.
After all, under the effects of Dragon Strength, Leonâs mind worked in unpredictable ways, like a frog hopped up on some powerful drug. She could never guess what leap of logic heâd make next.
âWife.â
âWhat?â
âLove you~â came the sweet words from her delirious husband.
âMm. Love you too,â she replied with an utterly flat tone.
âWife, look at me.â
âWhy?â
Rosvisser, arms still crossed, sat at the edge of the bed, staring straight ahead without turning toward Leon.
âLook at me, look at me, hurry!â Leon urged.
Sighing, Rosvisser slowly turned her head to face him.
Leon raised his arm above his head, forming a large heart shape with his hand, and gave her a big, goofy smile.
âLove you~ Wife~â
Normally, you couldnât pay Leon to do something so childish or romantic.
Watching this ridiculous display, Rosvisser couldnât help but laugh.
But she quickly composed herself, humming dismissively, âTch, such a child.â
âYou do it, too, Wife.â
âNo.â
âCome on, do it!â
*Come on.*
At this point, he was already under the effects of Dragon Strength. Why not just go along with it?
Rosvisser closed her eyes, sighed, and reluctantly copied Leonâs pose, raising her arm to form a giant heart above her head.
âLove you~â she said sweetly.
âAnd what else?â
âWhat else?â
âYou have to add a title after âlove you.ââ
His thought process was like an exaggerated version of Moonâs, yet still filled with Leonâs clueless stubbornness.
Clearly, their daughters had inherited some of their parentsâ quirks.
So, what could she do?
Just play along.
Rosvisser sighed again, forming the heart and speaking in an overly sweet tone, âLove you~ Husband~â
After saying it, she instantly dropped the act, her voice cold, âHappy now?â
Leon nodded. âHappy.â
Rosvisser rolled her eyes and stood up. âGive me back my tail for a momentâI need to use the bathroom.â
She expected Leon to let go of her tail.
But instead, he suddenly yanked her back onto the bed, pulling her close with his
grip on her tail.
âHey, what are youââ
Before she could finish, the dragon markings on her chest began to glow faintly.
âDamn it... Is it really going to come to this?â
âDragoness.â
Leonâs voice came from beside her, radiating heat.
Rosvisser turned her head slowly to look at him.
He had already taken off his shirt, his chest glowing with the same dragon markings as hers, crackling with blue sparks of electricity.
In that moment, the Silver Dragon Queen understood.
The 42-degree flaming club she feared wasnât just fire tonightâit came with a side of lightning as well.
