Shut Up, Malevolent Dragon! I Don’t Want to Have Any More Children With You
Leon realized he had reached a dead end.@@novelbin@@
âYouâre not as healthy as before,â Rosvitha commented.
âYou really pleased me with your performance last night. Keep it up,â She said.
His defenses crumbled in front of Rosvitha like paper. Once spoken, they shattered. Leon would rather engage in a three-hundred-round battle with this dragoness on a bloody battlefield than endure her mental attacks in bed all day.
Damn.
âThere wasnât a âResisting Pressureâ class at the Dragon Slayer Academy!â
Rosvitha patted Leonâs head, âAlright, tidy up. We still have to give Noia some extra lessons later.â
Leon moved his almost lifeless arms and legs, âMy body feels like itâs gone back to square one overnight. Letâs take a day off before the extra lessons.â
Rosvitha nodded, not forcing him, âAlright.â
So easygoing. It seemed she was truly satisfied last night.
Leon sighed inwardly again. The divine potion he had painstakingly crafted and all its effects were used.
Could she not be satisfied? Even if she was made of iron, she should be satisfied.
Rosvitha put away her playful demeanor and silently cleaned the chaotic room. Leon tapped his fingers, hesitated momentarily, and finally said to Rosvitha, âUh⦠do you remember the bet we made before? Letting the daughters call you âMomâ to see if they would be happier?â
Rosvitha temporarily paused her household chores, turned around, and said, âYeah, I remember. Have you figured out what you want to ask for?â
âWell, Iâve figured it out. Can you send someone to the Empire⦠to check on my master and masterâs wife?â
âI know the dragon race sends undercover agents to human countries, and youâve specifically trained individuals for such tasks, right?â
Rosvithaâs thoughts shifted slightly, and she replied, âInfiltration missions are not our Silver Dragon Clanâs strong suit. They are typically undertaken by dragons skilled in disguise. However, if itâs just to check on your master and masterâs wife, it shouldnât be a problem.â
Leonâs eyes lit up, âReally? Then, thank youâthank you so much.â
Rosvitha chuckled, âItâs rare to hear âthank youâ from an archenemy, huh?â
Leon turned his eyes away and didnât say anything more. Rosvitha continued her household chores in silence. Soon, the room would be cleaned up.
At that moment, Leon heard the sound of the door lock.
A few seconds later, two small figures entered the bedroom, one after the other.
âGood morning, Mom.â
âGood morning, Mom!â
âMorning, Noia, Muen.â
The two little ones looked towards Leon on the bed, ready to greet him, but noticed that Dadâs expression didnât seem right.
Muen recalled the incident with the âchocolate candyâ from yesterday.
Dad said it was medicine prepared for Mom, but Mom said actually it was because Dad wasnât feeling well, but he couldnât say it, so they had to pretend it was for her. Looking at it this way⦠Mom was right, after all!
Muen quickly ran to the bedside, her little face filled with concern, âDad, are you not feeling well?â
Leon looked at his little daughter in confusion, âUh⦠no, Iâm fine, just a bit tired.â
âI already know, Dad. Donât push yourself.â
Leon was shocked, âYou⦠what do you knowâ¦â
Saying that, he looked at Rosvitha.
It couldnât be that this dragon mother told the children, right?
Hey, have you lost your mind? How can you talk to a child about such things? Canât a dad have some dignity? He thought.
Upon hearing this, Noiaâs cold expression crossed her little face with a hint of worry. However, Noia didnât show it as prominently as Muen did. She just stood quietly on the side.
âDad, yesterday you said Mom was sick, but itâs you, right?â
Muen pinched Leonâs sleeve, her voice slightly teary, âMuen knows, Dad, men canât admit theyâre sick, but your face looks even worse now. Muen is really worried about you.â
âDonât cry, donât cry, Dad is fine.â
Leon quickly reached out, wanting to hug Muen in his arms, but his body was too weak. Even hugging a little dragon daughter was challenging.
Ultimately, Noia supported her sisterâs bottom from the side, allowing her to sit on Leonâs lap.
After helping out, Noia still stood indifferently to the side.
âDaddy, youâre lying to me. Youâre sick, and youâre not feeling well.â
Muen sniffled, âOh, right, didnât you prepare a pill yesterday? Did you take it?â
âYes, I took it.â
âIf you took the medicine, why arenât you feeling better, Daddy?â
Leon raised his hand to wipe away the teardrops from Muenâs eyes, smiling as he said, âDaddy is really fine. If something were wrong, I couldnât lie down and chat with you like this, right?â
He thought making a little joke would cheer up his little daughter as it did before, but Muen still wore a worried expression on her face.
âNo, if Daddyâs time is short, Muen wants to stay with Daddy all the time!â
âCome down, Muen. Iâll play with you, and we can come back to check on him later in the evening.â
âNo, if Daddyâs time is short, Muen wants to stay with Daddy all the time!â
âWhat short time? Donât use idioms randomly. Come down quickly. Heâs doing well. I promise heâll be lively and energetic when we have dinner together tonight.â
Muen blinked her beautiful big eyes, âReally, sister? Donât lie to Muen.â
âYeah, I didnât lie to you.â
âOkay, then, Daddy, rest well. Weâll have dinner together tonight.â
Leonâs face was full of black lines.
âWho understands family, right?â
