Thirster 2467: 7.
Thirster 2467
Marilyn stayed away from the scientists. She didn't want to be near them at all because of the dirty looks they were giving her and the attitude Dr. Sammis was giving her.
She stayed in the cafeteria where the workers eat lunch and she quietly went on her phone and read a book she's been reading for weeks.
While reading she couldn't concentrate at all. She was so angry at the scientists here who make her look like the bad guy. But all these years she liked when the vampires were in pain and all of a sudden she changed her mind?
Marilyn didn't really change her mind, Thirster 2467 changed her mind. There's something about him, something that makes her want to save him.
"I need to see him." She mumbles to herself while taking a large bite of the mashed potatoes on her fork. She can't let them keep on hurting him or he'll not trust her.
Thirster 2467 kept his eyes closed, reminiscing about the cold wind of Central Park brushing along his bare skin. It was dark out and no one was really in the park besides older teens or adults going for a late night run.
It was just another regular vampire life for him. He tried to find his perfect meal to feed then hide back in the shadows before the sunrises.
But others were behind his tail and he didn't sense it at all. Even though they were human they were still smart on what they were doing. He was fooled by the woman trying to seduce him.
He craved for her and followed to end her life but he never reached that point. She took him somewhere far and deep in the park where no one would dare to go at night. He hears the zoo not that far, the animals calling in the night.
It happened all at once. The armed men, the woman shooting him down. The large truck. The chains.
He snaps his eyes open and bares his sharp teeth to fear the person in front of him. Marilyn gasps, stepping back and tripping on her own feet.
When he realized who it is, he stops his snarling, slumping back in his seat silently.
"I-I'm sorry if I scared you." Marilyn chokes out and the vampire grinds his teeth together.
"You didn't scare me, I just have a habit of scaring people." He pauses, bringing his gaze to her face. "It's just amusing."
"Really? Because you didn't hear me walking in or coming in here at all."
"Why are you here? You got caught why chance it again."
"Because I need answers."
"There's no reason for me to give you answers. What things about my personal life is going to help you humans?" Marilyn shrugs, crossing her arms across your chest."
"What's your name?"
"What's your name?"
"You already know it."
"I know Marilyn. Such a beautiful name."
"So..." She carries on, ignoring the compliment. "Your name?"
"Not really important now. I barely use it."
"Oh come' on!" She grows frustrated and the vampire smirks at her reaction. He likes when she gets annoyed, there's something about it that's makes it entertaining.
"I already told you my name which made me think back of my human years so no." Marilyn tries to understand from his thick accent.
"What was wrong about your human years?" He frowns and looks away. He doesn't say a word besides clenching his hands into fists on the arms of the chair. Marilyn huffs out a sigh, deciding now whether she should tease him or not. "Fine, if you don't give me answers, you won't get something you really need."
She makes her way to the door so she can leave the brightly lit box but he turns, watching her. His mouth is gaped open and he's trying to say stop but he can't. There's something fighting in him which wants him to be strong but he can't. He breaks through and calls her name.
"Marilyn." She pauses when his beautiful accent calls her, clenching onto the knob of the door.
"What now." She growls back and he doesn't respond back for a while.
"What is it that you have." He pleads and she licks her lips. Eventually she turns back to him and stares at his figure. They hurt him badly today. They cut his stomach open to see his insides and besides stitching it back together, they let him heal on his own.
Even without blood to help him heal faster, his skin didn't heal all the way, so you see through the gashed shirt that it's still a freshly opened wound. And what she's offering will make his skin flawless again.
Marilyn walks back to him and stands right in front of him. He quietly watches her and she slowly takes out a pocket knife from her back pocket. She always has the pocket knife under the mattress of her bedroom but for tonight she needed it and slipped it in her pocket.
Thirster 2467 follows his gaze to the knife when she clicks it open. The sharp blaze pops out and she lifts her left arm in front of her. Marilyn takes a deep breath before running the sharp blade across her tender wrist. The blue veins split open and blood draws out of the cut.
The vampire gasps when she cuts through her flesh and his nostrils flare when the deep smell of blood hits him. He leans forward, the chains stopping him from attacking her and Marilyn takes a step back in fright. Her blood is so rich and dark, his mouth waters while watching it run down her pale arm.
Marilyn slips the knife back in her pocket and brings her other hand under her bloody wrist so it doesn't drip onto the ground. His fangs bare at her, a growl erupting his throat. He hasn't had such good warm sweet blood and hers is driving him crazy.
"Please please please." He begs and runs his tongue along his sharp teeth. Marilyn's heart pounds through her ribs and she takes a step closer to him when he sits back in his seat. He clenches his tight stomach that is in pain from the hunger he's been having.
"If you give me answers." He snaps his eyes to her face but he's still struggling to see her eyes because she has the glasses on. "Come' on are you really going to give up on this." She runs her finger along the blood that ran down her elbow. She smears it on her skin and she's starts to smell the rustic smell of it.
"Like we talked about Marilyn, trust is very strong."
"I will trust you if you tell me some things about you."
"No you won't" Marilyn grows frustrated again and squats down to be eye level with him. Without thinking she takes off the glasses and tosses them onto the ground. Thrister 2467 is shocked because he's never seen her without the glasses. Her eyes are beautiful, something that caught his attention. Her left eye is a dark forest green and her right eye is a hazel brown. She has two different color eyes.
It wasn't thirst that controlled him at the moment of staring at her, it was the small features on her face and the color eyes.
"I do trust you. I will never let any scientists know about you." She breathes and he stays quiet.
"Okay." He mumbles and she looks down at her bloody arm.
"I'll give you my blood but don't bite." She looks at his parted lips where she can see the tip of his fangs pinching his bottom lip.
"I won't." He seems as if he's in a daze, staring at her eyes and fluttering his own eyelids. Marilyn is nervous, she's scared if he will go against her and actually bite her or use his mind control on her now that she doesn't have the glasses on.
She inches her arm to his face and he parts his lips more. Eventually his mouth connects with her bloody wrist and he rolls his eyes back when his tongue touches the warm blood. She feels his fangs lightly graze her skin but he isn't biting, his teeth are kind of tickling her.
She feels his warm mouth suck on her skin, over the wound and across her flesh that was stained with blood. He groans in satisfaction and for some reason Marilyn's heart races. The way he's sucking her skin makes butterflies run in her stomach, something she has never felt.
Eventually he pulls away, his lips covered in her blood. He licks them clean and leans back in his seat, slowly opening his eyes.
"Pierce." He says, "My name is Pierce Vasiliev." His accent was thicker when he said his last name. "I was originally born in Russia but when I turned twenty I came to America." Marilyn stands up from squatting and takes out a bandanna that was wrapped around one of the loops from her jeans and wraps it around her wrist.
"What year."
"I came to America in nineteen thirty-two. It was the worst time to go because of the Great Depression but I had no other choice." He pauses and tries to think about his past life and grows furious. "I can't, no more."
"What do you mean."
"I can't say more. I can't talk about it."
"Why not."
"I just can't!" He screams and Marilyn gasps at his anger. They stare at each other until she looks away.
"Okay, I'll let you rest." She mumbles, heading to the door. She leaves the box and before shutting it, she hears something she thought she'd never hear from a vampire.
"Thank you." Pierce says and Marilyn locks the door, watching him through the window stare at the ground ahead of him.
