his line of sign stopped on the door of a black car.

“you’re being courteous now, master mu! this is our job that we should be doing.”

“alright, i won’t bother your work then. if there’s anything, just let us know when our cooperation is needed,” mu yuchen said, and then he looked back at su chen. “i’ll return to city z right away. are you coming along?”

shrugging, su chen followed after him.

all of them made their way straight for the airport without stopping.

the car was still speeding along the highway to the airport, and from the moment mu yuchen got into the car, he shut his eyes to rest. there were clear signs of fatigue between his brows. when su chen looked at him with the help of the light of the car, he could vaguely see his pale complexion.
