“Mmph!” One of the men in black suits felt a sharp pain on his shoulder and his movements were restricted. Everyone looked over and noticed that he had been ambushed!

“Ah Bao!” Ah Mo released a sigh of relief when he saw the man appear before him, filling his heart with joy.

“Bro Mo, Master Qi, are you guys alright?”

Ah Mo let go of the man as Ah Bao’s men entered the restaurant. The group quickly crowded the little place.

“We’re fine. Good timing there! These people...”

“Let’s leave!” When the group of assailants noticed that the situation had turned disadvantageous for them, they quickly fled the scene.

“Go after them!”

“Never mind. There’s no need!” Ah Mo stopped them before they took off. “They don’t know much anyway, so we won’t be able to get anything from them.”

“Are we just going to let them go?” Ah Bao sounded hesitant.

“Just let them be. We’ll eat something here before rushing back. I’ve got something to report to my brother.” Ah Mo then turned towards the restaurant owner who seemed confused. “Please get the dishes out quickly. We’re in a hurry.”

The owner nodded and quickly went to prepare the food.

“Are you guys alright? Master and the Minister were so worried!”

Ah Bao noticed that Qi Lei and Yang Sheng both seemed a little pale. Both of them were relieved to see Ah Bao, and they could finally relax a little.

“It’s a long story. We’ll talk again once we get back. What’s the situation in City Z now? How’s Lingshi doing?” He went straight to the point.

“Don’t worry. She’s doing fine. Master and Missus are taking good care of her. She just misses you a lot. Master and Missus were both worried sick. As for the situation in City Z, I think it’s better for the Master to tell you.”

The sky turned dark in the evening, making the whole city look gloomy.

When the black car stopped at the entrance of Fuhua Property, the passenger came out before the chauffeur could open the door. Mu Yuchen got out of the car.

“Chairman Mu!” The security guard at the entrance recognized him and quickly offered a greeting.

Mu Yuchen nodded and went inside as he casually adjusted the buttons on his sleeve. When he arrived at Xi Xiaye’s office, he walked in slowly as he noticed she was discussing something with her colleagues.

Considering that their son would come to the office from time to time, they had the floor covered with a thick rug, so walking on it made no sound. However, Xi Xiaye saw him walking over. He smiled at her and just sat quietly on the sofa while she continued to talk to the managers.

Xi Xiaye finally was done discussing matters with them after a while.

Mu Yuchen handed a cup of tea to her when she got closer to him. She emptied it instantly and handed the cup back to him.

“Feeling tired?” he chuckled and asked when he saw her lazy sitting posture.

“Of course, I didn’t even get to eat lunch today, so you have to cook something nice for me tonight.” Xi Xiaye stretched her back as she glanced at him.

He ran his fingers through her silky hair as he asked, “What do you want to eat? Can you leave now?”

“Just some usual homemade dishes. Everything you cook is delicious anyway. There should still be another half an hour to go, but since you’re here, I don’t mind. Let’s go and pick up Xiao Rui before heading over to the supermarket. There’s a lot to buy.”

She then started packing up.

The man was looking at her with warmth in his eyes. “Sure.”

His phone started ringing soon after that. It was Ah Bao. Mu Yuchen’s eyes brightened up as he quickly answered the call.

“Master?”

“It’s me,” he gave a brief reply.

“Master, we’ve found Bro Mo. I’ll let him talk to you.”

The voice on the other end switched.

“Brother, it’s me...”

Mu Yuchen was stunned for a moment when he heard the voice again after such a long time. He closed his eyes for a moment before replying, “I’m glad that you’re back. Please don’t say anything for now. Ask Ah Bao to bring you home for a check-up. Rest up before meeting me. Is Qi Lei with you?”

Taking a deep breath, Ah Mo felt a warm, fuzzy feeling inside him as he replied, “Yes, Brother! Master Qi and Yang Sheng are fine. They are here with me.”

“Great, get them to go with you as well. Ask Ah Bao to send you to see me after everything is done.”

“Yes, Brother! Thank you!”

“Rest well.” Mu Yuchen was finally relieved. Thank God he was alright...

“Have they been found?” Xi Xiaye looked over and asked.

He nodded. “Fortunately.”

With a smile, she looked outside the window and let out a sigh of relief.

This was great news for Mu Yuchen but was pretty much the opposite for someone else!

Inside a luxurious hotel room, Doris looked uneasy as she could not believe what she just heard.

“What did you say? Mu Lingmo and Qi Lei have been found by Mu Yuchen’s men?”
