Yang Sheng quickly took the file and looked through it before nodding to confirm.“Yes, Master Qi, I’ll send the orders as soon as possible. They’re still working overtime at the company tonight. The opening ceremony will be at noon tomorrow, but there are still many things that aren’t settled yet, so I’ll go take a look later,” Yang Sheng said as he stored the documents in his briefcase.

“I might still need to trouble you to take care of the matters there. After the opening ceremony, I’ll share a portion of the profits with all of you. It’s only two days away. It was just the father and son left in the living room. Qi Qiming’s assistant, Wang Chun, was waiting in the car outside.

Qi Qiming took a sip of tea and immediately tasted the bitterness in his mouth. He felt helpless but could not seem to find a better solution than this. While he was not satisfied with their way of communicating, it was still nice to be able to see his son.

Qi Lei paused when he heard Qi Qiming’s question. He lowered his head and looked at the cup in front of him quietly.

“Do you hate me?” he asked again while staring at Qi Lei with his deep gaze. “Do you hate me so much that you don’t even bother talking?”

Qi Lei sneered when he heard that and then broke into a smile. “I can’t even hate you. In fact, you don’t have to do this at all. I’ve told you, if you’re trying to gain something for Qi Feng, you can just be straightforward. I want to see for myself what else you guys want to take away from me. What else do I have that draws your interest?”

“Xiao Lei, you don’t have to think like that because I’m not doing this for Ah Feng. I might have been too eager and forceful before about the matter between you and Ah Feng without considering your feelings, but I don’t think any father would want to see his children falling out,” Qi Qiming said in a serious tone.

“Who do you think is the culprit of our falling out? You think that as long as I’m with Qi Feng, then we brothers can be in harmony. Let me ask you. Since we were kids, have I ever tried to fight with him over anything at all?
