In the office of the chairman of Glory World Corporation.After learning that Mu Yuchen was in the office, Qi Lei pushed the door open and walked in. He then lifted his eyes and looked inside. His eyes caught Mu Yuchen’s precious and impassive silhouette.

Mu Yuchen was wearing a dark, slim suit while standing in front of the French windows with his back facing the door. He was seen making a call. It was probably Xi Xiaye on the other end.

“Okay, let’s get off work earlier in the evening. I’ll pick you up. will you treat me to dinner?”

“Don’t worry about all that. Let’s cook at home. Your digestive system hasn’t been very healthy recently, mostly because we’ve been eating out these days. Alright, I’ve got to go. Someone’s here. Remember to get off work earlier this evening. I’ll wait for you downstairs.”

Mu Yuchen could also sense Qi Lei sitting down on the sofa behind him, so he left a few brief messages, then put the phone away and turned around slowly. Sure enough, he saw Qi Lei who had already sat down on the sofa leisurely, boiled water, and was planning to make tea.

Mu Yuchen squinted at him, then walked over unhurriedly and sat down opposite Qi Lei.

Qi Lei gave him a sidelong gaze and said unconcernedly, “I didn’t have high hopes for that matter. I just feel great whenever things aren’t going well for Qi Feng. What should I feel nervous about? I never thought about obtaining the Qi Kai Group. What’s yours will eventually be yours. If it’s not, it’s pointless forcing it,” Qi Lei coughed again and frowned as he said.

Mu Yuchen raised his eyebrows and glanced at Qi Lei in amazement. He then moved the freshly brewed chrysanthemum tea towards Qi Lei and smiled. “That’s quite an insight you have there. That does demonstrate the level of your perception and sensibility. I thought that you were still the same as before, still a person with a low IQ and EQ just like Xiaye.”

Feeling a little offended by Mu Yuchen’s judgemental gaze, Second Master frowned and shot him a glare. He thought about it for some time and said, “Bullsh*t! No matter how bad I am, I won’t be worse than your wife. I’m one of the highest-achieving students who graduated from the Department of Architecture. There’s no way that my IQ is low.”

Having heard that, Mu Yuchen laughed and coughed a little. He picked up his tea for a sip and continued laughing. “Wow, that’s impressive, but from what I can see, you’re still a fledgling who has just gotten its wings. You need to settle for a while before you can spread them and fly off.”

“You’re just boasting. There’s something that even you, Mu Yuchen, are inferior to me in.” Qi Lei gave Mu Yuchen a sideways glance before he picked up his teacup and took a sip carefully.

The unsweetened organic chrysanthemum tea had a slightly bitter taste, but Qi Lei felt comfortable drinking it, so he lowered his head and took another two gulps. With that, his dry throat felt more soothed.

“Oh? Try me. In which aspect am I not as good as you are?” Mu Yuchen gazed at him with an intrigued look.

“Your pick-up and flirting skills aren’t as good as mine! Yours is just not as pure and simple as mine.”

“I’m truly not as simple as you are and I’m not as simple to read as you are. However, I’m now the father of two children whereas you’re still all alone by yourself, and you have the guts to say so, huh?” As Mu Yuchen spoke, his tone became low and calmed. It was just like talking to his own brother. He lowered his eyes and took a sip of tea.

Then, he placed one hand on his knee and looked at Qi Lei diagonally with a faint sigh. “I remember that you’re only 30 years old this year, so I should be a tidbit elder than you, and I’ve been out exposed to the world a lot longer than you. Frankly speaking, when I first met you, I thought you were just a spoiled brat who protected himself by surrounding himself with debauchery.

“People become mature by experiencing things that the world throws at us. I think Xiaye and you both share the same experience. “I hope so.” Qi Lei sighed faintly. It must not have been easy to do so. As a man, Qi Lei could naturally discern those emotions within Glenn.
