Chapter 1978
The First Heir
âHahaha!â
With a loud laugh, Connor said, âPhilip, do you think you can do anything to me with just this? Are you
going to give this to the people of the law enforcement hall? Dream on! I can also say that this whole
thing was self directed by you!â
Philip already knew that Connor would say this. Standing with his hands behind his back, he looked at
the three people indifferently and said, âI know that I canât do anything to you with this. As long as the
branch family steps in, itâll be like it never happened. However, if you think that Iâm afraid and dare not
do anything to you, then youâre very wrong.â
Hearing this, the faces of Connor and the others darkened because they felt a chill and killing intent
from Philipâs body as well as eyes.
âWhat do you want to do?â Connor asked with a frown as he felt a bad premonition.
Philip smirked and glanced indifferently at Allen as he said, âIâll give you a way out. As long as you go
back and testify against him, I can ignore the past. How about that?â
As soon as Allen heard this, he burst into laughter and said, âPhilip, are you out of your mind? Why
would I turn my back on my eldest brother? Hahaha, I thought you were so powerful, but it turns out
that youâre just an empty husk.â
Connor also snorted.
Levi stood up straight. It seemed that Philip was still afraid of their branch family.
Why should he be afraid of Philip, then?
âHaha, Philip, hurry up and let us go. I need to wash up and change.â
Levi said as he put his hands on his back and swaggered out.
Bang!
Philip abruptly kicked and Levi flew out more than two meters. He hit the railing heavily and fell to the
ground on his knees. He clutched his stomach, threw up bile, and could not stand up for a while.
Seeing this scene, the arrogance on the faces of Connor and Allen immediately froze.
âPhilip, youâre crazy!â Allen shouted as he ran over and pulled Levi up from the ground.
Levi was in pain.
Allen still wanted to reprimand him when the two guards behind him yanked him over, pressed his
head, and forced him to kneel before Philip.
At this point, Allen was almost roaring with rage. He was Philipâs grand uncle, after all, but he was
being forced to kneel before him!
âLet go! Iâm Allen Clarke of the branch family! How dare humble guards such as you touch me?! When I
go back, Iâll have someone kill all of you!â Allen growled.
Philip glanced at Allen blandly and said, âI still stand by my words just now. Go back and testify against
him if you want me to let you live.â
Allen spat with his eyes full of anger and said, âYou must be dreaming! Philip, when we return to the
island, Iâll show you!â
Philip waved his hands and said with a smile, âI donât have a choice, then. Tie a rope around him and
throw him into the sea. Pull him up again when he has it figured out.â
Hearing this, Allenâs scalp went numb as he quickly struggled and yelled, âHow dare you?! Iâm a
member of the branch family. If you dare to throw me into the sea, Iâll definitely kill you! Stop it, stop it!
What are you doing?â
Allen yelled but the two guards had already tied his hands with a rope and pushed him to the railing!
In that instant, half of Allenâs body was pushed out of the railing. The endless blue sea, turbulent
waves, and cold water hit his face with salty wetness.
âArgh! Pull me up, pull me up! Iâm going to die!â Allen howled miserably.
Fear! Horror!
Allen struggled and said, âPhilip, you canât do this! Let me go!â
However, Philip stood on the side indifferently with a wicked sneer on his mouth. He said, âThrow him
in.â
