Chapter 730
The First Heir
Philip smiled and made a grasping motion in the air with one hand, making his opponent cower back in
fright!
Rachelâs breathing became rapid for fear that this scoundrel would make unruly moves!
âWhy, are you afraid?â
Philip did not make any further moves. It was just a ploy. He said, âYou shouldâve prepared for the
consequences when you tried to test me. A lone man and woman in the same room⦠Are you really
not worried that Iâd do something to you? Your body is invaluable in the eyes of men, but you still did it,
which means you have an inexplicable reason to do so.
âI guess there are no more than two reasons. First, I have something valuable to you. Second, youâre
entrusted by others, or thereâs someone behind the scenes controlling you, right?â
Rachel trembled all over, her breathing became faster as a look of horror appeared in her eyes!
Obviously, Philip had guessed one of them correctly!
For this reason, Philip did not bother hiding anything but merely said with a playful smile on his face,
âOf course, thereâs another possibility. You think Iâm handsome and want to take me for your own. If
thatâs the case, I hope youâll respect yourself. After all, Iâm Wynnâs husband and youâre her best friend.â
Rachel was still nervous, but when she heard Philipâs words, she suddenly felt a surge of fury in her
chest!
This man was too narcissistic!
How could there be such a shameless person?
Rachel shuddered, forced herself to calm down, and shouted coldly, âPhilip, I advise you to get out of
the way. Otherwise, youâll definitely regret it!â
Rachel raised her head, bit her red lips hard, and fixed her eyes on Philip. Her body was shaking
slightly as if she was struggling with her might!
Rachel was in agony at this moment. She regretted her actions. She should not have been so reckless!
Why did she take the initiative? Why did she not wait? What was she going to do if the masterâs plan
was exposed?
âMy patience is limited. Iâll give you one minute to think carefully!â Philip said sternly, obviously having
lost his patience!
He would never allow a hidden foe at Wynnâs side.
This Rachel Clarke was obviously not an angel.
Just as Rachel was resolved to fight to the death, suddenly there was a knock on the door!
Wynnâs voice sounded from outside, âRachel, are you done?â
Rachel heaved a breath of relief when she heard that voice.
However, Philip said coldly, âIâll let you off for now. Thereâll be plenty of opportunities in the future. But I
warn you, donât try to get any ideas about Wynn. Otherwise, not only you but even the people behind
you wonât be able to escape my clutches.â
âPhilip Clarke, youâre very arrogant! I hope you can live to see that day!â Rachel gritted her teeth and
responded vehemently.
At the sight of a self-conscious Rachel, Philip sneered, âDonât worry, Iâll outlive every single one of you.
Remember my words. Iâll let you off this time. If you donât take the initiative to confess to me, Iâll come
after you myself. By then, it wonât be as simple as it is now.â
After that, Philip turned around and left while Rachel stayed there for several seconds.
When the knock on the door sounded again, she gathered her senses and walked toward the door.
Opening the door, Wynnâs face was full of smiles when she noticed Rachelâs red face. She could not
help but wonder, âRachel, why are you blushing?â
Rachel touched her hot cheeks, recalled the provocative scene with Philip in the dressing room just
now, and hatred loomed!
âReally? Maybe the room is too warm,â Rachel said unnaturally. For some reason, she did not choose
to tell Wynn about Philipâs âvillainous behaviorâ because she had misgivings.
âBy the way, Phil, thereâs a woman just now who asked me to give you this.â
While speaking, Wynn held a square box in her hand and handed it to Philip.
âA woman? Who is it?â
Philip looked puzzled. How did someone find him here?
He glanced at Rachel, but the other partyâs face was turned away arrogantly, indicating that she did not
know.
âI donât know her, but she said her name is Hannah Clarke.â
Wynn pursed her lips and mumbled, âAnother Clarke. Phil, do you know her?â
