Chapter 883
The First Heir
Balooâs expression turned cold as he said with a slightly menacing sneer, âIs that important?â
âYouâre right. Theyâll end up dead anyway.â
Philip grinned, showing his white teeth while looking innocent.
However, that smile only made Baloo shudder!
From Philipâs grin and eyes, he felt the ferocity of a beast!
The look in this guyâs eyes was so terrifying!
Was this the reason why the boss was apprehensive about him?
Philip scoffed. âI need to remind you, donât fan the flames and set yourself on fire. Be careful or the
flames will burn everyone behind you to death.â
Hearing this, Baloo frowned. A wave of anger welled within him, but he quickly suppressed it.
He said grimly, âPhilip, I know youâre on good terms with Theo and have some tricks up your sleeve, so
I donât plan to torture you. Iâll give you two options. One is to explain Young Master Haneâs beating, and
the other is to find a way to get away from the Hane family. Obviously, the second option is more
difficult. No one can leave safely while being targeted by the Hane family.â
Philip shrugged, looked up at the ceiling, and said, âThe so-called facts you mentioned were indeed
done by me. I can admit it, but the Hane family might not be able to do anything to me. When Kenneth
Hane went after my life with a bunch of street punks, I taught him a good lesson. As for Francis Hane,
he asked for it. He shouldnât have harbored any intentions toward my wife.
âLet me add one more thing. If the head of the Hane family knows about this, heâll definitely kneel and
beg for my mercy,â Philip grinned as he said calmly.
Baloo stared at Philip silently before suddenly saying, âThereâs someone outside who wants to save
you. Iâm very curious about your true identity.â
Philip waved his hand and said, âThere are too many people who want to save me. I can only say that
justice will prevail over evil. As for my identity, I really have nothing to hide, actuallyâ¦â
Baloo frowned and became tense as he stared at the smiling Philip.
At Balooâs reaction, Philip deliberately leaned forward and beckoned. âCome closer. Itâs not convenient
to reveal my identity like this. Iâm afraid that the wall has ears.â
Baloo hesitated for a while before leaning closer.
Philip lowered his voice and said, âActually⦠Iâm your uncle!â
âYou!â
Baloo was furious. He slammed the table and roared, yelling, âPhilip Clarke, donât play any tricks! This
is the private residence of the Hane family. Watch yourself! Otherwise, I canât guarantee what theyâll do
to you!â
âOh, really? Thatâs great. I hope you wonât live to regret it!â
Philip sneered, âBaloo, at this point, youâre still acting in front of me. You really think I donât know whoâs
behind this?â
Margot Pearson was not so stupid, so it had to be Juan Parker.
Baloo retorted, âWhat are you talking about? Donât say I didnât give you a chance. Youâre the one who
didnât cherish it. Whatever happens next, you asked for it!â
âOkay!â
Philip chuckled coldly. âI havenât settled things with you the last time, so we can take care of everything
in one go!â
Baloo suddenly calmed down. He did not expect things to reach this point. Philip was actually so calm
and even threatened him in return.
Where did he get the confidence from?
From the Joo family outside?
There was no need for Baloo to continue the pretense. He sneered, stared at Philip, and pulled on his
leather jacket before saying, âWell, since youâre so adamant, then I have no other choice. Itâs a pity. I
heard that your wife is still pregnant. What if sheâs met with a mishap, a car accident perhaps, or falls
off a building? Whatâs going to happen then?â
Philip looked at Baloo and said coldly, âThe only thing you shouldnât have done is to threaten me with
my wife!â
Baloo looked at the time and snickered. âIâm out of time. Either you explain it or Iâll help you explain.â
âYouâll help me?â Philip asked.
