Jiang Tingzhou walked up to Su Meng within a few steps, “Kid…”

Su Meng didn’t expect to see Jiang Tingzhou there.  They hadn’t seen each other for more than two years.  Jiang Guangshi’s case caused a great sensation that year. The Jiang family fell into chaos. The old man of the Jiang family suffered a cerebral hemorrhage due to severe stimulation. He had limited mobility and could only travel by wheelchair. Jiang Guangshi and Liang Cheng were taken to court and became prisoners who everyone shouted and despised.

Because of their bad deeds, almost the whole country paid attention to the progress of their court trial. The Jiang family fell apart. Since Jiang Tingzhou would be affected by all that mess, his grandfather sent him to the military academy in remote areas. He wasn’t even allowed to report to the local military academy in the imperial capital, in order to keep him away.  In the past six months, the Jiang family’s affairs finally calmed down. The Jiang family’s brothers were “reunited” in prison.

Zhang Xiaoya chuckled when she heard him call her ‘kid’, “We graduated from high school, will you stop calling her that?”

Although Jiang Tingzhou matured a lot, some of his old habits couldn’t be changed. After he heard Zhang Xiaoya’s words, he greeted her with kindness.  He looked directly at Su Meng and said with a smile, “How about changing from ‘kid’ to girlfriend?”

Everyone started to murmur and the atmosphere in the room looked tense.  Before Su Meng could answer, Lu Boxing on the side said indifferently, “Doesn’t sound very good.”

Before he could utter one more word, Jiang Tingzhou stood right in front of him.  Two school-level rivals, who aimed to be with Su Meng, and were also sought after by various girls, met again two years later, and the atmosphere wasn’t very friendly.

Jiang Tingzhou didn’t pay attention to Lu Boxing and took Su Meng’s hand and said, “Let’s go outside.”

The Ling couple were actually very concerned about Jiang Tingzhou’s affairs, especially Granny Zhang. She had a close relationship with Jiang Tingzhou’s mother Chu Ruhui. After knowing that her death wasn’t a suicide, Granny Zhang was sad for a long time. So influenced by them, Su Meng also had some things to ask him. And so between Lu Boxing and Jiang Tingzhou, she naturally preferred Jiang Tingzhou’s side.  So Su Meng nodded.

As Jiang Tingzhou took Su Meng towards the top of the stairs, Zhang Ming didn’t know what to say.

He didn’t know what to ask as he had so many questions.  How did JIang Tingzhou meet that great beauty? What was his relationship with that great beauty?

Because when they both were in the military academy, he never heard that Jiang Tingzhou had a girlfriend. If the girls in the school saw that scene, they would break their hearts.  Zhang Ming finally opened his mouth, and reminded, “Don’t forget that we still have tasks to do!”

Jiang Tingzhou said, “I know”, from a distance and disappeared from Zhang Ming’s sight.

After they reached the stairs, Jiang Tingzhou stopped.  Su Meng’s red lips opened slightly, and her tone was natural, “It’s so hot here.” It was June, and there was no air-conditioning there.  Su Meng was a little uncomfortable. Jiang Tingzhou didn’t let go of her hand, and held it more tightly.

Su Meng frowned, “You are hurting me.”
