Blood Magic 🌶🌶🌶

The Twin Dragons Series: Requiem City

SUMMER

My mates held me in a way that was both affectionate and aggressive at the same time, and it sent a surge of excitement through my body.

Dane’s fingertips found my clit and began to rub me with gentle circles.

After a few moments, he slipped one inside, and I moaned. My pleasureful sounds echoed off the walls of the cave.

The feeling was heightened by Aneurin’s sweet kisses on my shoulder blades as his hands worked my breasts.

Dane moved closer and wrapped my legs around his waist. Even though we were in the shallow end of the pool, Aneurin held me from behind for support.

Aneurin’s hands continued to grope my body as Dane entered me, his cock filling up every inch of my pussy.

“Does that feel good?” Dane asked with a hint of teasing.

I nodded, unable to speak.

He began to thrust gently, creating small ripples in the water. As he continued to work his magic inside me, I hugged my body tighter to his.

It didn’t take Aneurin long to find my clit and continue the gentle but firm motions his brother had started.

Dane picked up his pace, and Aneurin matched his rhythm. With one brother inside me and the other rubbing me closer and closer to orgasm, I was ready to let them do ~anything~ they wanted.

My body tensed as I felt the first orgasm bubbling to the surface. I closed my eyes and saw sparks of light floating in front of my vision.

“Don’t stop.”

“We wouldn’t dream of it,” Aneurin said seductively. His breath was warm on my ear, sending shivers up and down my spine.

“Are you going to cum for us?” Dane asked as his cock rocked my pussy with every thrust.

“I’ll cum…as much…as you want,” I stammered, unable to avoid the tremor that arrived with my orgasm.

Aneurin sensed my climax and rubbed harder, causing my body to jolt with the overwhelming sensation.

As my pussy tightened around Dane, I heard him grunt as his hot seed shot inside me.

“That was fast,” Aneurin teased his brother.

“It’s your turn,” Dane said, gasping for breath. “I’d like to see you try to last longer.”

I nodded in agreement, unable to speak. My body was flooded with ecstasy, but I couldn’t have agreed more. I wanted them to last as long as they could because I knew it would only mean more orgasms for me.

Aneurin spun me around in the water so that I was facing him. He pulled me close and positioned the tip of his massive cock at my entrance.

I moaned with pleasure and tried to push all of him inside, only to have Aneurin pull out.

He was teasing me, trying to make me beg for his cock. And that’s precisely what I did.

“More,” I pleaded. “Fuck me like your brother did. And don’t pull out.”

Aneurin heard my challenge and filled me with his tip once more. After a few seconds of unbelievable anticipation, he finally thrust his entire cock inside me.

My core shook with carnal bliss as Aneurin continued to thrust hard. I was already gushing from his brother, so there was no need to go slow.

Suddenly, the pendant on my neck began to glow brightly. I could feel something happening in my body… It was as if the magic of the diamond was heightening the sensations of our sex.

Aneurin thrust harder and harder as Dane’s fingers worked their magic on my clit. I dug my nails into Aneurin’s back, breaking the skin.

“Oh, fuck,” I growled. “Just like that. Hit me right there.”

“That’s what I want,” Aneurin whispered in my ear. “Don’t hold back. Let it all go.”

I screamed out a prolonged orgasm as the waves we created in the pool threatened to take us under.

Aneurin pulled me closer to his body and held me in place as he released his seed inside.

Finished, he pulled himself free.

“Holy fuck,” he moaned. “I came so hard.”

“So, did I,” I said, stroking the hair on his chest.

Dane kissed me from behind and the three of us slowly moved to the edge of the pool.

Drained of energy, we lay on a bearskin rug—Dane and Aneurin on either side of me.

Our bodies were still wet from the pool and our perspiration.

I could hear my mates breathing deeper. Soon, they would be lost to sleep.

I curled up between them, watching the glow of the healing pool glisten on the cave walls.

The pendant had worked like a charm. I could feel my powers strengthened, and in return, my resolve was stronger—and that was to say nothing of the new heights it took me to during sex.

But my healing powers only made me think of Zayda.

She was still struggling due to the crippling pain of carrying a half-dragon child. But with the magic diamond, I would actually be able to help her.

Because of the thoughtfulness of my mates, Zayda would be in better hands.

And with that comforting thought, I drifted off to sleep.

STORM

I sat beside the small pool in the Shadow Realm, staring at the water filled with the knowledge of the universe.

I wanted to know the truth—to look into the future and see what was in store for us all.

But I wasn’t yet ready to decipher the pool’s veiled premonitions.

The visions I’d been having were too convoluted. Even rewatching them in the pool gave me no solace.

My mind was filled with uncertainty.

The visions of Zayda’s birth had impacted me more than I initially realized.

We were so close to breaking the curse and ending humanity’s control over dragons. But if Zayda were to actually go through with the sacrifice…

“What’s bothering you, my love?”

Silver was sitting beside me, her eyes staring intently into mine.

I’d been so enveloped by my own thoughts I hadn’t even heard her approach.

“Nothing,” I sighed. “And yet, everything.”

Silver smiled in that way only she could, and my tension began to ease.

I’d lived many lives before meeting my mate, and I’d encountered numerous people. No one had ever made me feel the way she did with a simple smile.

She scooted closer to me and laid her head on my shoulder.

“The curse might not be broken yet,” she said, “but I can feel the last tendrils of its evil magic withering. Soon, Freesia’s Curse will be over.”

“And then what will we do next?” I teased.

Of course, we could do anything we wanted. I hadn’t lived for millennia just to remain in the Shadow Realm.

But I loved hearing Silver’s dreams and expectations. Without her ability to see the positive in any situation, I might have given up on breaking the curse long ago.

Silver’s eyes went wide as she thought of all the possibilities.

“Well,” she started, “for one, we can live a normal life as dragons.”

I chuckled at the thought.

“What is a ~normal~ life for a dragon?”

“I know that it’s not normal to live in the Shadow Realm, keeping watch over the past, present, and future,” she said with a smile. “Once the curse ends, your watch won’t be necessary.”

I nodded in agreement.

Dragons lived in the Shadow Realm to avoid oppression and aggression from humans in the real world.

With the curse gone, ~every dragon~ would be able to leave this world and search for their own freedom in the next.

Silver lifted her head off my shoulder and looked deep into my eyes.

“I know what that look means.”

“Did the seeing pool show you?” Silver mocked.

“No, it didn’t have to,” I admitted. “We were destined for each other long before Requiem was even a city.”

“Then you’ll remember the life we used to live,” she said with hope in her voice. “We were nomads before the curse forced us into this realm.”

~Nomads.~

To some, the word had a negative connotation. But to us, it meant a chance to live life without boundaries.

~The kind of life a dragon should live…~

Silver laid her head on my shoulder once more, and I pulled her closer, reveling in the touch of her skin on mine.

Once the curse was broken, Silver and I could finally embark upon our long-awaited journey.

I just hoped this time we could actually live out that dream.

ZAYDA

“Xythor, can you hear me?”

I sat beside my lover, who was staring mindlessly at the ground.

Xythor’s chest cavity was open. The Dragonstone glowed under the halogen lights, but the vial that once held my blood was empty.

After the battle at Xander U, Xythor had been interacting with me less and less. Lately, it was as if he had entirely run out of life.

But with the baby coming, I needed my man to return to his old self.

So, I used the knowledge I’d gained from watching Xander take my blood, and I did it myself.

I watched my blood siphon through the clear tube and drip into the small vial.

“It’s almost over, baby,” I said sweetly. “You’ve almost got your spirit back.”

I removed the needle from my arm and dressed the small pinprick with alcohol and a bandage.

Placing the vial between my warm hands, I closed my eyes and began to chant.

It was a simple blood spell that Xander had taught me long ago. But I could feel my magic leaching into the blood with each and every word uttered from my mouth.

With slow and cautious movements, I placed the vial back into his chest and closed the compartment.

It took a few seconds, but Xythor’s eyes finally blinked and came to life.

For the first time in days, I could see that my lover was conscious enough to take in his surroundings.

Then he looked at me and smiled.

“Hey, Zayda,” he said in his usual deep voice. “It’s good to see you.”

I threw my arms around Xythor and was happy to feel him return the embrace.

“It’s good to see you too, honey,” I whispered into his ear.

I pulled away from Xythor and looked into his face, amazed that my blood magic ritual had worked so well.

He blinked a few times and then placed a hand on his stomach.

“God, I’m starving,” he said. “It feels like I haven’t eaten in days.”

“Go to the kitchen and fix yourself something,” I said, giving him a kiss. “I’ll join you shortly.”

Xythor nodded and gave me another kiss before he stood up and left the room.

I picked up the bandages and cleaned out the plastic tube in the sink.

Xander was a cruel man, but he was brilliant and had a plan for everything. I was still amazed his laboratory was running even after such a massive battle had taken place.

It showed that he had wanted this underground wealth of slayer information to stay around long after he perished.

Hopefully, it would stay running until my work with Xythor was complete.

I was about to turn out the lights and join Xythor in the kitchen when my hand touched something wet and sticky.

I looked at my skin and saw that it was smeared with blood.

~Where did that come from?~

I looked at the needle mark on my arm, but the bleeding had already stopped.

I lifted up the hem of my dress and saw a crimson stain spreading across it. I’d read about light spotting during pregnancy, but this was something else entirely.

Suddenly, my stomach dropped, and I felt very faint.

Light-headed, I lay on the hospital cot where Xythor had been moments before.

The blood magic was keeping Xythor alive. But much more of this, and it would drain me of all my energy.

And that would mean it was taking away the energy from the child inside me…
