Little Love

Lucas stood in front of his mirror, tugging nervously at his oversized hoodie. Amari had told him to wear something comfy, but what if he looked too babyish? It was their first official date since Amari asked him to be his boyfriend, and Lucas wanted to look perfect.

His mom, Mrs. Min, peeked into his room, smiling softly. "You look adorable, sweetheart. Amari's going to love it."

Lucas blushed, pouting. "Mamaaa..."

She chuckled and kissed his forehead. "Just be yourself, okay? Now go, your boyfriend is waiting."

Lucas grabbed his little backpack (stuffing his favorite plush inside, just in case) and hurried outside, where Amari was leaning against his car, looking effortlessly cool in a black hoodie and ripped jeans.

"Damn, baby, you look cute." Amari smirked, reaching out to boop Lucas' nose.

Lucas giggled, shyly looking down. "Where we goin'?"

Amari grinned. "It's a surprise."

Γ°ΒŸΒŒΒƒ First Stop: Arcade & Ice Cream

Their first destination was the local arcade, and Lucas lit up as soon as he saw all the bright lights and games. Amari chuckled, watching his baby practically bounce with excitement.

"You gonna win me somethin', Daddy?" Lucas teased, looking up at Amari with big eyes.

Amari smirked, cracking his knuckles. "Oh, you already know I'm about to win you the biggest prize in here."

Lucas giggled as they headed toward the claw machine. Amari was determined, his brows furrowed in concentration, while Lucas clapped excitedly each time he got close. After a few tries, Amari finally snagged a huge teddy bear, and Lucas squealed, hugging it tightly.

"Thank you, Daddy!" He nuzzled the plush happily.

Amari kissed the top of his head. "Anything for my baby."

They played a few more gamesҀ”Lucas completely dominated at skee-ball, much to Amari's surprise. After cashing in their tickets, they left with a few small prizes and headed to their next stop: ice cream!

Lucas got a cup of cookies and cream with sprinkles, while Amari stuck with his usual chocolate fudge. They sat outside, Lucas happily swinging his legs as he ate.

"Best date ever," Lucas murmured between bites.

Amari smiled. "And it's not even over yet."

🌠 Second Stop: Ferris Wheel & Stargazing

Their next destination was the small local fairground, where a Ferris wheel lit up the night sky. Lucas gasped in awe.

"We goin' on that?!"

Amari chuckled. "Of course, baby."

As they got on, Lucas clung to Amari's arm, his excitement mixing with nerves. When they reached the top, he gasped at the viewҀ”twinkling city lights stretching for miles.

"Wow..." Lucas whispered.

Amari wrapped an arm around him. "Pretty, huh?"

Lucas nodded. "But not as pretty as you."

Amari laughed. "You tryna flirt with me, little boy?"

Lucas giggled. "Maaaaybe."

Amari leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to Lucas' lips. "You're so damn cute."

Lucas blushed, hiding his face in Amari's chest. "Shh..."

After the ride, Amari drove them to a quiet spot outside the city where the stars were brighter. They laid a blanket on the hood of Amari's car, cuddling up as they watched the sky.

Lucas sighed happily. "I don't want tonight to end."

Amari squeezed him. "Then we'll have plenty more like it, baby."

Lucas yawned, snuggling closer. "I love you, Daddy."

Amari kissed his forehead. "I love you too, baby boy."

And with that, Lucas drifted off in Amari's arms, completely safe, completely loved.
