Chapter 34

Epilogue

The Ruthless King's Claim [Completed]

Author's POV

Years had passed since Kiara and Reyaansh’s lives had intertwined, their love story growing stronger with each passing day. Their mansion, once a symbol of Reyaansh’s power and solitude, was now a home brimming with laughter, love, and cherished memories.

On a warm summer afternoon, Kiara stood in the garden, watching Aryan, now eight years old, attempting to teach his four-year-old sister, Aarya, how to ride a bicycle. Their giggles echoed across the lush expanse, and Kiara couldn’t help but smile.

“Careful, Aryan!” Kiara called out as the little boy ran ahead to steady his sister’s bike.

Reyaansh stepped out onto the patio, his commanding presence as striking as ever, though the sharp edges of his demeanor had softened over the years. He walked over to Kiara, slipping an arm around her waist as they both watched their children.

“They’re growing up so fast,” he murmured, his voice filled with pride.

Kiara nodded, leaning into him. “Sometimes I wish time would slow down. I’m not ready for them to grow up just yet.”

Reyaansh kissed her temple, his touch as tender as it had been on their wedding day. “No matter how old they get, they’ll always be our little ones.”

As the sun began to dip below the horizon, Aryan ran over, his eyes sparkling with excitement. “Papa! Mama! Aarya rode the bike on her own!” he exclaimed, his voice full of pride.

Reyaansh crouched down, pulling both children into his arms. “That’s amazing, champ,” he said, ruffling Aryan’s hair. “And Aarya, you’re already so brave.”

Kiara knelt beside them, wrapping her arms around her family. In moments like this, she felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the life they had built together.

Later that evening, as the children fell asleep in their rooms, Kiara and Reyaansh sat on the balcony, a glass of wine in each of their hands. The city lights glittered in the distance, a testament to the world they had conquered together.

“You know,” Kiara began, her voice soft, “if someone had told me years ago that I’d end up here, with you, I wouldn’t have believed them.”

Reyaansh took her hand, his gaze filled with devotion. “And I wouldn’t have believed that someone could love me the way you do.”

Kiara smiled, a warmth spreading through her chest. “You’re my home, Reyaansh. You always will be.”

He leaned in, capturing her lips in a kiss that spoke of promises kept and a future yet to come. When they pulled apart, his voice was barely above a whisper.

“To forever, Kiara.”

“To forever,” she echoed, her heart full.

As the stars sparkled above, Kiara rested her head on Reyaansh’s shoulder, knowing that their love, their family, and their journey would continue to shine, no matter what.

The End.
