Epilogue
The Ruthless King's Claim [Completed]
Author's POV
Years had passed since Kiara and Reyaanshâs lives had intertwined, their love story growing stronger with each passing day. Their mansion, once a symbol of Reyaanshâs power and solitude, was now a home brimming with laughter, love, and cherished memories.
On a warm summer afternoon, Kiara stood in the garden, watching Aryan, now eight years old, attempting to teach his four-year-old sister, Aarya, how to ride a bicycle. Their giggles echoed across the lush expanse, and Kiara couldnât help but smile.
âCareful, Aryan!â Kiara called out as the little boy ran ahead to steady his sisterâs bike.
Reyaansh stepped out onto the patio, his commanding presence as striking as ever, though the sharp edges of his demeanor had softened over the years. He walked over to Kiara, slipping an arm around her waist as they both watched their children.
âTheyâre growing up so fast,â he murmured, his voice filled with pride.
Kiara nodded, leaning into him. âSometimes I wish time would slow down. Iâm not ready for them to grow up just yet.â
Reyaansh kissed her temple, his touch as tender as it had been on their wedding day. âNo matter how old they get, theyâll always be our little ones.â
As the sun began to dip below the horizon, Aryan ran over, his eyes sparkling with excitement. âPapa! Mama! Aarya rode the bike on her own!â he exclaimed, his voice full of pride.
Reyaansh crouched down, pulling both children into his arms. âThatâs amazing, champ,â he said, ruffling Aryanâs hair. âAnd Aarya, youâre already so brave.â
Kiara knelt beside them, wrapping her arms around her family. In moments like this, she felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the life they had built together.
Later that evening, as the children fell asleep in their rooms, Kiara and Reyaansh sat on the balcony, a glass of wine in each of their hands. The city lights glittered in the distance, a testament to the world they had conquered together.
âYou know,â Kiara began, her voice soft, âif someone had told me years ago that Iâd end up here, with you, I wouldnât have believed them.â
Reyaansh took her hand, his gaze filled with devotion. âAnd I wouldnât have believed that someone could love me the way you do.â
Kiara smiled, a warmth spreading through her chest. âYouâre my home, Reyaansh. You always will be.â
He leaned in, capturing her lips in a kiss that spoke of promises kept and a future yet to come. When they pulled apart, his voice was barely above a whisper.
âTo forever, Kiara.â
âTo forever,â she echoed, her heart full.
As the stars sparkled above, Kiara rested her head on Reyaanshâs shoulder, knowing that their love, their family, and their journey would continue to shine, no matter what.
The End.
