Boom!

The Heavenly Halberd collided with the enchanted beast’s sharp claws, and a dull vibration reverberated

throughout the cave. After a painful howl, the Sea Enchanted Beast turned around and charged at the Empress.

“Argh!”

The Empress paled as she exclaimed!

She was terrified and perplexed at why the enchanted beast targeted her resiliently.

Darryl was equally puzzled.

What had happened?

‘I have wounded the Sea Enchanted Beast again and again, but why does it keep going to the Empress and refuse

to fight me?’

Then, Darryl looked at the Empress’s phoenix robe, and he suddenly thought of something.

The Empress’s phoenix robe was made of silk with golden threads, and there were also embroidered jewels on it.

The Sea Enchanted Beast must be attracted to glittering things, which was probably why it continued to target the

Empress.

“Your Majesty!”

Darryl shouted at the Empress, “Quick, take off your phoenix robe! The beast is attracted to the jewelry on your

phoenix robe. That’s why it keeps going for you.”

‘Did he tell me to take off my phoenix robe?’

The Empress blushed. She bit her lips in shame.

Then, she shouted at Darryl, “What nonsense is this? Why don’t you deal with this beast instead of telling me to

take off my phoenix robe? Why are you so sure that it is attracted to the jewelry on my robe?”

‘I’m wearing a thin layer of inner-wear inside. How could I let Darryl see me in that?’

Darryl was dumbfounded. “If it weren’t for your phoenix robe, why would it keep staring at you? Plus, I have tried

my best to stop it from going after you. If you don’t believe me, I can’t do anything else.”

Darryl looked relaxed when he said that. In fact, he was quite happy about it.

He chuckled.

The Empress had been acting proud and aloof ever since they fled from the New World Continent.

Perhaps even God would not be able to stand her foul attitude and sent the Sea Enchanted Beast to get her.

Nonetheless, the Empress had an alluring figure; she would definitely look very charming without the phoenix robe.

Darryl wore an indifferent look on his face with that thought in mind, but expectations filled his heart.

“Mother Empress, Darryl.”

Yvette, who was nearby, had her sight obscured by the poisonous mist. So, she could not see what had happened.

She shouted anxiously, “How are you both doing?”

“We are fine. Don’t worry!” Darryl responded instantly.

Darryl gripped the Heavenly Halberd tightly as he dashed forward and stabbed the Sea Enchanted Beast.

The beast groaned and went berserk, but it did not attack Darryl. Instead, it continued to go after the Empress.

Darryl’s guess was correct. The Sea Enchanted Beast lived deep in the bottom of the ocean, and it liked pearls and

other sparkly things. The jewelry on the Empress’ phoenix robe had caught its attention.

“Your Majesty!”

The distraught Darryl yelled, “Hurry up and take off the phoenix robe! The Sea Enchanted Beast is going crazy. If

you hesitate any longer, I won’t be able to stop it.”

A glimpse of cunningness flashed in Darryl’s eyes when he said that.

The Sea Enchanted Beas might have a strong defense system, but Darryl had stabbed it several times with the

Heavenly Halberd. It was covered in blood, and it could no longer stand still. It looked like it would fall anytime soon.

Darryl had lied to scare the Empress.

“I—”

The Empress was too anxious. When she saw the Sea Enchanted Beast approaching her, she bit her lips and took

off her phoenix robe.

Gasp!

Darryl immediately was attracted to the Empress; he gasped as he stared at her blankly.

The Empress had a curvy figure; she looked perfect.
