“Alright then!” Darryl nodded. He looked serious, but he secretly found the situation funny.

Darryl continued to say, “Let’s get started.”

“Alright!” Jasmine replied.

Under Darryl’s vision, she turned her body around and removed her long dress slowly.

Darryl swallowed a mouthful of his saliva. A few seconds later, he walked over and started treating Jasmine.

In the beginning, Jasmine was really nervous, especially when she felt the warmth coming from Darryl’s hand. She

bit her lips hard as her body trembled. Soon, Jasmine started to smile as the pain from her body gradually

disappeared.

Half an hour passed in no time.

“Great!” Darryl removed his hand and looked at her with a smile. “I’ve treated the irregular energy condition in

your body.”

Jasmine sighed in relief and could not help but feel grateful.

“Thank you, Mister Derby. You are an excellent doctor; I feel much better now,” she said gently.

Just at that moment, they could hear someone knocking on the door from outside. It stunned Darryl and Jasmine.

‘Sh*t! Who is looking for me in the middle of the night again? Is it Snowy asking me to teach her about elixir

production again?’ Darryl grumbled as he furrowed his brows slightly.

Darryl spoke in a calm tone, “Who’s there?”

“Open the door,” a cold voice replied from the other side of the door. They sounded cold and direct.

The past two days, Darryl had been really careful and tried not to cause trouble with Jackie. However, in Jackie’s

heart, she felt that something must not be right about Darryl. No matter what, a person that is so skilled in

medicine but no one has ever heard of is really suspicious!

As such, Jacky had asked someone to investigate Darryl’s medical family background secretly. Her disciples

returned after investigating for two days with news that no such medical family existed.

After she received the news, Jackie was even more suspicious of Darryl’s identity. Hence, she came in the middle of

the night planning to question Darryl.

Darryl and the Sect Master’s faces changed when they heard Jackie’s voice. Sect Master’s face looked especially

worried and panicked.

‘This is bad, I’m not properly dressed, and I’m alone with Mister Derby in a room in the middle of the night. If Jackie

finds us, she would definitely misunderstand the situation,’ Jasmine thought.

Darryl understood the Sect Master’s feelings naturally.

“Oh it’s you Elder Master. I’m already going to bed. If there’s anything that you want, please come back tomorrow,”

he said.

At that time, Jackie looked frustrated. “Darren! If you are asleep, then get up and put on some clothes. Open the

door for me; I have something to ask you.”

Although she was not allowed inside, her voice was stern and showed no room for negotiation.

‘Sh*t.’ Darryl was annoyed in his heart when he heard her tone. ‘This Jackie really thinks that I am her servant?

That I must do what she asks me to do like get out of bed and open the door?’

Darryl said coldly, “Elder Master, I am going to bed. My clothes are too dirty and can’t be worn again. It is really not

convenient now.”
