Darryl did not panic at all when he felt Jackie’s anger. He sighed lightly and said slowly, “Elder Master should have

heard a few days ago that Yang Jian from the North Moana Continent led his grand army to attack South Cloud

World, causing all the people to suffer. I could not stay any longer in my hometown, so I came to seek refuge at

Yellow Sea Continent. I trespassed the forbidden land of Sun Set Sect by mistake.”

When he said that, Darryl looked frustrated, as if he was really there to seek refuge.

When she heard that Jackie took a deep breath and was doubtful when she asked, “Really? You didn’t lie to me?”

Darryl’s speculation was right. Jackie would not have sent anyone to South Cloud World to investigate his

background. However, she was not fully convinced by Darryl’s words.

When she thought about it thoroughly, the North Moana Continent did attack the South Cloud World, and she heard

that many people lost their homes. People had left South Cloud World to seek refuge elsewhere.

“Everything I said is true. Besides, I have no vengeance with you; why would I lie to you?” Darryl smiled bitterly as

he replied.

Seeing Darryl’s sincere expression, Jackie nodded. “I’ll believe you for the time being, but, you must be honest in

the future as long as you are at Sun Set Sect.”

Darryl nodded his head immediately. He looked sincere, but he was smiling in his heart.

‘Ha-ha! Even though Jackie is strong and powerful, she doesn’t have much life experience. I just need to say a few

sentences and she is fully deceived,’ he thought.

Jackie did not want to speak further. She turned around and was about to leave.

Sigh.

However, right at that moment, the Sect Master who was hiding under the blanket sighed gently. She was too

nervous before, so when she realized Jackie was about to leave, the pressure in her heart dropped, and she sighed

in relief discreetly.

What she did not know was that Jackie was still not too far away.

Hearing the sound of a sigh, Jackie turned back around and looked directly at the bed.

The next second, Jackie stared angrily at Darryl and shouted, “How dare you, you despicable person. Are you hiding

a Sun Set Sect female disciple in your bed? Hand her over now!”

In the entire Sun Set Sect, there were no other outsiders apart from Darryl. The sound of someone sighing just

came from his bed, and it was obvious something was not right there.

In Jackie’s heart, Darryl was deviant when he peeped at her in her bath. As such, whoever was in his bed must be

some female disciple he abducted with evil intentions.

‘I am the Elder Master of the Sun Set Sect; how can I allow such a thing to happen?’ she thought.

‘Sh*t!’ At that moment, Darryl could not cry or laugh. He glared at the bed from the corner of his eyes, feeling very

frustrated.

‘Couldn’t the Sect Master just hold it a little longer?’ he thought.

Darryl smiled and said to Jackie, “Elder Master, you have misunderstood. There is no one in my bed; you heard

wrongly.”

Darryl knew that the Sect Master did not want Jackie to see her and was worried that Jackie might misunderstand

the situation. That is why he tried to help the Sect Master by covering for her.

However, the more Darryl did that, the more suspicious Jackie was.

‘Heard wrongly?’ Jackie was furious but laughed.

“Darren, you think I’m still a three-year-old child that you can lie to so easily?”

Jackie went directly towards the bed so fast that Darryl did not have time to react at all.

The next second, Jackie quickly lifted up the blanket.

Once she saw what was in front of her, Jackie’s body trembled instantly. Her face had mixed emotions.

She saw the Sect Master curled up on the bed, blushing alluringly, after being trapped under the blanket for so long.
