Jackie was extremely infuriated!

Darryl was clearly ogling at her, yet he twisted his words and pretended otherwise. How despicable!

Jackie calmed down in the next second as she looked at Darryl, bit her lips, and said, “Is what you just said true?

Can the White Lily Cold Flame help block the heat?”

Jackie’s eyes had hints of hope when she said that.

She would not have to suffer so much if it was true!

Darryl smiled. “Of course! You said so yourself that the White Lily Cold Flame can consume other enchanted flames.

It’ll naturally be able to do so as these are just normal flames. You won’t have to suffer so much as long as I cast a

White Lily Cold Flame shield around you.”

Jackie then immediately said, “What are you still standing there for? Quickly do it.”

“Haha!”

Darryl chuckled before looking seriously at her. “Sure, but why should I help someone who keeps wanting to kill

me?”

Jackie’s face flushed redder upon hearing that as she lowered her head and gently said, “D-didn’t you say that our

grudge has been settled? Do you not plan to help someone who’s in need like me?”

Jackie showed a conflicted expression when she said that.

In truth, she was extremely unwilling to ask Darryl for help, but had no choice since the air there was unbearably

hot.

“Hmm…”

Darryl pretended to contemplate for a while before he smiled, nodded, and said, “Ok, I’ll help you out on one

condition since you have asked!”

“What is it?” Jackie did not even give it any thought before replying.

Darryl smiled and deliberately went closer to look at Jackie. “Properly beg me for it and I might help you out of

pity!”

“You…”

Jackie trembled in fury and stomped her feet. “You’re taking advantage of my misfortune! You want me to beg you?

Dream on!”

She was embarrassed and furious when she said that!

Jackie bit her lips hard and swore at Darryl in her heart over a hundred times!

Darryl smiled and said, “Ok, we can forget about it since you’re not willing!”

Darryl then shrugged his shoulders and acted nonchalantly, but looked at Jackie with ridicule in his eyes.

Jackie bit her lips in extreme fury.

That b*stard Darryl knew she could not bear it any longer, yet he purposely demanded such from her.

She was the Elder Master of the Sun Set Sect and the Illusion Sound Sect Master. How could she bow down to him?

Jackie gritted her teeth secretly with that thought in mind. She thought of using her willpower to resist the

surrounding heat.

However, more than 10 seconds had passed and Jackie’s entire body turned extremely red. She was showing pain

on her exquisite face—she clearly could not take it any longer.

“Woo! Woo!”

Both of them were deep in the cave right at that moment. The lava river had become much wider and along with it

waves of heat kept coming through which caused the heat to become much stronger.

Darryl smiled upon seeing that and opened his mouth. “Elder Master, stop trying to hold on. You’ll either die of

dehydration or have your body roasted if you continue behaving like this.”

Darryl then continued with a serious expression, “Furthermore, I’m only asking you to beg me not be my woman. In

addition, there’s nobody here, so why are you being so stubborn? Could your dignity be more important than your

life?”

At that instant, Jackie’s gorgeous face turned pale!

She was biting her lips hard. Darryl was right. She had no more internal energy and could barely endure the

surrounding heat. There was no way she could continue enduring it to the end!
