Chapter 259
The Ultimate Husband
Read The Ultimate Husband [by Skykissing wolf] Chapter 259 â In the past few days, Lily had been
feeling incredibly guilty.
With no response from Darryl, she grew more anxious and held on to his wrist. âIâm really sorry, Darryl.
Please, will you come home with me?â
Darryl acted as if he did not hear her. He continued talking to Dax, âLetâs go, hurry! Didnât you say you
want to find a place to shower? Letâs grab a drink after you shower.â
Dax shook his head. âIâm not drinking with you! Iâ m not going to shower either. Your wife asked you to
go home.â
With that said, Dax turned and ran away.
âDarryl, I really am sorry. Please forgive me, and come home with me?â Lily begged with her eyes red
as she hugged Darryl from behind.
She had reflected a lot on her past actions these few days and regretted everything she had ever said
or done to Darryl.
âIf youâre not coming home with me, Iâll follow you wherever you go,â Lily pleaded, biting on her. After
hearing that, Darryl took a long deep breath. â Fine, fine, fine! Iâll come with you.â
If she was to follow him everywhere he went, it would not be convenient anyway. Going home with her
was fine, but he would not forgive her so easily.
On their way home, Darryl kept a straight face and did not speak a word.
Half an hour later, they arrived at Windon Villas.
Lily thought the greatest decision she had ever made was buying this villa. Within a few days after her
purchase, the prices had already gone up.
It was almost dusk, and the villas loomed in the shadow of the sunset. Surrounded by mountains and
mists, the scene was picturesque, like a paradise on earth.
Darryl nodded with pleasure as he looked at the villas built by his company, Windon Real Estate. He
was right about Jade. Under her leadership, the company thrived. Jade must have put in so much effort
on this project as every single villa was well designed. He recalled Jade saying that the villas were
selling well and that only one villa was left.
Lily held on to his arm tightly. âLetâs go. Ours is Number Two.â
Darryl smiled, âYou go in first. Iâll go buy some fruits.â
There was a supermarket in the Windon Villas, and Darryl wanted to get some fruits from there. After
all, he had not been home for so many days. If he went back empty-handed, Samantha would not be
pleased.
âThatâs not needed. Letâs just go home,â Lily smiled. It did not matter at all, as long as he forgave her.
Darryl shook his head as he insisted, âIâll go get some. It wonât take long. Iâll be back soon.â
He wanted to buy some fruits and visit his parents, too.
Since he insisted, Lily gave in and nodded. âAlright then, but promise me youâll come back after youâre
done?â
After getting the cold shoulder from him for the past few days, she was afraid. She was afraid of him
leaving.
Darryl smiled and nodded. He then turned and walked toward the supermarket.
As he was almost there, a girl drove toward him in a motorbike. She was dressed in a faint pink dress
and looked youthful and beautiful.
Darryl could not help to take a second glance at her. She seemed familiar.
The girl got down from the motorbike when she passed him. âWhat a coincidence! Why are you here?â
Darryl suddenly recalled that she was Dora Simpson. They met downstairs of the Television Station
when two scammers tried to trick her with an antique. Darryl saved her from being scammed.
âOh yeah, what a coincidence!â
