Chapter 3425
Immediately, all eyes turned to Darryl. Would he dare to tame ten ferocious Golden Lions at one go?
Darryl furrowed his brows. âCunning, very cunning. So he wants me to tame Golden Lions, eh?â 1
âDarren, donât do it,â said Princess Angeline in a whisper, she was panicking.
Darryl smiled in assurance.
âHow about it?â asked Marshall, impatient for an answer. âTaming the Golden Lions should
be an easy task for you since you know the beast language. Know what? Ten is a little bit
too much. How about we make it two instead?â
âFine!â said Darryl with a smile and nod. âIâll do it!â
Everyone was shocked. They never expected him to agree to the idea. Darryl breathed out
a sigh of relief and said nonchalantly, â Two is no fun at all. Iâll tame all ten! â
He appeared calm and collected, as if he was not on his way to meet some wild beast.
Everyone was even more shocked as they stared at him with a look of disbelief. âIs he
crazy? Ten Golden Lions at one go? Is he doing this to impress the Queen? Even so, this is
too much!â
Princess Angeline was wild with panic, she pulled Darryl aside and asked, âAre you crazy?
Have you seen ten Golden Lions going berserk at the same time? These are adult lions
weâre talking about for crying out loud! Their strength is akin to an intermediate saint
honor!â
âCalm down,â said Darryl with a smile.
Madame Pandora, standing opposite Darryl, was also shaking all over as she kept her eyes
focused on him. âIs he really going to tame ten Golden Lions? Heâs either brave or
delusional.â
Finally, the Queen recovered herself. âDarren, are you sure you want to tame ten Golden Lions at the same
time?â
The Queen was no fool. She knew Marshall meant to cause harm to Darryl by suggesting this idea, but what
could she do now that Darryl agreed to it himself? she could not help but worry about his safety. She was
determined not to let anything happen to a man as talented as him.
âYour Majesty, I accept His Excellencyâs suggestion as a gesture of respect,â said Darryl in mock respect. He was
well aware the Queen was worried about him.
âVery well then,â said the Queen, she instructed the guards to get everything ready before leading everyone
outside to the square. Soon, ten huge metal cages, each with a giant Golden Lion inside, were brought into the
square. The Golden Lions measured thirty- nine feet tall and sixteen feet wide. They were covered in golden fur,
making them look majestic and terrifying at the same time.
Darryl was awe-struck. He finally understood why Marshall looked cocky when he mentioned the Golden Lions,
for they were truly ferocious-looking. However, he still did not panic.
