Darryl wanted to laugh.

‘This Sect Master cooked this just to make me stay.’ Darryl smiled as he took the soup and tasted it; it was sweet.

“What do you think?”

Debra stared Darryl sheepishly; her exquisite face was filled with expectation.

Darryl nodded. “It’s pretty good.”

Debra was happy to hear the compliment, and she said softly, “If you want, I can make it for you every day for the

rest of my life.”

The delicious smell of food awakened Jewel. She rubbed her eyes as she asked, “Is that lily seed soup? Smells

good.”

Debra’s face blushed; she felt awkward when Jewel woke up. She stood up quickly and said, “I should go. Oh, yes,

we are heading to the Sword Sect later, so please get ready.”

Then, Debra turned and stepped out of the bedroom; her face was still flushed.

No matter the situation, Debra was the Sect Master. Even though she loved Darryl, she still felt awkward when

other people were present.

There was a mysterious mountain in the Great East; it was located at the northwest of Artemis Sect.

The mountain looked like a calabash from afar. That was also the reason it was known as the Calabash Mountain.

There was a cluster of antique buildings at the mountain’s mid- section; it was where the Elixir Sect’s main altar was

located.

The Elixir Sect was famed for their elixir production specialty-it was their utmost priority, and cultivation was only

the sect’s second priority.

Elixir Sect’s history could be traced to about 3000 years ago. They started as a family that produced elixirs, and

they gradually grew into a sect.

Since they started from within a family, the Elixir Sect’s Sect Master position was passed from father to son, and

not to anyone outside of the family.

Andy Curtis was the Elixir Sect’s Sect Master. He was in his mid-twenties, and he had led the sect for about two

years. Even though he was young, he was very talented in elixir production.

At that moment, Any sat at the Sect Master’s seat in the conference room, and he was dressed in a long, black

robe. Some incense continued to b**n in a bronze crane-shaped incense burner at both sides of the hall. Green

smoke from the incense enveloped the hall-it made the room look grand and magical.

The Elixir Sect’s elders stood respectfully in front of him.

When the earthquake happened in the nine mainlands, the Elixir Sect had experienced a major quake too. They

were there to discuss that matter.

Then, a disciple hurried in and said respectfully, “Sect Master, Artemis Sect’s Sect Master Debra Gable is here.”

Andy raised his hand. “Invite her in quickly.”

More than a dozen people walked slowly into the main hall-Debra, Darryl, Jewel, and a dozen Artemis Sect elders

were among them.

Even though Debra was there to seek justice, she knew well enough not to cause a scene.

She was there to get an explanation from Andy; she wanted to know why he sent Elder J*****r to her with a fake

elixir.

All eyes in the hall immediately focused on Debra’s body.
