Chapter 817
The Ultimate Husband
Read The Ultimate Husband by Skykissing wolf Chapter 817 â Darryl laughed as he looked at Debra and said, â Your
husbandâs character may be a little wild, but I spoke only the truth. The Elixir Sect is just a bunch of useless
b*st*rds.â
He intentionally stressed the last few words as he looked across the entire hall.
âYou are asking for d***h!â
Some of the elders were furious; they raised their blades as they started to charge against Darryl.
A young man had humiliated their sect; how could they stand by and not k**l him?
âSectâ¦â A disciple ran into the hall from the back. He looked panicked as he knelt.
âSect Master, something is wrong! Sect Mistress is sick again!â The disciple looked worried as he sweated profusely.
What?
When he heard that, Andyâs face changed; he panicked like a child.
Andyâs wife was Jody. They grew up together and had a great relationship. Two years ago, they had the grandest
wedding ceremony in Great Eastâs history. The event was known throughout the Great East, and everyone was
envious.
They grew even closer after the wedding, and they had an intimate loving life.
However, good days did not last long, as terrible things started to happen. Jody had fallen sick about a year ago,
and she had been bedridden ever since then. Every time she was ill, her body would freeze, and icy flakes would
form on her eyelashes and lips. It would leave her weaker every time, as well.
Andy had searched the entire north and south of Great Valley for a cure. He had also looked for many doctors, but
none could cure her. Each of the doctors said that she was too weak. If she were to fall sick again, her body would
not take it, and she would d*e.
As a last resort, Andy made some elixirs to sustain her health, but it did not cure her at all.
The Sect Mistressâs illness was like a rock that crushed Andyâs heart. He panicked when he heard she had fallen ill
again. He did not care about any other matters; he only wanted to be with his wife.
Nothing was more important to Andy than Jody.
âHurry! Get the Healing Heart Pill!â Andy ordered. He had used many invaluable treasures to produce a Healing
Heart Pill a few days ago.
The Healing Heart Pill could improve oneâs immunity system. It was rumored that those who had taken the Healing
Heart Pill would never fall ill again.
It was a very precious elixir pill as it needed many treasures from around the world to make it. However, Andy did
not care about that.
After he gave the orders, Andy ran toward the Sect Mistressâs bedroom.
All Elixir Sect elders who wanted to k**l Darryl still held their swords-the atmosphere had been very tense.
However, after Andy left the hall, the main hallâs atmosphere calmed down considerably.
Debra sighed and said to Darryl softly, âLetâs go and take a look too.â
As she spoke, she pulled Darryl with her as they trailed behind Andy.
If they were to stay in the hall, the Elixir Sect elders might get into a fight with Darryl.
Darryl did not say anything; he let Debra pull him along, They walked past a quiet corridor, toward Jodyâs bedroom.
When they stepped into the room, they saw an ashen lady on a pink bed. She had unique facial features, and it
looked like she was in pain. She yelled that she was cold; her entire body shook. There were also icy flakes on her
brows and hair.
The lady was Andyâs wife, Jody.
Andy was worried; he sweated profusely. He went toward Jody and hugged her tightly. Then he tried to calm her.
âMy dear, please, hang in there! Nothing bad would happen.â
As he spoke, Andy shouted at the servant beside him, âHurry! Where is the Healing Heart Pill?â
âI will bring it immediately,â the servant replied hurriedly before she left the room.
At that moment, hundreds of Elixir Sect elders watched them from the door.
âMisterâ¦â Jewel pulled Darryl at the corner of his shirt and said softly, âMistress Jody looked so pitiful.â
