As he heard those words, Ewan immediately paled. “Rachel, we cannot act so impulsively.”

They had run away multiple times, but the Carters always found them.

Zoran had been furious over those incidents; he even complained to his master about it.

Rachel stomped her feet. “Then, what do you think we should do?”

“Don’t worry, Rachel.” Ewan panicked; he scratched his ears as his face blushed. Suddenly, he had a thought, “Got

it!”

Ewan smiled wickedly as he said, “My master and I saw Dax and Chester at a restaurant outside the city earlier

today. They had a fight with an elder from the Incandescent Sect and were seriously injured. Why don’t we use this

news and lure Darryl there?”

Rachel raised her brows as she said, “What good is that? You are not his match.”

Ewan coughed awkwardly as a bitter smile appeared on his face. “Of course, I can’t fight him. We’ll lure Darryl to

the volcano crater, and when he is not paying attention, we can–“

Darryl and Zoran had a long chat before they went back into their respective rooms.

Darryl took two rooms-one for him and Jewel, and another for Debra.

Even though Debra had decided to follow Darryl, she insisted not to get intimate with him before their wedding.

In their room, Jewel helped Darryl clean up, and then she sat by the window as she looked at the Royal City’s night

view outside. She was so excited that she could not sleep.

At that moment, some food steps were heard from the corridor outside. Sara’s voice then followed. “Sister, you are

back.”

“Yes.”

Rachel appeared calm as she spoke to Sara. “I went out for a stroll. It is so late now, of course, I’m back.”

As she spoke, Rachel glared at Darryl’s room intentionally.

When she realized that her sister’s mood was better, Sara said, “Sister, I think that Brother Darryl is a good man.

Why won’t you accept him?”

“What do you know, Silly Girl?!” Rachel’s face looked awkward as she shouted at Sara. Then, she changed her tone

and said, “I think that Darryl is good too, and I shall try to accept him.”

“Really?”

Sara got emotional when she heard that. “You’ll agree to marry Brother Darryl, Sister? That is great! I shall tell this

good news to Father and Mother; they must be so happy.”

Then, Sara turned to leave so that she could inform everyone else.

Rachel was worried; she quickly pulled Sara’s arms. “Sister, be quiet! How can we spread this news? I feel so

embarrassed.”

Rachel cleared her throat and said seriously, “Oh, yes! There is one thing you need to inform Darryl. Tell him that

his godbrothers, Dax and Chester, had a fight with the Incandescent Sect and were seriously injured.”

Sara was stunned; she did not understand it. “Why don’t you tell him yourself?”

Rachel looked embarrassed. “I told him that I wouldn’t marry him, Silly! It would be too embarrassing for me if I

were to find him now…”

Rachel intentionally raised her voice so that Darryl could hear her from his room.

Darryl opened the door and rushed out of it as she had expected. He stared closely at Rachel and asked, “What did

you say? 1?” Dax and Brother Chester are injured?”
