Chapter 359
Meet My Brothers
Timothyâs icy gaze pierced through Heath. Someone should teach Felix a lesson so that he wouldnât
bother Mia. Breaking his legs might be a good warning for him.
Timothy cleared his throat, his expression slightly awkward. âWhat about Mia?â
âMrs. Barrett? What about her are you asking about, sir?â
âIs this all you know? She mustâve seen the article. Did she not take any move?â As far as Timothy
could recall, Mia didnât like Felix.
That question put Heath in a tough spot. âWeâre still on a business trip, Mr. Barrett. Iâm not her stalker.
How would I know anything about her?â
Timothyâs silence prompted him to continue. âActually, you can ask her yourself.â
Timothy sneered, âYour bonus for the month is revoked.â
If he could ask her himself, he wouldnât have asked Heath.
In the meantime, Heath was shocked by the sudden announcement. What did he do wrong that he lost
his bonus?
Timothy scrolled through his phone, completely laid back. He eventually found Miaâs Twitter
account and he clicked on it.
She tweeted this morning. âSomeone who goes against their word? Thatâs the worst of all kinds.â
His eyes narrowed to a slit momentarily. He had a feeling that it was about him.
When did he go against his word?
Then, he left a comment under that tweet. âSomeone who doesnât respect time? Thatâs the worst of all
kinds.â
Right after he commented on Miaâs tweet, she tweeted a photo. âThe sunlight adds magic to the
campus today.â
Timothy relished in the picture she took. The sunset was indeed breathtaking.
On the other side, Mia noticed his comment. âSomeone who doesnât respect time? Thatâs the worst of
all kinds.â
It ticked her off so much. How dare he!

She had her reasons. Her tardiness wasnât intentional. Besides, she had gone to the courthouse as
soon as she could!
He was the one who was desperate for the divorce, so why couldnât he wait for an hour?
Fury rushed through her veins, reaching her head. In the end, Mia contacted him to demand an
explanation.
Timothy saw the dialerâs name, and a smile appeared. He could sense her boiling anger from that
immediate call already.
Calmly, he picked up the cold.
Her livid voice rang in his ear. âTimothy Barrett, what is that?â
âIt is what it is.â His tone was calm.
âWerenât you the one desperate for a divorce? Youâve been waiting for this day for eons! And why
couldnât you wait for an hour?â That was the part she couldnât understand.
Timothyâs eyelids twitched at that. But his tone remained monotonous. âI couldâve waited. But could you
make a flight wait? I was in a rush for a business trip. I didnât have much time to spare.â
Mia almost choked on her saliva. âYouâre on a business trip? Youâre not in Jeinburg?â
âYes. What else?â
âWhen are you coming back?â
He knew exactly why she asked that.
âNot sure. It depends.â He glossed it over.
Miaâs lips pursed together. âCall me when youâre back in the city. We can make another appointment to
meet at the courthouse.â
That put a damper on his mood more than he expected. He dropped his gaze as he hummed in
response.
