Chapter 637
Meet My Brothers
Mia questioned Timothy, âAre you sure your bodyguard is competent? Would he be bought off and
hand over my daughter instead?â
âHeâs fine,â he answered sternly.
âYou swear that under your name?â
âInstead of demanding a promise, why donât we split up to look for her?â
She left without looking back. He grabbed her wrist and she spun back while raising her hand to slap
him.
But he managed to grab her wrist this time. His eyes were dark. âGive me your contact number. Letâs
keep each other updated when one of us finds the child.â
Mia, who finally kept her cool, exchanged contact with him.
It was a familiar serial number, which he dialed before but no one picked up the call.
His brows furrowed. âI called you yesterday, but no one answered.â
Memories from yesterday crossed her mind and she responded, âThe waves were rough and the signal
wasnât stable when the helicopter came.â
A phone call wasnât something she expected from Timothy. Had she picked up the call, would any of
these never happened?
Right then, Caleb showed up. âThe girl is at the amusement park, no?â
Mia shot him a glare. âWhat an irresponsible father.â
She then headed inside the amusement park to look for the child.
Feeling so wronged to receive that comment, he gave Timothy an innocent look. âTim, would you
believe
me if I said I really didnât know?â
âLetâs find the kid first.â The crease remained between Timothyâs brows.
After a brief talk, they split up to look for the kid.
Caleb stood at the same spot, his hand stroking his chin as he doubted, âDo I really have an illegitimate
daughter?â
No, no. He swore that he had never met Monalize before.
Was this a paranormal activity? Or did he travel to another dimension? If this was truly the life of Caleb
from another dimension, that would explain everything!
Kids were everywhere in the amusement park, playing, crying, and screaming all at the same time.
Timothy couldnât adapt to this kind of noisy place initially, especially where there were so many
children. They were so loud that his head hurt.
If it were in the past, he wouldnât have come to this kind of place. But it was different this time. What if
Ginger got into trouble?
He felt that he should at least find the kid and get her to her mother safely.
He searched the whole place, but there was no sign of the girl. He was already sweating.
Mia met up with him after her search, seemingly anxious. âDid you find her?â
âNo.â
âJust where the hell is she?â She was on the verge of meltdown.
He cooed, âIâve asked my men to guard the entrance. We will receive news from them if she goes
outside.
If thereâs no news from them, she should still be in the amusement park.â
âThereâs another possibility, that she isnât here all along,â she added. That would be the worstâcase
scenario.
Mia couldnât sit still and do nothing. âI have to look for her outside.â
But she stopped in her tracks after taking barely a few steps. She thought she heard her daughter, but
she wasnât sure.
Timothy looked at her. âWhatâs wrong?â
âI think I heard my daughter, but Iâm not sure.â
âWhere?â
She scanned the area. âThere!â
They came to the mentioned area, where a competition seemed to be going on.
du Citing next to her was the exhausted bodyguard.
A parent rebuked, âHey little kid, it is the rules that the parents have to participate with the child. That
man is not your father, so you donât have the right to join.
âYou donât have the right to win the firstâplace prize either!â
