Chapter 642
Meet My Brothers
Maybe it was time for Mia to talk to Ginger about this issue.
Mia strode to Gingerâs side. Ginger won so many prizes that they couldnât fit in her bag. Mia sighed,
âDo
you like them that much?â
It wasnât like Ginger didnât have toys at home.
âYeah! I can only have this by joining the event!â Ginger shook a box.
It piqued Miaâs curiosity. âWhatâs in there?â
âA smartwatch!â
The mention of the gadget reminded Mia of something. She gave Ginger a solemn look. âWhy didnât
you pick up the call? I called you. You even turned off your watch after that. Do you know how worried I
was?â
Ginger dipped her head low. âIt fell in the water. Mr. Bodyguard said that itâll work only when itâs dry
again.
Timothy asked, âIs the prize a smartwatch?â
âBingo!â Her hands quickly fiddled open the box and she proffered it to him. âThis is for you. Youâre
nice!â
âFor me?â he reconfirmed, flabbergasted.
âYes! Mr. Bodyguard told me that my smartwatch was fine. Mom would definitely find me, so I wanted
to give you a gift.â She took out the smartwatch. âItâs a match with mine!â
Timothy grinned at the pink smartwatch, not expecting her to jump through hoops to get a gift for him.
The corner of Miaâs lips twitched the moment she saw the pink gadget. âGinger, donât you think that
pink
is unsuitable for him?â
âBut this is the only color.â Ginger pouted.
âItâs fine.â He took it. âThank you for the gift.â
Gingerâs eyes lit up. âDo you want me to wear it for you?â
This time, he was taken aback as he didnât expect her to be this smooth. But he didnât reject the offer.
Soon, there was a pink smartwatch around his wrist.
Things were getting confusing for Mia. His outfit alone was enough to tell that he was either a rich or a
powerful man.
The pink smartwatch didnât match his expensive suit at all, but he didnât turn down Gingerâs
unreasonable request.
Mia had mixed feelings.
All these years, there were men who tried to approach Mia by earning Gingerâs favor but none of the
attempts succeeded.
It was rare to see Ginger to be this close to an unknown man.
Timothy stood up. In a low voice, he said, âLetâs go.â
Mia held Gingerâs hand. âYouâll get it from me once we get home.â
Ginger shrunk her neck, feeling guilty. Then, she sneakily slid her hand into Timothyâs. She walked
between the adults. Her steps were light like that of a happy bunny.
Caleb, who had been waiting outside the amusement park, watched them approaching.
The three of them looked like a family.
That was why he didnât go up to them when he found them. He was sensible enough to not be the
third-
wheeler.
When the trio reached the entrance, Mia saw Caleb. He was there, but the lazy bum didnât enter to look
for the kid.
Furious, she stepped forward and kicked him. âDo you think being a father is this easy?â
Ginger snorted in disapproval as well. She obviously shared the same notion as her mother.
Hugging his foot, Caleb responded, âMiss, have we even met before?â
He couldnât wrap his head around the situation.
