Chapter 672
Meet My Brothers
Timothy followed her gaze and spotted Luna. Luna appeared to be holding a phone and snapping
pictures.
Suddenly, Luna let out a startled scream. She hadnât anticipated getting caught in the act of spying.
Timothyâs expression instantly darkened.
Mia glanced at him casually and grinned. âMr. Barrett, I donât think today is the right time.â
After saying that, she stepped off the table, adjusted her clothing, and sported a mischievous smile.
With her platinum purse in hand, Mia briskly exited the scene.
Spotting Luna lurking nearby, Mia clicked her tongue in disapproval. âYou must be envious, watching
the man you canât have with another woman, arenât you?â
Luna gripped her phone tightly. âDonât get too cocky. Youâre just a substitute.â
âItâs a shame you canât even fill in as a standâin,â Mia sarcastically remarked, looking down at Luna.
âAnd mark my words. Timothy will mine tomorrow!â
âYou bitch!â
Out of nowhere, Mia delivered a forceful slap that left Luna staggering.
Fixing Luna with a cold stare, Mia warned, âMind your words. There isnât a man on this planet beyond
my reach. Rest assured, once Iâve had my fun, Iâll return him to you.
âMen, you see, are like clothing. Once you grow weary of them, youâll just replace them with something
new.â
Luna immediately called out, âTim, did you hear what she said? Looks like sheâs been deceiving you all
along!â
Mia turned around and spotted Timothy standing at the restaurantâs entrance.
Nonetheless, she didnât display any remorse for being caught, instead flashing a radiant smile. âMr.
Barrett, I look forward to our meeting tomorrow!â
With that, she gracefully stepped into the elevator, even giving Timothy a wink before the doors closed.
Timothy stood in place, observing as Mia disappeared into the elevator, his expression. darkening.
Miaâs nonchalant demeanor and her unwavering confidence that Timothy would take the bait, even
after he overheard their conversation, left him inexplicably unsettled.
It felt like he was being played with.
A fleeting sensation settled in the depths of Timothyâs heart, something intangible slipping through his
grasp.
Now, Monalize seemed to embody that elusive sensation.
âTim did you catch what that woman just said? Sheâs not Mia at all. She probably knew she resembled
Mia and deliberately dressed up to seduce you.â
âShut up!â Timothy snapped back. âHand me the phone.â
Anxiously, Luna responded, âI didnât film anything just now.â
âIf
any photos or videos from today surface, you wonât be able to continue staying in the Barrett family. Iâm
sure you understand the conditions for remaining here.â
With that, Timothy proceeded directly to the elevator.
Luna found herself alone. As she glanced at the disheveled table from earlier, her jealousy surged.
That bitch Monalize was utterly audacious.
Timothy took the elevator back to his room. Caleb approached, looking curious. âHey Tim, how did your
talk go? And whatâs up with your clothes? Your shirt buttons are all over the place.â
Timothy couldnât help but glance at the mirror, recalling the intense scene at the restaurant. He grabbed
a glass of cold water and gulped it down, trying to calm the turmoil within.
At that moment, there was a knock on the door. âIs Mr. Barrett there? Ms. Monalize has a gift for you.â
