Chapter 784
Meet My Brothers
After ending the call, Mia skipped packing and decided to head straight to the rooftop for the helicopter.
However, remembering her encounter with Sharon in the elevator earlier, she chose to be cautious and
took the stairs to the rooftop this time.
Panting heavily, Mia reached the rooftop and pushed open the door.
Her smile faltered as soon as she spotted Timothy standing outside. âWhat areâ¦?â
Turning to face her, Timothy interjected, âYouâre wondering what Iâm doing here, right?â Mia leaned
against the door, catching her breath. She realized she had been caught.
Fortunately, Timothyâs bone marrow sample had already been transported out of Bern City with Ginger.
Thus, even if he had discovered the truth, it would have been too late.
With deliberate steps, Timothy moved closer to her. âAfter all the trust I placed in you, is this how you
repay me? Using me and then walking away like itâs no big deal?â
He had hoped not to find Mia here, but unfortunately, his hopes were crushed.
Facing Timothy, Mia remained composed. âIs this what you call trust? Arenât about being ridiculed for
saying such things?â
you worried
Timothyâs demeanor turned cold. âBut how can you say I donât trust you? Since my bone marrow match
was confirmed, have I ever questioned you?â
Miaâs gaze faltered slightly. âYouâre right, you never questioned me. But your actions suggest otherwise.
If you truly trusted me, you wouldnât be here waiting. You would be resting in the hospital room.â
Timothyâs anger flared at her words. âMia, itâs been four years, and your talent for causing trouble has
only grown!â
Was Timothy supposed to pretend he was unaware and obediently stay in his hospital room.
to demonstrate his trust in Mia?
What kind of absurd notion was that?
Miaâs expression grew cold as she retorted, âIâve told you, Iâm not Mia!â
âDo you really think I believe anything you say at this point?â
âBelieve it or not, itâs up to you. I couldnât care less!â
Just then, Timothy stepped forward, seizing Miaâs wrist. âYou claim youâre not Mia, right? Fine, Iâll bring
Aunt Patricia over to confront you immediately! Heath, go get her!â
âHow dare you!â
Mia shot a glare at Heath before addressing Timothy sternly, âYouâre not allowed to disturb her.â
âWhatâs the matter? Werenât you going to keep pretending?â
Lowering his head, Timothy gazed at Mia and reached out to lift her chin. âMia, itâs been four years, and
youâve hidden your secret so well.â
Suddenly, Miaâs slap landed forcefully, the sound resonating in the air as Timothyâs face turned aside.
A tense silence settled between them.
Miaâs gaze turned cold as she locked eyes with Timothy. âTimothy, letâs get one thing straightâIâm not
the same Mia who tolerated your bullying in the past.â
Upon hearing her admit her identity, Timothy pressed his tongue against his cheek, a faint smile playing
on his lips. âLooks like youâve grown a temper too.â
Mia couldnât stand Timothyâs expression. She tried to slap him again, but this time he caught her wrist.
âEnough, donât push it,â he whispered.
Gritting her teeth, Mia exclaimed, âLet go of me!â
She wanted nothing more than to scratch this bastardâs irritating face!
âAfter finally catching you, thereâs no way Iâm letting go now. I have plenty of questions that need
answers!â
As Timothy glanced behind Mia, he realized that no one was there. His brows knitted in concern as he
asked, âWhereâs Ginger?â
Despite this, Mia remained silent, her concentration fixed on freeing her hand.
Suddenly, a realization dawned on Timothy. âMia, you wouldnât just leave Ginger behind and go off on
your own. Where is she?â
