Chapter 11

In the weeks that followed, Midoriya's stomach got bigger. Bakugo still stopped by occasionally, but he returned to class of his third year in college. Mrs. Midoriya helped Izuku to and from doctors, as well as daily care. He eventually passed his due date, but his girl still wasn't ready. When that day came, he finally got the call he was waiting for.

"Hello, Izuku." The voice said through the phone.

"Todoroki?"

"Yes. And I told you to call me Shoto," Todoroki replied. "How have you been? How's the girl?"

"Well, her due date is today, but she's still not ready for the world."

"Yeah I remembered. That's why I called."

Midoriya pauses. "And that's the only reason you called?"

"No. I also called to apologize to you." Todoroki breathing could be heard through the phone. "I'm sorry I haven't kept in touch. The truth is that my father has been in the hospital. So I had to take over the agency until he recovered. He just got out of the hospital two days ago. I've been so busy working, this is the first time that I've been able to contact you. If you're free this weekend, I would like to take you to my beach house. You can invite Bakugo too."

"Yeah that sounds fun. What day are we going?"

"Well, you and Bakugo can head over there on Thursday at the earliest. I wouldn't be there until Friday evening. It's just sometimes nice to get out of the city."

"That sounds great. I will let Bakugo know." Midoriya responded.

"I'll text you the address. See you this weekend."

"I can't wait to see you!" He said with excitement. "Bye Shoto."

"Bye."

Midoriya hung up first, then dialed up Bakugo to let him know the plan.

The following Friday, Bakugo drove Midoriya to the beach house. Besides his occasional road rage episodes, and now partially melted steering wheel, they made it there in one piece.

Midoriya opened the door with the code Todoroki gave him. They entered and put there stuff in rooms.  It was about 6 pm when they arrived, because Bakugo had a class earlier, as well as Thursday. They then met up in the kitchen.

"What do you want for dinner, Ka-Chan?" Midoriya asked as he opened the fridge. "Todoroki has this place stocked with everything."

Bakugo grabs Midoriya and pulled him away from the fridge. "Deku, just sit down and relax. I can take care of dinner."

Midoriya agreed and sat down. After he watched Bakugo move around the kitchen as he prepared dinner, he asked, "Ka-Chan, how do you feel about all this?"

"About what?"

"The baby?"

"Well, a little anxious. Whether or not she is mine, she had still affected my life."

"I'm scared." Midoriya responded. "I'm afraid of who the father is because they would have to change themselves because of me. I feel it's my fault."

Bakugo turned to face him. "Don't say that. If you are worried about me, don't. If she is mine, you and her will become my priority. You will be completely be mine. And if you wanted a second child, I would do all this again in a heartbeat just to make you happy."

"Ka-Chan! You would do that for me?" Midoriya stood up, excited, and walked up to Bakugo.

"I would, if she is mine. I'd marry you, and we'd buy a house."

The two stared at one another, then slowly the move closer. Bakugo leans down and turned his head. He brings Deku closer and closes his eyes. Their lips graze each other for a second before Midoriya pulled away.

"What the fuck, Deku?" Bakugo starts. He then sees him crying. "What did I do wrong?"

Midoriya, in tears, responded, "no, Ka-Chan, it's not you. It's just that my water just broke. She's finally here."

Bakugo looked down to see the pool they were standing in. "I'm taking you to the hospital." He turns the burners off and calls Mrs. Midoriya as they walked out.

Later, Todoroki unlocked the door and noticed all the lights were still on. He set his keys down and took off his shoes before he scanned the house. When he came into the kitchen he found half cooked food left on the stove and a puddle of liquid on the floor. After confirming that no one was home, he pulled out his phone and called Bakugo.

"Hey, where are you guys?"

"We are at the hospital!" Bakugo yells through the phone. "Get your ass over here. Deku is going into labor."
