Chapter 668

The Love that Never Really Dies

For instance, Yancy killed Solomon's father and fought over Hayes Corporation by using Solomon's

name.

After being rejected by Luke, Solomon left, dejected.

Suddenly, Karl showed up before him and asked, “Mr. Solomon, are you looking for Mr. Hayes?

Please come with me.”

Solomon was startled for a while but got into the car with Karl. Soon, they left the city and headed

toward a remote rural area.

Two hours later, they arrived at a great expanse of wasteland. As the car entered the land, a barrier

appeared out of nowhere.

"Please say the passcode!”

"0113!" Karl responded.

Solomon was struck dumb when a series of numbers in 3D was shown on the barrier. A moment

later, an image of a face appeared.

“Scanning completed. Verification done. Please come in,” the system responded in a mechanic

female voice.

Bam! Suddenly, the wasteland disappeared and turned into a white entrance that rose slowly.

Solomon couldn't believe his eyes.

His mind was still blank when they entered the base.

What is it? Is it some modern technology?

What exactly is Sebastian up to in this piece of wasteland?

Solomon had no idea where he was and why he was brought here.

“Mr. Hayes, we've brought him here.”

When Karl brought Solomon to the center of the base, Sebastian had woken up and was writing

something at the table.

However, Sebastian had to stop after writing for a while due to his injury. Covering his wound with

his hands, he sweated profusely.

That was the sight that greeted Solomon as soon as he walked into the base.

“What happened to you? What's wrong?” Solomon had never seen Sebastian look so disheveled

and pale, as though he would collapse anytime.

After all, Sebastian always looked a lot more imposing than Solomon whenever they encountered

each other.

So, what happened to him?

Is he going to die?

Solomon's eyes suddenly glinted at the thought.

“Rest assured that I'm not going to die yet,” Sebastian scoffed as if he could read Solomon's mind,

and Solomon's expression turned grim immediately.

Infuriated, he asked Sebastian to hide his uneasiness, “So, what do you want? Why did you bring me

here?”

Sebastian responded mockingly, “Don’t you want to see me? Am I wrong to bring you here?”

Solomon was rendered speechless.

"Alright. In that case, you should've known why I'm looking for you. Do you agree to my offer?”

“l don't”

Much to Solomon's surprise, Sebastian rejected his offer without hesitation.

Solomon was infuriated by the answer; he had an emotional outburst and yelled, “Why do you bring

me to this place then? Are you trying to humiliate me and enjoy the pleasure of becoming the

winner?”

As Solomon kept scolding Sebastian, Sebastian didn't utter a word to stop him.

After Solomon finished venting his feelings, Sebastian gazed at him and explained coldly, “I don't

agree to it, for I believe that you're a smart guy. As such, you should choose Hayes Corporation over

a woman who betrayed you many times.”

“What did you say?”

Solomon was stunned upon hearing Sebastian's remark.

“What do you mean by choosing Hayes Corporation?”

“I mean Hayes Corporation that you've always coveted. Solomon, I'm now giving you a chance. Kill

Yancy, and Hayes Corporation will be yours.”

As the light cast a faint glow upon Sebastian's face, Solomon could see his cool and aloof

expression.

The next moment, Solomon jumped, for Sebastian put on a spooky smile as he spoke.

“Are you insane?”

Overwhelmed by shock and anger, Solomon could only come up with a few words.

Sebastian flashed him a faint smile and replied, “She deserves to die, doesn't she? I mean, she killed

your father and abandoned you for so many years. Do you think you can stay alive if Heather and

her husband didn't raise you?”

He stopped for a while and added, “Besides, Sabrina is your biological sister. If Devin didn't save

Sabrina in advance, do you think Yancy would let her go? Also, remember what happened to Sasha

Sebastian clenched his fingers in hatred once he mentioned the name.

Yes, Sasha was also a victim.

A year ago, Sasha fell into Yancy's hands because of rescuing me at the Empire State Tower.

I had no choice but to hide Sasha on a deserted island so that Yancy couldn't harm her. Moreover,

to make sure that she would stay on the island, I even had to give her a drug injection, and thus she

lost her eyesight.

Has he thought about all these?

Solomon shivered once Sebastian finished reproaching Yancy.
