So far this is the longest chapter i have ever written.

I got bored by watching movies the whole day. Diego was at work and he will be coming at night. So it is only me alone in the apartment. My eyes landed on my phone so i picked it up and dialled my mother's number. She picked it up on the second ring.

''Hey Liz! Whats up. You never call at the day time. Is everything alright? Are you fine? Do....''

''Uhh.. Mama i am alright will you please let me say.'' I said listening to her non stop chattering.

''Sorry baby. Now please tell me.'' She asked in her usual sweet tone.

''I got a leave for a week.'' I said smiling.

''Wow! You should come here dear. The last time i met you was three years ago.'' She sniffed and i knew she was crying.

''Don't cry Mama. I love you and miss you alot.''

''Yeah that is why you never come here to meet your parents.''

''You know it that i work for others i can't leave my work and go there. Why don't you come here? You have a boutique mama you could leave it for somedays to your workers.'' I said it thoughtfully.

''No you have to come here thats it.'' She said getting a little mad.

The doorbell rang suddenly and i jumped.

God!!

I went to the door and opened it.

''Ok mama..''

''You should give me the another card to the apartment. I don't like to disturb you....''

I gestured to Diego to shut his mouth but it was too late.

''Liz? Is there a man in your apartment?'' She asked on the phone.

''Umm..yeah..''

Diego gave me a blank look and went straight to his room.

''Oh my God! How is he? What does he do? Is he goodlooking? Is he live...''

''Mama stop it. He is just a...housemate..i..mean he lives in my apartment now in Ben's room.'' I knew she was going to make it a big deal.

''Wow! But you never told me. How is he?''

''He is good.'' I wanted the conversation to end fast.

''Thats it? No way. I want to talk to him. I want to know if he is a good person or not. I know i want you to settle down but not with any man you meet. I want the best for you.''

''Oh mama i am not going to settle with him. I know him for a few days only.'' I started feeling a little irritated.

''Ok fine. But i want to talk to him.'' She said seriously.

''But mama..''

''No but Liz. I want to talk to him now.'' She said in a final tone.

''Fine. Wait i am giving it to him.''

God! She is so infuriating.

I went to his room but he was not there then suddenly the door of the washroom opened and he came out with only a towel wrapped around his waist. I hurriedly turned around.

''Do you need anything?'' He asked.

''No..i..mean my mother wants to talk to you.'' I lifted my phone in the air to show him.

He came infront of me but he was wearing a sweatpant now. He raised his brows at me and i shrugged.

He took the phone and went out to the hall room.

I followed him and sat on the couch.

''Umm..hi Mrs. Miller.'' He said after settling on the couch. I snatched the phone and put the loudspeaker on. He gave me an unbelievable look but i only shrugged.

''Hi. Mr..?''

''Umm..Diego..'' i could see he was a little nervous.

''Oh Diego. How are you? And how do you know Liz?'' She asked in a sweet tone.

''I am fine Ma'am. And i work at the Ashton's too.'' He said hesitantly.

''Oh i see. Umm..i..is Liza hearing?'' My eyes widen and Diego looked at me with a puzzled look.

''Yeah?''

''I knew it. Can you please talk to me privately without that little smarty kitten.'' She said chuckling and Diego started laughing.

''What is so private that you want to say to him.'' I glared at him and said in a loud tone so that my mama could hear it.

But Diego was fast as he went towards his room and locked it still laughing.

Diego's P.O.V:

I closed the door behind me.

Sometimes she really behaves like a child and sometimes i too.

I chuckled and sat on the bed.

But..what is Mrs. Miller upto?

''Yes Ma'am what do you wanted to tell me privately.'' I said feeling a little nervous.

''Actually it is her birthday on Monday.''

Whoa! I didn't knew it.

Ofcourse stupid you hardly know her!

''That's great.'' I said.

''Yeah and she is having a week off so i was thinking of visiting her on saturday so that we can spent the whole Sunday together and i will give a little party for her.'' She said excitedly.

''Nice! That will be great. But why are you giving the party on Sunday when her birthday is on Monday?'' I said smiling.

''Because she is having work on monday you st.. never mind.'' She said laughing a little.

''Oh..''

''Now i want you to inform her close friends or colleagues and invite them for the party. And also you have to decorate the house while i will be away for shopping with Liz. Do you got it?'' She asked in a stern voice.

''Yes Ma'am i will.''

''Thank you so much dear and please tell her that we are coming there and i have told you to not to inform her about this. She will buy it. Now i have work. Bye. See you soon.''

''Yeah..bye.''

She seems to be too smart.

Liz's P.O.V:

He shut the door behind him. I huffed and sat on the couch waiting for him to come out.

What is taking him too long?

After some time the door of his bedroom opened and he came out fully dressed.

''What took you so long?'' I asked crossing my arms on my chest.

''Sorry i was using the washroom and i needed to change my clothes as i am going for an interview.'' He explained looking at his watch.

''What? Where? And you are already working in...''

''Actually i left the restaurant's job. It was very far away from here and i have applied in some restaurants over here.''

''Oh..that is good..but what did my mother told you?'' I asked raising my brows.

''She..i mean..she told me to..marry you.''

WHAT?

''What? No she didn't just tell you t...''

''Hahaha...i was kidding. Ben told me about your mother that how she is so desperate to get you married.''

Thank God!!

''Then?''

''Umm..she told me that they are coming here but they want you to give a surprise. Please don't tell them that i have already told you.'' He said it nervously.

''OMG! Are they really? Wow!! I love them so much.'' And in excitement i hugged Diego.

Oops!

''Sorry..'' i said moving away from him.

''You don't need to be. Now i will be late. See you later.'' He said and went out of the apartment.

Oh God how i miss my working days! How i miss my office room. How i miss...No!

It was friday and i was lying on my bed while reading stories on wattpad. But soon i was bored with the same possessive boyfriend and a shy girl.

Is it really necessary for a girl to be shy? Or a boy to be possessive?

God!! Everyone is writing on the same concept.

Can't they write that 'he was too shy to looked into her eyes but she held his chin and made him looked at her but he again hesitated and averted his eyes but she didn't liked it and claimed his lips.'

Hahaha..that was hilarious.

I can't even imagine a boy behaving liked that.

How Mr. Ashton will look if he starts behaving like that?

Oh God! Hehehe..

Whoa!! From where did he came in my mind?

I put the phone on the bedside table and drifted to sleep.

It was saturday and i was making dinner for my parents because it was no surprise as Diego already told me that they were coming on Saturday.

It was still unbelievable that both of them were coming.

Diego got the job in a nearby restaurant and i am glad that now he didn't need to travel much.

I served everything that i made for them on the dining table. There was only two chairs at my apartment so i borrowed the other two from the family who were living next to my door.

As soon as i set the table the door bell rang and i ran towards it.

It means a lot to me that my parents are visiting me.

I opened the door to see my Mama who was smiling from ear to ear. I hugged her.

''I missed you sooo much.'' I was beyond happy.

''I missed you too baby.'' She cooed.

''Stop calling me that.'' I pouted.

''Haha..but you are still a baby to us.'' My father said.

''Missed you too dad.'' I said and hugged him too.

''Mmmm...from where is that smell coming? I have started feeling hungry already.'' He said and i chuckled.

''I have made your favourite dish dad.'' I said and started walking towards the kitchen.

''Oh that means Diego already told you about our visit.'' They settled their bags in the hall room and followed me to the kitchen.

''Yes Mama. Now please have a seat.''

As soon as we started eating my cell phone started ringing.

''Excuse me.'' I told them and went outside.

I picked up the phone. It was Mel.

''Hi Mel. How are you? I hope you are not affected by any brain disease as you were with him for almost a week.'' I chuckled and she laughed.

''I think i am not. But you will be glad to know that we are back.'' She said in excitement.

Oh..that means he is back..

''Yeah..i am glad that you came. Now you can meet my parents because they are here.'' I smiled.

''Wow! Really? I will surely meet them.''

''Ok now bye they are waiting for me.''

''Bye Liz!''

''Bye.''

I put the phone back on the table and went to them.

I was having dinner with them but my mind was somewhere else.

He is back...

The last time i saw him was...when we were in his office...

He is very stubborn..and...i don't know what will happen when the month is over...

A shiver ran down my spine just by thinking about it.
