Chapter 2122 - Could Not Bear to Leave The Child
The 99th Divorce
Shen Manting looked at him intently before she said, âDear, I think Iâm bleeding again. This thing canât seem to stop the bleeding...â rather weakly.
Shen Luoâan could not help but laugh again. âThis thing isnât meant to stop the bleeding. It merely absorbs the blood when you bleed. Donât be afraid. Youâll be fine after a few days,â he said.
Shen Manting seemed like she did not fully understand what he had just said. She then looked at Shen Luoâan and asked softly, âAm I experiencing what a normal woman would experience? Why havenât I seen such a thing before?â
While she could not remember many things, she was certain that she had never seen such a situation before.
Recently, Shen Luoâan has been behaving rather strangely. âCould it be that he actually planned to make me bleed?â Shen Manting wondered to herself.
âOr perhaps this happened tonight because there was something on his d*** that hurt me,â Shen Manting thought to herself.
Perhaps, he could not bear with it anymore and thus, played along instead, Shen Manting thought.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
The more Shen Manting thought about this, the more anxious she felt. She then looked at Shen Luoâan with a sad expression and said, âDear, you donât have to be considerate about my feelings. You can just be honest with me. Did you hurt me and lie about it because youâre afraid that I will hate you?â
Shen Luoâan laughed even louder before hugging her close to him and whispered, âNo. What Iâve said is true. Donât be afraid. Thereâs nothing to be afraid of.â
Shen Manting looked at him and hesitantly said, âI canât bring myself to believe you...â
âItâs the truth,â said Shen Luoâan. He then led her out of the bathroom and said, âCome here. Iâll explain it to you.â
After they walked out of the bathroom, they could immediately see the dark, crimson bloodstain on their bedsheet.
As Shen Luoâan looked at the dirty mess, rather helplessly, he said, âCome and help me out. Letâs change the bedsheets first.â
Shen Manting was very co-operative and agreed in a low voice, âOk.â
Shen Luoâan quickly took out some bedsheets and blankets. As he removed the dirty sheets, he said, âWomen will experience something called a menstrual cycle. You wonât be able to have babies if you donât menstruate.â
âOh, I see,â said Shen Manting as she nodded her head. However, she soon asked, âThen why didnât I menstruate in the past?â
âBecause you were young back then,â said Shen Luoâan as he looked at her. âUsually, women will menstruate for the first time between the age of 13 to 15. Thatâs the usual case. Thatâs why you probably wouldnât have experienced your first menstruation when you were 12.â
âOh, I see,â replied Shen Manting as she nodded her head. âDid I also menstruate when I was unconscious in the hospital? Isnât it disgusting if I soil the bed every day?â
âNo. Since you didnât eat at all when you were in the hospital, your body lacked nutrients, making it extremely difficult for it to detox and discharge. Thatâs why you didnât menstruate,â said Shen Luoâan. He then placed the soiled sheets into the basket for dirty laundry.
Shen Manting blinked innocently and asked, âDear, since I experience menstruation now then will I give birth to babies?â
She sounded baffled and seemed very puzzled.
Shen Luoâan paused for a moment when he heard her question.
He then turned around and glanced at Shen Manting.
When Shen Manting met his eyes, she stared back at him and said, âI heard that itâs painful to give birth to babies. Dear, can I not have babies?â
When Shen Luoâan heard this, a thought suddenly formed in his mind and he began to obsess with it the more he thought about it.
In the past, no matter how much she hated me, she could not bear to leave the child, Shen Luoâan thought.
âIf she becomes pregnant now, does that mean that she...â Shen Luoâanâs thoughts raced.
