The Rogues

I feel lonely the moment I step out of my pack.

It's so sad to leave the place where I grew up.

Now is not the time for sentiment. I need to find another pack for me and for my wolf to settle in.

I traveled for a few hours. I went to the next pack but their Alpha refused to let me in, he said that

he didn't want conflict with my father.

I almost lost my tract when suddenly I came across a rogue. She's also a girl like me who doesn't

want to be in the pack. Funny, because wolves are made to be in a pack and rogues are the wolves

who can't control themselves and most of their actions are from their wolf until one day it has full

access to your body.

She seems harmless and fun to be with.

"What makes you become a rogue, Kath?" Lily asked.

"That's a long story, but to make it short, I left my pack because I want to find a new life of my own

in other packs,” I explained while eating this newly cooked rabbit. Don't get it wrong. I'm in human

form, I will not eat raw foods.

"If you want, I'm heading to the North. You can talk to their Alpha, he's nice. He let rogues stay in

his pack but in one place only. Like there's a place for rouges like us somewhere there." Lily.

"Is that really possible? I thought that it was against the law of our King?" I asked.

"We don't need to follow the royals all the time! I don't like them, especially the New King. He killed

my brother.” Lily said. I can sense her anger towards the new king. I don't want to ask anything

because I somehow don't agree with her.

"I will not ask you what happened but I will accept your offer to try to talk to the---what pack is it?" I

asked.

I'm not really knowledgeable about other packs because my Dad didn't want me to know anything

about other packs. He just wants me to stay hidden

"The Alurious Pack of Alpha Duren.” She said.

"I hope he accepts me with open arms since I am the daughter of Ramus, the Alpha of Omnirous,” I

said.

"YOU'VE GOT TO BE FUC***** KIDDING ME?! You have Alpha blood?" She said, not really believing

in what I had said.

"Why? What's the matter?" I asked curiously.

"Never in my life had I heard that there's a she-wolf alpha bloodline. Usually, the Alpha will only

have Male-wolf, you are somehow special and rare. I think you're the first one.” She said.

"I don't know about that? Maybe that's the reason why my Mom is always protecting me and not

letting anyone touch me. She said that I'm special and no one deserves to touch me.” I remember

when I was ten, the same years my mother died, she told me that I am special, a kind of gift from

the Moon Goddess.

"I think so. I know Alpha Duren will open his pack to you. You're a gem to him for sure.” She said.

"Why would I be a Gem to him?"

"You will know if you meet him." She pours water onto the bonfire. "Come on, let's sleep, and

tomorrow I will bring you there.

'I don't trust her." My wolf warned me and I believed her. Maybe I am naive about everything, but I

can sense something is wrong with this girl, but still..... I need to try her proposal, but I will be

careful. I trust my wolf, we both need a pack to start our new life and her offer is too hard to ignore.

We need to be considerate; after all, I am a rogue now.

The moment the sun shows, we start our way to the Alurious Pack. We shift to our wolf. Lily was

surprised by the size of her wolf and her color. Lily's wolf is brown while mine is silver grey.

Lily seems to know everything in this land. She keeps telling me which way is the safest and which

we cannot come across because it's a boundary of other packs.

She shifted back to her human form

"Kath, we need to shift back and walk from here. I don't want to alarm Alpha Duren's pack about

our arrival," Lily said.

I hurriedly ran into the tree and wore my clothes.

I follow Lily and I can feel that I am now entering Alurious pack territory.

"This is where we are going to stay, they are all rogues,” Lily said.

I look at my surroundings, this is very rare. Almost thirty rogues resided in one place.

"How does Alpha Duren manage all of you?"

"Just an agreement. Don't worry, he will be here later. I will introduce you to him and we can ask

about your stay here. For now, the cottage on the left will be yours." She pointed to the cottage

next to her. "Rest, I will wake you up at dinner.” She said before leaving me and entering her own

cottage.

Houses here are made of cottages, but when you go inside, it's very neat with a self-bathroom. Nice

concept.

'I don't feel safe here' my wolf said.

I know what she’s up to. Surrounded by rogues is like having one foot under the ground, but I need

to calm down and wash. I feel dirty in my clothes. After staying in the forest and running all day, I

smell disgusting.

There is only a wall that reaches under my chin to cover my body inside the bathroom they made. I

take off my clothes when suddenly someone enters my cottage.

"SH*T!!! What the hell?" I shouted.

"Sorry, I thought this cottage was still empty,” he said

"GET OUT!" I shouted.

"Okay relax, I didn't see anything.” He said before leaving.

I take a bath as quickly as possible; I don't want to be exposed again. I changed into jeans and a

plain white shirt and headed to a small bed where I could take a nap for a couple of hours while

waiting for Lily for dinner.

I closed my eyes and fell into my dreamland again.

I can see his body changing into a wolf. Every inch of his body was shaking and cracking due to his

first shift.

My wolf dances inside of me with his sight.

“Our new King" she said in my head.

He changed into his human form and all I could see was the perfection of his glorified body.

We look at each other and when we're about to kiss me... Someone pushed me, causing me to fall

to the floor.

"What the hell?" I shouted while collecting my senses.

“It's dinner already sleeping beauty, come on and eat with us. I will introduce you to some friends of

mine.” She said while helping me to stand.

"Okay, thank you and sorry for yelling at you."

"It's fine, let's go, they are waiting for us outside, and knowing my friends, I assure you that if we

stay longer here, there's no food left for us when we get there.”

She drags me out of my cottage not bothering what I look like.

"Tomy, Bill, Edward, Clariss, and Cheska, this is Kath... she's now part of our family,” Lily said.

"Really? It's nice to have another girl in this group since I'm so disgusted with those males,” Cheska

said.

I looked at the man who looked like he was hiding his face from me. I know him.

"So, it's Tomy hah?" I said, looking angry at this man.

"Hey, Tom, what trouble have you brought for yourself now? She looks like she’s going to kill you.”

Clariss.

"I didn't know that someone was occupying the cottage next to Lily's, it just happened that I wanted

to sleep, and then I saw her naked.” He looked at me "but I didn't see anything because she was

inside the bathroom. I only see her face, that's all."

“Really Tomy? Then why are you blushing?” Lily teased

"You freaking bastard. I swear if you do that again I will kill you.” I said.

"Ohhhhh BURN!!!" Bill and Ed said in union.

They are the funniest guys I ever know except for my friends in my old pack.

"So, Kath, are you really going to be Alpha Duren pack members?" Bill

We are not seated at our table eating.

"Yes, I really love to be in a pack and be a fighter," I said

"So, you have the skills?" Ed

"Maybe, I don't want to just say it. I will prove it to the Alpha and hope he accepts me." I explained.

"Prove me what?"

Everyone stood up when they heard the speaker's voice.
