chapter 14

Gloria Pov

This is turning out to be harder than we expected, we had a long morning cuddle session and short breakfast before we had to get going

Both of us made sure to give her a extra long hug and plenty of kisses, we also gave her, her own cell phone

It was a royal phone, a bit more advanced than the normal phone, it can't be traced and all that

She looked upset watching us go, both of us gave Duke specific instructions to make sure she's safe and taken care of

We also alloted 4 guards to take her to her old apartment and pack up whatever she feels she needs and anything else that she wants

They are to pack all that up and make it back by 1 PM, then she will have lunch in her own room, which is yet to be decorated

One of the maids, who Bella has met a couple of times is going to bring it to her and leave, I hope she eats her lunch.... It's been the one time both of us make sure to be with her, and help her with it

And me and Vivian both told her to take a nap after lunch, to get energy for the ball, but we honesty don't know how much or how little she's going to listen

We should have enough time to call her twice and check in on her, I hope that makes her day a little better, because when we left her she looked absolutely miserable

"Come on babe, we need to stand up in 2 minutes, the sooner we get done with this the sooner we can check up on Isabella" Vivian spoke softly

I nodded and we both stood up, looking around the kingdom to make sure everything was okay, it was quite a long walk walking around the whole kingdom

But we only do this once a while, it's worth it, both of us waved back to anyone who waved at us and had conversations with a couple of shop owners

I spotted a toy shop near the east End of the kingdom, I'll make sure to check it out on the way back, maybe get something for little one...

Isabella Pov

Today was a yucky day, vivi and ria had to take care of some stuff in the town, make rounds or something

I had to go to my apartment with Duke and get some more of my stuff to bring here, the guard who went before only bought some limited items

I am upset, because I wanted them to come too! They promised they will call me at least once to check up and I'll have Duke with me all the time

I know he won't let anything happen to me, but I'm gonna miss both of them, it's not nice to be without them, and the sense of safety they provide me

I pocketed my phone inside my jeans, and checked to make sure once again that I have my apartment keys and walked out of my room

I wasn't feeling very little because neither vivian Or gloria were here and I was with 4 strangers....

I sat in the backseat, Duke right beside me, 2 guards in front and 2 at the back "are you ready miss Isabella?"

One of them asked me and started driving after I gave him a nod, Duke rested his head on my lap, calming me a little and I looked outside watching the trees pass by and the towns buildings flying by us

It was weird how you can trust someone in such a short amount of time, but i trusted gloria and vivian with everything

And it sucks even more after spending the night with them last night and that talk with vivian, it just made me want them close to me even more

"We are here miss" One of the guards said softly, I snapped out of my thoughts and saw the car parked right under my apartment building

I nodded and tapped Duke softly, he moved his head from my lap getting off first and I followed behind him

He didn't have a leash so I was a little worried but he stayed by my side, happy to walk with me looking up every couple of seconds

It felt awfully weird to make the walk up to my apartment, the place I once used to call home.... But it was not that anymore

All four of them followed me inside with foldable cardboard boxes and tape "let us know anything you need us to pack miss" One of them said

He was one of the kinder guards, he gave me a small smile and they looked around the place that used to be mine

"Uh can I have two boxes for my clothes and other stuff?" I asked softly, I didn't want strangers going through my stuff

"Yes miss" Was all he said and handed me my boxes, letting me make my way to my bedroom and start packing my clothes, Duke decided to settle on my bed, keeping a Watchful eye on me

"Um can one of you please pack all the books from the living room?" I slightly peeked out my head telling them

All four of them sat around my dinning table, and nodded, I decided to hurry up and pack what I could

I didn't have a lot of little stuff, but it was still something, my stuff toys, paci's, I only have two onesies and some pull up's left which the guard left along with my toys

Within 30 minutes I finished packing up my closet and part of my bathroom, that's really all I needed from here

Maybe I'll take a few of these photo frames to keep around my room I picked up the one on my desk and side table and shut the box

"I'm done in there, when can we leave?" I asked no one in particular walking out of my room, Duke sharp on my heels

I looked around the living room trying to think of anything else to bring, but nothing stood out in particular

"We just need to take all the boxes to the car miss and we're all good to go" The really tall one replied and I nodded back at him

"Are you done in there?" Another one asked, making me nod again "yes the two boxes on the bed and the suitcase" I said softly

I sat down on my sofa, looking at my empty bookshelf, I felt my pocket vibrate and I pulled out my phone seeing Gloria's name flash on the screen

I swiped the green button and I saw Gloria's face appear in front of me, Vivian's a little away both of them looking at me

"How's the packing going little bug? Gloria asked softly, and I felt myself tearing up already, I want them here...

"i'ts okay" I replied softly sniffling a little "hey hey honey, no need for tears baby girl, what's the matter?" Vivian asked, her face filled with concern

"Wan you bo'th he're" I said softly, a few tears making their way down my cheek making my sniffle lightly

"Oh sweet girl, belive me we'll both rather stay with you more than anything, but only a little while longer and we can cuddle again" Gloria said softly with a smile

It wasn't one of her usual smile but she was trying to cheer me up, so I nodded softly and wiped my cheek, giving a small 'mhmm' in response

"Are you all done at your apartment?" Vivian asked making me nod again "all done"

They both smiled again blowing me flying kisses making me giggle "oh right honey, aunt Megan will drop by once you go back, just to talk for a little bit and then it's lunch time alright?" Vivian explained softly

My eyes widened slightly at the mention of aunt megan, and I shook my head fiercely "no wanna meet her alone" I mumbled softly

I didn't mind aunt megan, and Gloria and vivi made sure to explain to me that it was just a accident, but I wasn't comfortable enough meeting her alone

"It's alright baby, I'll let her know she can have a talk later" I nodded "I gotta eat?" I asked with a pout

Vivi and ria made food fun and I know it wasn't going to nearly as much fun eating without them "can you try and eat a little bit for us little one? Just a bit okay?" Vivian said with a soft smile

"M'kay, come back after nap?" I asked again, mostly to make sure weather they remember or not "yes sweetheart we'll be back after nap time, we gotta go now okay? We'll call you back in a little bit, be careful on your way back baby" Gloria said in a gentle tone

I didn't want them to go.... We barely had a talk for 15 minutes and they're already going again "shhh I know sweet girl, I know, just a bit longer alright?" I nodded silently not trusting my voice at the moment

With that the call ended and the screen went black "we are ready miss" I jumped up slightly looking at the guard who apologized instantly

I walked out, making sure locking nicely after me and sat at my usual seat, Duke finding my lap once again

I couldn't wait for both of them to come home already, it feels like it's been ages and not just a couple of hours

But it made me really happy that both of them made sure to check up on me even when they're having a super busy day and plan everything for me in advance

I let my thoughts run wild, looking at the castle at the distance, the place that feels like home to me

There we go, we're definitely facing a lot of separation anxiety from both sides.... In the next chapter Vivian and Gloria get back!
