Gu An’an hung up the video call and when she was about to turn around, two arms appeared from behind and hugged her waist. The man lightly lifted her up and her bum left the ground, raising her high up.

“Aiya, Lu Yan, what are you doing?” An’an protested.

Lu Yan placed her down on the bed.

An’an got up, trying to escape. But she hadn’t managed to succeed. Lu Yan got on the bed, pinning her down.

With his tall build, he pinned An’an down and though he was already 41 years old, he was still suave and appeared young. If anyone were to witness this scene, their great age difference really made it feel like some kind of taboo.

Lu Yan lifted his hand to unbutton her coat, his voice slightly husky as he said, “Let’s continue.”

They were interrupted by that video call earlier on!

An’an blushed crimson, her voice soft and sweet as she quickly pressed his hand down, looking in the direction of the nursery. Looking at the two cribs, Little Yan and Little An’an were both sleeping inside. “I want to check on our babies~”

“I just checked on them, they’re sleeping well.”

Lu Yan leaned forward, kissing her on the lips.

An’an had no way of resisting him, she could only place her hands on his shoulder and accept her fate. Though they had been married for more than a year, she was still very shy about it.

On the other hand... he was too mature.

He was a good father, having twins only at age 40 and he was even more delighted than anyone else, he was really cautious and took great care of them.

When Little Yan and Little An’an got hungry at night or when they needed a diaper change, he would do all of them personally. She had enough breastmilk to feed them but he was worried about her being tired out and so Little Yan and Little An’an were fed formula milk at night.

There was once she woke up at night and saw him carrying one baby in each arm, coaxing them with patience. After being married for more than a year, they hadn’t fought even once.

While he doted on Little Yan and Little An’an, he also doted on her. He took care of his wife and children really well.

Lu Yan looked at her with furrowed brows, noticing that she had forgotten to close her eyes again. She had bright and clear pupils that were so innocent, she flustered as he kissed her, but her gaze was still filled with adoration for him.

The corners of his lips kicked up, even as time passed, their relationship remained sweet as they loved each other dearly.

He unbuttoned her coat, there wasn’t much left inside, only her bra.

When she was having a video call just now, she had to pull her collar together and was cautious.
