Chapter 1324 - I Love You (7)
Young Master Gu, Please Be Gentle
Gu Mohan had just bandaged his wounds and taken off his black shirt. He was about to get into the shower when he heard his room door slam open.
When he looked back, he saw a lithe figure walk in. It was Tang Moâer.
âTang Moâer, donât you knock before entering someone elseâs room?â Gu Mohan asked with a frown.
Seemingly unabashed, Tang Moâer looked at him. His top half was bare while his bottom half was clad in black trousers with a black leather belt around his slim waist. His sexy tan abs and clear cut lines of his abdomen were enough to make any person salivate.
She froze and then quickly raised her small hands to cover her face. Flustered, she said, âYouâre mistaken, Mr Gu. I came here to check on your wounds, not to look at your assets!â
Assets?
Gu Mohan was speechless.
Gu Mohan fixed his chilly eyes on her and said, âAre you happy now? Still going to wear these dresses to go flirt with other men in the future?â
He was reprimanding her.
Tang Moâer peeked through her fingers secretly and said, âYou think I like wearing these dresses? I was afraid that you were going to be attracted by Yu Rubing who had prepared so many sexy swimsuits just to flaunt in front of you. Thatâs why I wore a short skirt. Donât worry, I wonât lose to anyone when it comes to seducing men.â
With that, she humphed and said, âBut I donât want to seduce any other men. The only person I want to seduce is you!â
Gu Mohanâs eyes darkened. How was she so confident?
But she was right to be confident. When it came to seducing men, Tang Moâer was second to no one.
âBut you really are dumb, Tang Moâer. There were so many yachts for you to board and you boarded the one with the pervert Mr Parsons?â
Tang Moâer was speechless.
Tang Moâer had no comeback. She was usually blessed with great luck, yet somehow had ended up boarding the pervert Mr Parsonsâs yacht!
âYou were looking for me?â Gu Mohanâs tone changed.
Tang Moâerâs eyes lit up and she nodded her head profusely. âI do have something I want.â
âSpeak then!â
âI came across Yu Rubing just now and she seemed to be in some trouble. You should check up on her in her room.â
Gu Mohanâs expression remained neutral as his thin lips curved into a faint smile. âWhy not check on her yourself since youâre so concerned?â
Tang Moâer stared at him in silence.
She thought for a while and retorted, âMr Gu, Iâm not lying. Yu Rubing seemed to be in real trouble. We just caught Mr Parsons and Iâm afraid that something might have happened to her.â
Gu Mohanâs eyes darkened further as he re-buttoned his black shirt and walked out.
...
Gu Mohan walked over to Yu Rubingâs room and raised his hands to knock on the door.
But he suddenly heard voices coming from the inside. Yu Rubing was panting seductively, and there was a manâs voice as well...
He frowned as he quickly figured out what was happening inside.
Tang Moâer!
She had done this on purpose! She wanted him to hear this for himself!
This brazen woman!
Gu Mohan turned around suddenly and froze. Tang Moâer was standing right behind him and their bodies were now flush against each other. Her soft, beautiful face enlarged in his eyes and he caught a whiff of her fragrance.
Those large, watery eyes of hers were fixated on him, and then she tiptoed to kiss his thin lips.
Gu Mohanâs breath quickened as he couldnât ignore the sounds coming from the room, Her soft lips pressed on him, and like a normal man, he was aroused.
He placed his large palms on her slim waist and pushed her away roughly. âWhat do you mean by this?â
Tang Moâer reached out to hug his neck and spoke seductively, âI should be asking you this instead. Mr Gu, what is your relationship with Yu Rubing?â
Gu Mohan scoffed and pushed her away before leaving.
...
Tang Moâer chased him all the way back to his room but he said coldly, âGet out!â
âI can leave, but you have to answer my question first.â
Gu Mohan glared coldly at her and snapped, âWhat exactly am I supposed to explain? That Yu Rubing is not actually my fiancée and is actually my cousin? That I havenât had a single woman by my side these past three years? Or is it that I clearly said I would marry someone else if you left me three years ago yet never did so? Or that I havenât forgotten you at all these past three years and canât go a single minute without thinking of you, that my love for you hasnât been reduced a single bit and that I still love you deeply?â
Tang Moâerâs eyes reddened. He had said it. He had finally admitted it.
He had been thinking of her these three years...
He had loved her all this time.
Gu Mohanâs eyes were bloodshot. âYouâve already heard what you wanted to hear. Are you satisfied now? Are you proud now? Tang Moâer, Iâm the one who always loses in this relationship. You can leave now and close the door behind you. I want to rest.â
Gu Mohan turned around, ready to take his forgotten shower and his raging emotions.
But he had only taken two steps before Tang Moâer pounced on him and wrapped her arms around his slim waist.
âLet go of me!â
He tugged at her hands, wanting to push her away.
âMr Gu,â Tang Moâer said as she closed her eyes and tears rolled down her face like pearls from a broken necklace. âIâve missed you these three years as well. I love you, as deeply as you love me.â
Gu Mohan felt wetness on his back. She was crying. Her hot tears burned his skin, all the way to his heart.
âIâm so sorry, Mr Gu. I left you three years ago in order to save Yeming. I can only apologize... itâs fine if you donât forgive me. I will use the rest of my life to love you properly and protect you. There will be no one else, just you and me.
âAnd itâs not that I didnât want to return three years ago. Three years ago, my body was poisoned with AR which made me age quickly. The car crash that year broke my knees and I had fallen into the ocean along with the car. I was lucky to not have died and was washed to Paradise Island by the waters.
âIn these three years, I had grown into an ugly hag with wrinkles all over my body. I didnât even dare look into the mirror at all, I was so ugly! Every day I gazed at the sun rising from the east, I wondered if I would have a tomorrow. How could I bear to face you like that? How could I bear to give you hope if...â
Gu Mohanâs pupils shrank. He had no idea. He had no idea at all...
He wanted to turn around.
But Tang Moâer was hugging him too tightly, burying her small face in his back, not letting him turn around. She wanted to have a proper conversation with him.
âMr Gu, Iâm so sorry. I was too afraid to tell you all this, too afraid to let you see me, too afraid to let you come to me. I know I was selfish and unfair to you, but deep down, I know that you could never hate me. Maybe we can spend more time together from now on but...
âWhen I left three years ago, I wanted to be the most beautiful Tang Moâer in your eyes, the most beautiful red rose in your heart and the most beautiful woman you had ever been with. I want to give you all the most beautiful things I own.â
