Chapter 1381 - Confession

It was a ploy. Lu Yeming had found a body double to sleep with her.

And now she was pregnant with a bastard.

Lu Yeming had never touched her before.

Dongfang Ruoli stood in stunned silence. It felt as though she had been punched in the gut and she reeled back as if she had been slapped. She looked at the man in front of her. Lu Yeming was extremely tall and shone radiantly. He lowered his handsome face to look at her, his gaze so cold it froze her to her bones.

He really had no feelings for her at all.

“Your Highness, you... you actually...”

Dongfang Ruoli felt a sharp pain in her abdomen. She reached down only to find her hand soaked in blood.

She was having a miscarriage.

Lu Yeming looked at Dongfang Ruoli and said coldly, “You have committed adultery and treason and these crimes need to be punished. You will step down from your Empress position immediately and be locked up for life.”

With that, Lu Yeming turned and left.

As he passed by Fan Men, he added another instruction silently, “I want her entire face ruined.”

Fan Men nodded. “Yes, Sir.”

Jun Xiqing got off the plane. She was back in Country Z. As she entered the main lobby of the airport, she heard many girls chatting noisily.

—-Did you hear? Dongfang Ruoli has been removed from her position.

—-Who cares why? The most important thing is, Country Z’s Emperor is single now!

From beside her, Ping Ping whispered to her in a small voice, “Your Highness, the story of the ruined Empress Dongfang Ruoli has already spread like wildfire. President Lu is finally single, igniting the hopes of so many young women.

Lu Yeming walked down from the stairs.

Everyone in the crowd surged over in a huddle.

When Jun Xiqing looked at Lu Yeming’s eyes, it was as if he was looking straight at her.

Then he continued in a low voice, “You told me you wanted us to be honest with each other yesterday. Alright, I’ll promise you then.”

Jun Xiqing’s long lashes quivered and her eyes reddened.

Her heartbeat quickened.

“Keep your ring on. You’re not allowed to take it off.”

The words burned into her mind.

Jun Xiqing could no longer hear what he was saying. Hot tears rolled down her bright eyes and wet her eyelashes lowering her eyes to look at her toes. Suddenly, she smiled foolishly.

She felt so childish.

Ping Ping was overjoyed. “Your Highness...”

Jun Xiqing quickly gathered herself and said, “Ping Ping, let’s go.”

They entered the Presidential car and Jun Xiqing took out her phone to send a message: I’ve missed you too...

He had been waiting for her reply all this time for the past three years.

And now she had given him her reply.

Her phone rang as Lu Yeming replied: I think you should return the ring to me.

Jun Xiqing: Why?

—-I put it on the wrong finger yesterday. It should be on your ring finger.

That would mean he was proposing to her.

When Jun Xiqing read his message, her red lips curved into a smile. She didn’t reply.

He sent another message: You’re scared?

Yes, she wasscared. She hadn’t thought of marrying him at all.

Jun Xiqing froze before raising her eyes slowly to look at Ping Ping.

Ping Ping continued with a serious expression, “Your Highness, Elder Sis has secretly contacted many important ministers. I think she plans to... revolt.”

As soon as the words were out of her mouth, the temperature dropped drastically. Ping Ping didn’t dare say another word. She knew what was most important to Her Highness. Her home and her family.

Putting her phone down, Jun Xiqing glanced sideways out of the window. The setting sun was beautiful.

“Ping Ping, I want you to do two things for me.”

“Yes.”

“First, I want you to announce that we’ve captured a confidant of Yuan Ming who is likely to disclose something, second...”

Jun Xiqing paused and said, “Second, bring me my commander’s seal. I will order Ah Da to lead the Wolf Iron Steed Troop to lie in ambush outside the President’s residence tonight. My falling cup will be the signal for them to nab the thief and get rid of all our problems.

Ping Ping’s eyes were red. Her Highness was so intelligent and her plans were second to none.

But her heart must really be hurting.

As Jun Xiqing watched the sunset outside her car, the cold wind started coming in, freezing her hands and legs. Long lashes fluttered closed.

As night fell, the President’s residence was enveloped in darkness. Upon her return, Jun Xiqing immediately began dealing with state affairs. Her Elder Brother, Elder Sister, and Second Sister all requested to meet her but she turned all of them down.

She was still reading all her documents on her table when Ping Ping pushed the door open. The situation outside was in chaos right now yet she remained calm and steady, a trait that made people admire her.

“Your Highness, someone has infiltrated to try and get to the prisoner. We have captured her.”

Jun Xiqing finished signing her name and put down her fountain pen. “So they couldn’t wait a single moment huh. Let’s go, let’s see who she is.”

Ping Ping pushed open the door and Jun Xiqing walked in. In the room was the ashen Jun Xiyan.

“Elder Sister.”

Jun Xiyan turned to face her and said icily, “You never captured a confidant of Yuan Ming. You set this up to capture me!”
