âThat means he still needs to work on his acting skills.
Jojo: Come on, Aaron, have some congee. Aaron: Well, thank you..
I suddenly feel sorry for Aaron. Having a sister like this must be tough.â
As Aaronâs fans watched the livestream, they couldnât help but feel sorry for their idol and husband.
Simone and her group didnât go to the farmersâ homes to find work that day. Instead, they stayed in the
yard, with Simone fixing electrical appliances and tutoring the children in the village, while Zac and the
other two continued teaching their classes.
During lunchtime, each family of the children who came to learn prepared a dish for them, discussed.
As a result, Simoneâs group had a table full of food for lunch without having to go out.
Zac took a picture of the dishes and shared it in the group chat.
Zac: We have a table full of food without going out. Iâm afraid we wonât be able to finish it all.
On the other hand, Aaron and the others heard the notification sound on their phones and
absentmindedly opened the group chat.
Instantly, the four of them were speechless.
Aaron nearly swore out loud. âI shouldnât have clicked on it.â

As Leyla looked at the picture of the abundant dishes on the table and then back at the bowl of noodles
in front of her, she suddenly regretted her decision to choose this group.
That day, they found a job helping with rice harvesting. Jodie and Leyla didnât go to the fields to harvest
paddy but instead bundled the paddy harvested by others and loaded it onto hand carts.
However, they couldnât last even an hour and began to feel their backs and hands aching. Their work
became slower and slower.
Leon and Aaron helped with rice harvesting in the field and only managed to persist for a little over an
hour.
Naturally, the host was not satisfied with their work, and the lunch provided was just a bowl of chicken
noodle soup.
Just then, Leyla suggested, âShould we go teach the village children singing and dancing too?â
Yet, Jodie vetoed the idea immediately. âI donât think we should. Otherwise, the other group might think
we want to steal their students. It was Simoneâs idea to teach the village children. I donât want to do the
same thing as her.â
Her reason left Leyla speechless. âBut weâre really not good at this job today. The host said that if we
continue like this in the afternoon, they wonât pay us.

This hou didnât mind making them look bad at all.
Jodic also found it quite frustrating. âHavenât we already done enough? The host today is too
demanding.
After some thought, she suggested, âWhy donât we go to town to make some money? Simone and her
group have been learning shadow puppetry these past few days. Itâs much more interesting than just
doing manual labor. If we want to stand out in the livestream, we need to figure out a way.â
Leon asked, âBut how? Do we look for jobs?â He really didnât want to harvest rice anymore. Since he
had never done such labor before, he was experiencing soreness in his back and pain in his hands.
To make things worse, the sun was scorching in the afternoon. Being out in the fields under its intense
rays left their faces several shades darker and even caused sunburn.
She suggested, âWe can perform. I can play the guitar, Aaron can dance, and both you and Miss Morse
can sing.â She had learned to play the guitar with Luca before.
This morning, she discreetly asked one of the production staff behind the live stream camera. The
person said that her yoga practice wasnât generating as much interest as Simoneâs martial arts
practice, and there was a significant difference.
This upset her; she couldnât understand why her graceful yoga practice couldnât compete with Simoneâs
rough martial arts practice. What were the viewers thinking? So, she came up with an idea to
showcase her versatility to her audience.
When she suggested the plan, the other three didnât object. After all, they were all tired of manual labor
and didnât find rice harvesting or paddy bundling appealing. Performing would likely be more enjoyable.
Thus, they discussed the idea with Jonah. He not only didnât oppose it but also provided them with a
car to take them to town. Their livestream does need some changes to make it more interesting.
While they were heading to town, Simoneâs group visited the home of the old man who made shadow
puppets. The old man had already prepared the puppets needed for their performance and now
needed to rehearse with them.

He began by saying, âIâll teach you how to manipulate the shadow puppets, and then you can provide
the voices for the characters youâre holding. But thereâs still an issue that needs to be resolved;
otherwise, the performance will have a flaw.â
Eric asked, âWhatâs the issue?â

The old man explained, âThe music. When we performed shadow puppetry in the past, my son was
responsible for the music. Sigh. Unfortunately, heâs no longer with us, and my grandson isnât skilled at
playing those instruments. So, we may need your production team to find someone who can play the
instruments.â
Sitting in a corner of the room, Jonah asked, âSir, what musical instruments are needed for the music?â
To answer the question, the old man took them to a separate room and pointed to a cabinet filled with
various instruments. âThese.â

When Jonah and the others looked over, they found a drum, castanets, fiddle, dulcimer, flute, and
trumpet.
The elderly man said, âI can play the castanets and flute, but Iâm not skilled with the other instruments.â
Jonah looked a bit troubled. âThen weâll need someone skilled in playing drums, fiddles, dulcimers, and
trumpets. We might have to find someone from outside, but Iâm not sure if theyâll make it in time.â
Their performance was scheduled for the day after tomorrow, and it would be challenging to bring in
several skilled musicians from out of town in such a short time.
At this moment, Simone raised her hand. âWhy donât I give it a try?â
Everyone in the room looked at her in complete surprise. Does she know how to play the instruments
too?
