Chapter 248 - Scream as Loudly as You Can

No one knew about the deal in the bar.

Jing Yichen was not God. He couldn’t keep a track of everyone’s whereabouts at all times nor was he able to predict everything. He just tried to take preventive measures and handled every accident to the best of his ability, as and when it occurred.

So far, he had been doing well and all was going according to his plan.

He spent most of his energy upon his wife. He went shopping with her, took a walk with her, and played tennis with her. They were living a steady and happy life.

He had already dealt with every small crisis that popped up on different occasions.

Now, he was going to present to his wife that person, who should have died ages ago.

Sitting in the car, Shangguan Ning asked him in confusion, “Where are we going?”n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

With one hand on the steering wheel, the other on her smooth hair that had grown an inch longer, Jing Yichen said softly, “To your home.”

“What are we going to my home for?”

“Yang Wenshu is back from South Korea. She is there right now.” Jing Yichen said calmly.

Yang Wenshu had been forced back home by Jing Zhongxiu’s men. She had tried to escape many times but was caught every time. Of course, she had to go through much bitterness after being captured back every single time. She had become nearly inhuman after being tormented so many times.

Shangguan Ning’s hands clenched together. Hatred flashed across her eyes. But she said in a calm tone, “Okay, let’s go.”

A clash was going on at this moment at Family Shangguan’s villa.

“Who is this crazy woman? Get out of here! Butler. This is not a homeless shelter. Stop letting beggars in. You better leave, as well. I don’t want an incapable man working for Family Shangguan.”

“Shangguan, I am Wenshu! Please save me from those people. They are so vicious. They almost killed me. You must take revenge for me and throw them all into the prison.”

Shangguan Zheng looked at the filthy woman, disdainfully. He couldn’t believe that she was his elegant wife.

He had been very busy recently and barely came home. He had nearly forgotten that his wife was going through plastic surgery in South Korea!

For some reason, there were always people in A City coming to ask him for help and every time he was able to finish the deed without many difficulties.

He was now the chief consultant of government’s consulting commission of A City and was also involved with several commission members to talk about national affairs and read through each clause and article of the policies. He even went out on business and visited different cities to learn about the administration experience of other cities and provinces.

He liked the feeling of being in a high position and was enjoying being surrounded by others. He wanted to be a shining star whom everyone admired and looked up to!

What Shangguan Zheng didn’t know was the Jing Yichen was behind all of this.

Jing Yichen tried to keep him busy so that he would not have time to plot something else. The plan turned out to be successful and he had no time to come to Shangguan Ning and ask her to help him get the position of Mayor again.

“Get out of here now. I am too busy to care about some beggar. Butler, get her out!” Shangguan Zheng ordered the Butler to throw her out without even taking a good look at her. He tossed a few bills towards her.

“I have been married to you for so many years and have worked so hard for you and the family. Don’t you dare to drive me away with just a few hundred yuans? No way! Shangguan Zheng, I want properties, I want money. I own this house and my name is on many other properties too. Don’t you dare deny it!”

Yang Wenshu roared and screamed, kneeling on the ground like a crazy woman.

The moment she said the words, a cold voice arose, “You are not getting any penny from this family. It is time for you to pay!”

Hearing the voice, Shangguan Zheng and Yang Wenshu both turned towards the door.

Shangguan Ning walked in with Jing Yichen following her. He was like a royal guard, there to protect and defend her.

Yang Wenshu instantly went crazy at the sight of her. She let out a creepy scream and then pulled a knife out of her sleeve, rushing towards Shangguan Ning.

Yang Wenshu used to be fast, but due to the torment she went through in South Korea, she had lost her sharpness. She was stiff and unstable.

Shangguan Ning grabbed the knife from Yang Wenshu without any efforts and then stabbed it deep into her shoulder blades.

Yang Wenshu let out a scream of pain and dropped on her knees. Blood gushed out of her shoulders and smeared her shabby blouse.

Shangguan Zheng hadn’t expected that his daughter could be fierce enough to stab someone without even blinking.

Was she the same obedient girl who never used to argue back?

Shangguan Ning scared him.

Shangguan Ning wasn’t satisfied with just stabbing. She wanted to slice off Yang Wenshu’s flesh bit by bit until she bled to death.

Yang Wenshu had forced her mother to die.

Yang Wenshu had almost killed her husband.

Yang Wenshu’s life was not enough to pay back all of these debts.

She wouldn’t kill her now. She would make her suffer every single day until she tasted extreme agony.

She pulled out the knife from Yang Wenshu’s body and then stabbed it on her thigh, making her scream in pain again.

“Scream as loudly as you can, so that my mother can hear it sitting in heaven!”

Tears trickled out of Shangguan Ning’s eyes.

Dead people couldn’t come back. Howsoever much she tormented Yang Wenshu, her mother was never going to return.

Jing Yichen hugged her from behind. It was his way of giving her strength. He said soothingly, “Ning, what mother would have wished for is not revenge, but you to lead a happy life.”

Shangguan Ning nodded and walked towards Shangguan Zheng with the knife which was dripping with blood. She gave him a cold look.

Shangguan Zheng screamed loudly seeing her look like a demon from hell. “What are you holding the knife for? Are you trying to rebel against me? Stay away from me! I have nothing to do with your mother’s death. I didn’t force her. It was all this bitch Yang Wenshu’s deed. Go to her, stay away from me.”

Shangguan Ning mocked him.

“The biggest mistake my mother ever made in her life was to have married you. You knew how she died and also knew who killed her. But you still married that murderess. Hasn’t my mother’s spirit ever come back to haunt you? How dare you lead such an easy life?
