Chapter 301 - The Rival Was Not Alone!

After hearing what Mu Qing said, Jing Yichen had no expression on his face as if he was not talking about him.

Although he had no reaction, Zhao Anan hopped up from the chair and said, in both fury and surprise, “What child? Whose child? What are you talking about? Scumbag Mu, why didn’t you tell me anything!”

Mu Qing made a very innocent face and said, “Hey, Zhao Anan, I wasn’t the target! I have nothing to do with that woman. What are you getting mad at me for?”

Having said the words, she walked out but returned as she reached the door. Then she asked softly, “Brother, does Ning know about this matter?”

Judging Shangguan Ning’s love for her brother, she might have gotten extremely mad after hearing what happened.

Jing Yichen said calmly, “Yes, she does.”

Zhao Anan felt her heart squeeze and asked with a bad expression on face, “Is she furious? How could you have done such a thing? People make trouble because there is trouble to make. That’s why people come to you. It is definitely your fault!”

Jing Yichen threw a cold look at her – why was she being so rude?

Why did she mean by “people making trouble because there is trouble to make”– was he really a troublemaker?

“Nonsense! Someone is setting a trap for me. I have never cheated on Ning. Now, get out!”

Jing Yichen got a bit furious – he was definitely related to this matter, but that was the enemy’s plan. If people truly believed this, then they would start to suspect him very soon.

That was exactly what the enemy wanted to see.

It didn’t matter who the father of Tang Yun’s child was. What mattered was that people close to him would start to suspect him.

The culprit behind the entire plan had predicted that Tang Yun’s pregnancy claim could be proved to be false very easily but that didn’t matter.

What mattered was that there would be an estrangement between Jing Yichen and Shangguan Ning and people around him would start to view him suspiciously.

Jing Yichen was really glad that he was infertile right now. Otherwise a DNA test would have been needed to prove his innocence.

He had never thought that Tang Yun would join forces with someone else to drive him to death.

Jing Yichen scowled, frightening off Zhao Anan immediately.

“It has not been possible to contact Li Yong and his men. They might have...” Tiger stopped talking.

Li Yong and Lee Duo were cousins, and he was also his good friend. They had been with Jing Yichen through life and death and had a very deep friendship tie with each other. Tiger was feeling uneasy since the time he hadn’t heard from that man. He wanted to fly to the US immediately and find out the truth.

“Ask Lee Duo to take some men to the US. We need to find our men, dead or alive!” Jing Yichen sounded very cold. He regarded his men as his own brothers. Lee Yong had been responsible for Tang Yun who ended up making him disappear. He was getting more and more impatient towards Tang Yun.

“Start by questioning our own men. Everyone must be inspected.” Jing Yichen got extremely furious inside his heart. It had been a long time since someone in his team betrayed him. Every newcomer required strict scrutiny so that they were guaranteed not to have a change of heart. Unexpectedly, a huge mistake had been made.

Who was the man strong enough to make Jing Yichen’s men betray him?

“Yes, Master!” Tiger answered and walked out.

In a quiet ward which had the advanced equipment of Family Mu’s Hospital, Tang Yun was crying in a hoarse voice.

“Brother Yichen, how could you be so ruthless? It was our baby, your baby whom you just killed. You can hate me, but you can’t hate our child!”

“It is that foxy lady Shangguan Ning’s fault. Had it not been for her, I would have married you and our baby would not have been gone in this way. Brother Yichen, are you afraid that I would have badgered you after I got pregnant? You are mistaken, I will not badger you any more! Do you think that if you kill the baby, you can deny your love for me and my love for you?”
