Although Jing Yun Zhao didn’t have the power to completely erase Jing Xiu’s background and history currently, she had the power to easily change Jing Xiu’s name. With a simple name change, most people wouldn’t associate Jing Xiu with the infamous ‘Jing Family’, and so her days would go by peacefully.

Additionally after changing schools, Jing Xiu wouldn’t need to worry about being ostracized by her classmates anymore; she wouldn’t need to worry about the never-ending amount of household chores; she could rest easy and focus on her studies.

Obviously, Jing Yun Zhao didn’t plan to ask Jing Xiu to disown the Jing Family, instead what she meant by ‘reverting back to Jing Xiu’ was referring to Jing Xiu’s personality. If Jing Xiu herself didn’t want to change and always reverts back into her timid and weak personality, then even Jing Yun Zhao couldn’t help her.

Jing Xiu had a look of shock as her face was mixed with surprise but worry at the same time.

Jing Xiu had a tiny wish, and that was being able to go to school. However with the current situation, she wasn’t able to focus on her studies... but it was a different story if she could change schools.

“Why would you help me? My parents treated you so harshly...” Jing Xiu said in confusion.

“Because you’re different.” Jing Yun Zhao replied firmly.

If Jing Xiu had the same personality as Wang Xin Fang, then even if Jing Xiu were to kneel down and beg her, she still couldn’t care less about Jing Xiu’s current situation, she would only thought that Jing Xiu being the Jing’s Family daughter was a pity.

“Is it possible...?” She asked in a whisper. Can she truly change and become someone like Jing Yun Zhao? Yet Jing Yun Zhao didn’t reply, as Jing Xiu herself knew whether it was possible or not, all that was missing was her determination.

Jing Yun Zhao wasn’t in a hurry as she waited patiently for Jing Xiu’s answer; while waiting, Du Lin went to the kitchen and cooked a sumptuous feast for the both of them. After a full meal, Jing Xiu finally gathered her courage as she looked towards Jing Yun Zhao.

“Big Sis Yun Zhao, I want to change schools; I want to change my name; I want a fresh start.” Jing Xiu said with conviction.

The girl had a small stature and looked a little malnourished; her hair had already started yellowing as she was forced to mature quickly at such a young age. Normally, people who have matured would be something to celebrate, but seeing someone so young who already understood the hardships of life and was more mature compared to others truly causes one to be distressed and sad on their behalf.

Jing Yun Zhao nodded her head as she replied, “Changing your name now is to achieve a period of peace and quiet, just wait until the buzz over this situation to die down and you can go back to being called Jing Xiu. Even if others find out that you’re the daughter of the infamous ‘Jing’ Family so what? You’re innocent and didn’t commit any crimes, what do you have to be afraid of?

Jing Xiu responded with a ‘mhm’ as a glimmer of expectation could be found in her eyes.

“Since you’ve agreed to my terms, then you should relax here for a few days while I settle your name change and transfer you to a different school. When I’ve settled the issue I’ll bring you to Ning City and they’ll be people there to look after you.” Jing Yun Zhao continued.

Since Yu Ling Wines were currently in the limelight, these problems could easily be resolved with sufficient money as there were many people in Hua Ning County who were acquaintances with Jing Yun Zhao.

Jing Xiu was stunned silly at the sudden change and development, suddenly she had her own room and Du Lin’s old man also doted on her, so she was left to stay at the Du Family for a period of time.

While Jing Yun Zhao was on the way home, she called Bai Yu An to solve a small matter.

Although the name she chose wasn’t special or unique, for her she felt that the name ‘Jing Xiu’ would give off a bitter impression, while the name ‘Jing Fan’ gave off a sunny impression.

Xiang Jing as a 33 year old always lived by herself ever since she moved back to Ning City, and when she heard Jing Yun Zhao needed help, she didn’t ask any questions and became responsible for Jing Fan’s daily activities. At the same time, the place she lived at were also close to Jing Fan’s new school, making it very convenient.
