Chapter 317 - Unscrupulous (不讲道义)

Ever since Qiao Hong Ye dropped out of school, Jing Yun Zhao also cut contact with Hua Zei. However, Hua Zei could be considered as someone with principles, and for a small matter like this, it was more appropriate to let him handle it.

If she were to send these people to the police station, these gangsters wouldn’t have a hint of gratitude towards her.

Previously, when Jing Yun Zhao contacted Hua Zei, she used a burner phone, and when she cut contact with Hua Zei, she also stopped using the burner phone. However, now that she didn’t want to hide anything anymore, she called Hua Zei using her personal phone number.

Seeing the foreign number appearing on his phone, Hua Zei raised an eyebrow and thought that it could be someone looking for his services.

However, ever since they settled the matter involving Qiao Hong Ye, Hua Zei and his gang of brothers had never received such an easy job, causing them to reminisce about it frequently.

Once the call was connected, Hua Zei’s voice lazily rang out.

Hearing his voice, Jing Yun Zhao didn’t beat around the bush and instantly asked, “Hua Zei, are you familiar with ‘Black Panther’?”

Hearing the familiar voice through the phone, Hua Zei was startled as he quickly checked the phone number again before replying, “It’s you?”

The familiar voice belonged to a ‘little boy’ who cut contact with them after transferring the payment to them, and they also understood this unspoken rule and didn’t try to find the ‘little boy’ anymore. They all thought that Jing Yun Zhao wouldn’t contact them anymore, but who knew that after a few months, she contacted them again.

“Why are you asking about Black Panther? Did you offend him? I’ll give you a word of advice, Black Panther has many brothers and he’s a very cruel and vicious person. Not only that, many private establishments are under his protection and he’s also the type of person to accept any type of job. He wouldn’t even bat an eye whether he was beating an elder or a child. Just keep in mind that he and Cao Xing are totally different and can’t be compared and if you were to meet him, I suggest you try your best to avoid and keep your distance from him.” Hua Zei said politely.

He spoke so much that his mouth felt numb already, and if it were someone else asking the same question, he would’ve requested the other party to pay up for this information.

However, this ‘little brother’ wasn’t the same as the others, due to the fact that after Cao Xing was completely destroyed, all his underlings became the Hua Zeis henchmen. Not only that, even Cao Xing’s territory also became his and although he couldn’t be compared to Black Panther, he still had some influence in Hua Ning County. “I’ve already provoked them, we’re inside a small alleyway beside Qing Nian Street...”

“How many people are there?” Hua Zei asked before Jing Yun Zhao could finish.

“There’s around 50 of them here.” Jing Yun Zhao replied.

“You try and find a way to stall for time while I come with my brothers!” Hua Zei said as he hung up the phone and quickly called his brothers for help.

This Black Panther, he’s truly unscrupulous, clearly that little boy was still a child, yet he still dared to take action?

If this were to happen to someone else, he couldn’t care less, however he was someone who wouldn’t forget about the favours he’s received. Since he’s taken the money of this ‘little boy’ previously, and adding onto the fact that he didn’t really do much at that time, if he didn’t help this ‘little boy’ out, his reputation would be gone!

Jing Yun Zhao stared at her phone in a daze as she never expected Hua Zei to not ask any questions after hearing what she said.

Jing Yun Zhao shook her head as the cold wind blew on this chilly night, and since she was bored, she found a spot near the wall and squatted there while waiting for Hua Zei and his group of people to arrive.

While waiting, there was the occasional gangster who still wanted to fight but was swiftly stopped by Jing Yun Zhao’s violent means. As a result, the group of gangsters were a pile of mess, with a large majority of them groaning and grunting in pain.

After 20 minutes passed, there were a few people that walked past this alleyway, but when they saw the brutal scene inside, they all hurriedly left as if they never saw anything.

It was already midnight, who in their right mind wanted to find any trouble for themselves?

The speed of Hua Zei could be considered fast as he only gathered around 10+ people with him. This was because he came with the intention to negotiate with Black Panther, not to fight him. After all, even if he were to beat Black Panther today, he would still be defeated by Black Panther’s retaliation in the future, and if that were to happen, their fate would be sealed and their ending would be gruesome.
